Aion kept chasing the enemy, but he didn't try to approach all that much. The enemy knew that soon he was going to reach his limits, after all, so there was no need to hurry… even though he was running at two thousand kilometers per hour.
Both of them were surprised that they could keep up with that nonstop without running out of mana… still, it looked like the enemy underestimated Aion a bit, or perhaps he didn't consider that he had allies.
All of a sudden, the area ahead of the enemy began to freeze, and the temperature decreased… a massive wall of ice began to spread around the ocean at fearsome speeds. The man, that was more than half metal tried to run to the side and escape the trap. Still, then he was forced to retreat when Aion fired a massive earth spear was fired toward it… the wall on the side was completed, and when the enemy turned, the other side and the back had been sealed.
They found themselves inside a very cold box of ice… while that was his plan, and he asked Celion to prepare the trap, Aion still regretted it a bit since his balls were freezing.
"Well, then. You should spill the beans while you can," Aion said. "You won't like to try to talk once I break all of your teeth. Help me out here, and I will give you a quick death."
The metallic man kept looking around, trying to find a solution to his predicament. He didn't know his place, and that was why he still thought that he could escape.
"Pay attention when others are talking…" Aion said, and then he summoned and fired an ice spear at the enemy's face, but he quickly moved to the side and dodged the attack without even looking at it.
"You must be Aion Kresnik. You don't look that strong," the metallic man said.
"You run away from people that you strong? You are someone very interesting, I see," Aion furrowed his eyebrows.
"My job wasn't to fight, but blame you for that," the metallic man said.
"You can keep saying that to yourself later when you begin to cry upon realizing your unavoidable death," Aion said.
"I don't think so. You can't kill me," The metallic man said as if it was a matter of fact.
That guy wasn't showing any emotion, so Aion wondered where that confidence was coming from… it didn't seem like he was trying to bullshit Aion, and it would need more than simple words to convince him or force him to drop his guard.
"Considering your body… I would say that you can reproduce your entire existence with just some materials and enough energy," Aion said while rubbing his chin thoughtfully. "Let me guess, you also used Mana to clone yourself, and you have some spare bodies to control."
"... As expected, you are someone who knows too many secrets," The metallic man said. "That isn't knowledge that someone like you should have under normal circumstances."
"Jackpot, huh," Aion shrugged. "This was just a fair guess, but sometimes my intelligence frightens me. Anyway, this is your last chance. Even if you don't tell me what I want, you are still going to benefit me a lot."
The metallic man suddenly began to run around at fearsome speeds. The ice cage was like three hundred meters long and wide. Despite that, he could do several laps around it per second. Aion could tell that he was trying to melt the ice with his speed, but Aion had already considered that.
The metallic man suddenly noticed his speed dropping and then frowned since Aion apparently wasn't doing anything… until he noticed that the temperature in the room had decreased tremendously… to the point that even his body was starting to be covered in ice.
"You are insane…" the metallic man said.
"Not enough for anyone to think that I need to talk with some doctors," Aion said and then smiled with his blue lips, thanks to the cold. "Now die."
The metallic man realized that things would only get harder if he let Aion do what he wanted, so he decided to attack. He kicked one of the walls with all his might and then approached Aion. Unfortunately for him, he was welcomed by a Mana Barrier. The impact consumed a lot of Aion's mana, but at least it made the enemy endure the full weight of his own attack.
While the enemy was groaning in pain, Aion changed to the Earth Bender class and then summoned a lot of sand, and then covered the enemy's body. The metallic man tried to move away, but a lot of it had already been attached to his metallic body. He used his massive speed with his arms to get rid of the sand, but he could only do so much since Aion still kept summoning more, and the cold was also wetting and freezing it.
All of a sudden, the body of that guy began to glow a lot more while emitting mana, and Aion could tell that he was no longer holding back… all that energy began to push away the sand and ice around its body.
The metallic man began to run again, and Aion could barely see him moving. It didn't take long before the ice cage began to crack because of it… Aion was tired of facing someone who didn't want to fight. Most likely, another asshole just came to cause problems and analyze Aion's skills.
It was an extremely inefficient way to deal with the enemy like that, but it was the fastest. While summoning a mana Barrier, Aion also absorbed a lot of mana orbs and then unleashed all that mana in a single explosion of ice magic… the interior of the ice cage was completely filled with ice.
At first, the cage trembled, but eventually, it stopped moving, and Aion was informed of his victory.
