"This is a very grand grand home," Faye exclaimed with an open mouth as she observed a very grand Palace as she watched in Disney movies.
"Ah, you liked it?" Zhenyi asked her with a fond smile.
"Very," the little girl said.
"Then, we should ask Ryuu to build one for you?" Zhenyi teased the little girl.
The bubbly Faye seemed to have become silent for a moment. There was a trace of sadness visible in her eyes. Glancing up at Zhenyi, she said with a sad smile, "I do not want a grand grand home, Aunt. I just want a home where I can live with Ru, Mama, Bà, and Yèyè."
When Zhenyi heard her precious niece's sensible words, she was rendered speechless. Everyone was busy with their problems, they didn't care what consequences this kid had to face.
But, that's it.
It was more than enough now.
"Come, let's go inside," said Zhenyi while taking the little one's hand in hers. As Zhenyi entered the threshold of the Tang Palace, the surrounding of the Tang Palace stilled for a moment. They were staring at the little figure coming their way with open mouths.
[Is she who they think she is?]
This question was running in everyone's heart but no one dared to raise it aloud.
Although Lord Tang was known for his coldness, but he was never unnecessarily cold or harsh to the staff working in the Tang Palace. He could be the most easing going boss if f he wanted to... but if someone made a serious mistake, there wouldn't be anyone more cruel than him. What he hated the most was unnecessary gossips!
And the one accompanying the little girl was no one else but the princess of the clan, Lady Tang Reine's daughter. So, it was obvious that they wouldn't do or ask anything that would offend her.
"My queen, are you ready for my surprise?"Zhenyi questioned the little girl who was too calm for her age.
Faye nodded her head without hesitation. She didn't tell her aunt that she found surprises troublesome!
With a click, the door to Ryuu's room opened and they gazed inside only to find Ryuu reading a book while sitting on the bed, Alcina was engrossed in her laptop and when both of them looked up, they found Zhenyi smiling at them. Since they didn't see below, so they naturally didn't find their daughter and only asked Zhenyi to come inside.
Only when Zhenyi took a step forward, Ryuu's gaze fell on his precious daughter who was staring at him with teary eyes.
He stretched out his arms and she came running towards him.
Alcina sadly smiled when she saw his daughter tightly hugging her father. It was as if her life depends on the hug. Or maybe, she was worried that she would be taken away from her father.
"Ah, who dared to bully my Faye?" Ryuu asked his daughter who was refusing to remove her arms around him. Instead of getting out of her hold, he tightly locked her in his arms.
"No one," She whispered against his neck.
Ryuu could feel something warm and wet on his neck. And it broke his heart to see his daughter like that. But he was happy that she was finally expressing her emotions instead of bottling them up.
Perhaps, keeping her away from him was not a bad idea. She was extremely dependent on him and it was the reason why she wouldn't bother to read her own emotions. And it didn't just end here, instead of Ryuu, she wouldn't talk to anyone. It wasn't that she couldn't, it was just that she didn't want to.
"Do you like my surprise?" Zhenyi questioned her niece.
Faye turned to look at her aunt and nodded with a happy smile. She, then, glanced at her mom who was staring back at her lovingly, and stretched her arms towards her.
Alcina took her into her arms and after thousands of kisses, she put her back on Ryuu's lap.
"Do you miss me, kiddo?" Alcina raised her brow to tease the arrogant kid.
Faye rolled her eyes and turned to look at another side.
"Did she just rolled her eyes?" Ryuu asked his baby mama.
"It seems…" Alcina mumbled.
"Just what are you teaching my daughter?" Ryuu glanced at his sister and asked.
"Oh, it seemed Bà didn't inform you. Faye has classes from morning to evening. Music. Swimming. Cooking. Dance. Singing. Etiquette. And what not! Oh yeah, Bà has been looking for a good martial arts teacher for her too. He thinks it's the perfect age to cultivate good martial artists."
Alcina's jaw literally fell on the ground. She snaked an arm around Faye's shoulder and leaned ahead subconsciously. Her poor baby girl.
"Angel, she is just five…" Ryuu rubbed his forehead in despair.
Zhenyi sighed. "Bà says that music is the outlet for emotions and this is what his granddaughters need now. So, both of them sit together in Bà's courtyard and play several kinds of musical instruments. And Faye genuinely likes it."
Ryuu and Alcina looked at their daughter who nodded in return and then said with a cheeky smile, "Bà is best."
"As for other classes, they are just to increase her interaction with everyone. She has trouble with eating and so, Yèyè suggested involving her in the process and it really worked. Don't worry, they take proper measures and don't let her anywhere near the kitchen."
"You love Bà and Yèyè?" Ryuu asked his daughter who replied to him with one word, "Very."
"Stay for lunch," Ryuu said to his sister who was retiring from work.
"Can't," Zhenyi said."We will drop Faye at Bà's in the evening if it's alright with you?"
Alcina nodded. "Absolutely. It's not alright for her to stay beside Ryuu for longer intervals of time. She was glaring at me when I had to give him an injection. Can you think that she would let me poke needles inside her father every day if I let her live beside him?"
"Cia, she is a kid."
"A kid who is spoiled beyond words by her father."
"Well, Grandma asked me to give this to you," said Zhenyi as she mailed something to Alcina. " Tomorrow evening. 7pm at the given address. Text me if you need to babysit my bro. Bye, guys. See you soon."
Zhenyi sashayed after giving rise to a huge argument between the to be couple.
