They saw Tenebres still sitting on his throne, looking amused. He really felt superior to everyone, and amidst their resilience, everyone couldn't help but understand why… he was a monster; he wasn't a human. His powers apparently had no limits.
Tenebres raised his hands again, and then the bodies began to tremble… However, this time, they suddenly exploded. Everyone was a bit surprised, but it was clear the reason for that… Tenebres truly could only revive them for so long.
"I suppose it can't be helped; I will play with you for a while," Tenebres said while smiling and getting up from his throne. "I have time to kill, after all."
Aion looked around and wondered if the group had any chance of winning… they didn't have any. Even at the peak… they had negative chances now that they were exhausted.
"You need to buy time," Aion whispered. "Ask him what his goal is, what his true goal is."
"... What the hell do you want, Tenebres?" Malon asked while raising his voice. "What the hell are you?"
"Hmm? Why do you care? You are just a human who is scared down to your shit because I am far superior to you," Tenebres replied. "All this time getting in my way, and you never were able to think, why am I doing this? I highly doubt that you will understand, even if I put it into words. Your intention to stall for a time was the right one, but I can see through you very easily."
That wasn't a good sign… everyone readied themselves to fight, but it was clear that they didn't stand a chance. When Aion felt Tenebre's bloodlust, he decided to do something more… Cailena didn't seem like the grandma shrimp that he knew. Still, he could tell that they were connected somehow.
Aion tried to change his class and use his system, but he couldn't… as expected, that didn't exist at that period of time. So, he couldn't do it. That being said, he still had another trick up his sleeve…
As Tenebres launched himself towards the group, his movements were almost as fast as light itself. His attacks came with blinding speed, aiming to overwhelm and obliterate his adversaries. The air crackled with dark energy as he closed in on them.
But standing resolute in the face of this onslaught was Malon; his sword held steady, and his senses honed to perfection. With impeccable timing and unmatched skill, he intercepted Tenebres' lightning-fast strikes, meeting each one with a resounding clash of metal against fists. The clash of their attacks reverberated through the halls of the castle, a testament to the titanic struggle unfolding before them.
As Tenebres unleashed his full might, shockwaves erupted from the point of impact, rippling through the very structure of the castle. The shockwaves traveled with tremendous force, shaking the foundations and causing the walls to tremble. The echoing booms echoed through the halls, a testament to the immense power being unleashed.
Tenebres, caught off guard by Malon's unwavering defense, found himself visibly surprised. He had not anticipated that his opponent would possess the skill and strength to block his attacks. A flicker of uncertainty flashed across his face, momentarily betraying his confidence.
The clash of swords and the subsequent shockwaves continued to fill the throne room as the confrontation escalated. With each strike, Malon demonstrated his unwavering resolve and refusal to yield to Tenebres' oppressive presence. His determination, coupled with his mastery of the sword, allowed him to hold his ground against the onslaught of the dark lord.
In the face of Malon's unyielding defense, Tenebres realized that his opponent was more formidable than he had anticipated. The surprise in his eyes transformed into a mixture of frustration and begrudging respect. The realization that Malon could keep up with his speed and power forced Tenebres to reassess the situation and adapt his strategy accordingly.
"How did you do that?" Tenebres asked. "You are supposed to be on your limit… you don't have enough energy or experience to face me with my speed… so how…."
Malon wished that he could explain that, but he couldn't. He wanted to believe that his parents were helping him from the beyond, but it had been a while since he noticed that something else had been helping him… he didn't know what it was, though.
Although Aion couldn't use his system and classes, he still had his knowledge, and it seemed that he still had his insane mana pool and talent for magic as well.
He could use some magic without using the classes that granted him those skills, but Aion never thought of using that with the advanced stuff. Still, he instinctively knew how to restore the stamina and mana of Malon in a single moment.
Aion's magical abilities are rooted in the fundamental principles of manipulation and channeling of energy. He has honed his skills through years of study and practice, thanks to his bloodline as well, since his mother was one of the best when it comes to healing magic, delving deep into the mysteries of magic and its connection to the physical and metaphysical aspects of existence.
When Aion casts his restoration magic, he taps into the natural flows of magical energy that permeate the world. He harnesses these energies, channeling them through his own essence as a conduit. By focusing his intent and willpower, he directs this energy toward the specific target, in this case, Malon.
Aion's understanding of the interplay between stamina and mana allows him to weave a spell that replenishes both aspects simultaneously. Through his mastery of restorative magic, he accesses the wellspring of vitality and magical potential within himself and directs it toward Malon. The energy flows into Malon's body, revitalizing his weary muscles and replenishing his depleted mana reserves.
Despite the trials and battles they had endured, Malon seemed to possess an unyielding strength that surpassed Tenebres' expectations. Puzzled by this phenomenon, Tenebres delved into deep thought, searching for an explanation for this anomaly.
