"Urgh… what are you doing?" Aion asked while he saw his vision getting blurry.
At the same time, Aion could feel a lot of steam leaving his body as well… he didn't expect that such a thing would happen, but a lot of souls were giving him their energy. It was the energy of millions of people, so it was only natural that with his current strength, he couldn't handle all that much.
"What you don't know is the fact that everyone here already accepted their deaths," An unknown voice echoed in Aion's head. "Once they saw a kid like you thinking ahead, thinking about the future and other periods of time, everyone understood how short-sighted we have been. For that, I am thankful, Aion."
"Who the hell are you?" Aion asked. "Rather than that, you guys are talking too much. How the hell have the enemies didn't find me yet?"
"I am your uncle. You can call me Adonis. Not like you will have many chances to do that," Adonis said. "Regardless, all this energy is forcing you to unleash your true potential, and it looks like you can also use time magic even without the relics. I don't know why, though… you shouldn't have that blood running into your veins. Regardless, this is all that we can do. The rest will be up to you."
Aion felt like his head was about to split, and he was unable to say anything. In the next moment, Aion was engulfed in a massive pillar of light that destroyed everything in dozens of kilometers… millions of souls used all of their energy to stop the enemies and give Aion a chance to escape. Still, unfortunately, things didn't go exactly as they had planned.

In the end, Aion saw himself in a dark dimension, and he felt like he was moving toward something. Still, he was too sleepy to confirm that… eventually, his body began to approach that world and then eventually to the dungeon of a dark castle… in the next moment, he saw himself seeing things from Malon's perspective again.
| сom "Oh, shit… not this again," Aion thought while feeling like facepalming. "I don't have time for this… To think that such a thing would happen now of all times..."
Aion slowly began to recall what had happened before, and he couldn't tell if he was in a dream or if the things that happened before were a dream. Either way, he couldn't feel his powers anymore, and he couldn't feel the presence of the souls inside him.
"What a troublesome situation…" Aion thought, and then he realized that while he was back that Malon and the girl that looked like his grandma weren't moving at all.
Aion felt that he had paused a movie in 4d or something. Still, when he thought about seeing the events unfold, time began to move again…
Malon looked at the healer with some concern but quickly went to the cell and opened the lock with the iron sword. Breaking those were starting to look easy… he felt like he could have used his hands to do the same if he had trained more with his bare hands.
"We'll talk later... let's go before anyone comes back," Malon said while looking around.
"Right..." The girl nodded.
The girl came out of the cell and then followed Malon. Aion had the idea to make things move faster, and like he had pressed the fast-forward button, the events began to unfold several times faster than before. Those two found some sewers and then crossed them while feeling grossed out and then eventually found themselves in a swamp… they managed to escape, but things weren't looking that good. They felt like they needed to clean themselves really hard, but the swamp looked more than a little bit dangerous.
"What is your name, and why were you brought here?" Malon asked after he realized that they would probably have to develop some sense of companionship in order to survive the rest of the situation.
The healer looked down and then began to walk, accompanied by Malon.
"My name is Cailena, my mother and I used to live peacefully in a harbor village near here…" The girl said while looking down. "We have some talent when it comes to healing magic... but that didn't seem to be the only reason for the invasion of our village."
"They invaded your village well… And do you know what the reason was?" Malon furrowed his eyebrows.
"Not…" Cailena replied. "But they seemed to be looking only for my mother, and to avoid problems, they took me too. They didn't kill everyone in the village but set fire to some houses to serve as a warning, maybe because it's an important port... but even so, we ended up here."
"How long ago was that?" Malon asked.
"It's been a few days…but what about you? What is your name?" Cailena asked.
"Malon… they destroyed my entire town and killed my parents… because I was hunting with a friend, I escaped, but someone from the guild turned me in," Malon said and then sighed since he realized how stupid he had been. " I believe it's the hooded man I saw. It was weird that he was standing in a corner just reading, he was just listening to me, and I didn't even realize… the enemies must have that kind of people working for them everywhere. Without a force of that scale, they wouldn't have raided my hometown that easily…"
The behavior of the girl and his grandmother were like water and oil, so Aion couldn't help but think that perhaps they had some blood connection. Now that he thought about it, Malon saw some places, but Aion didn't recognize any of the towns or the swamp in front of those, for that matter. Could the world have changed so much in just three thousand years… how much destruction must those two have witnessed? Aion could make a small guess…
