"Arlana, did anyone begin to build a city or any form of civilization in the area in the future?" Aion asked.

"No, the cold will only get worse in the future, after all," Arlana replied. "I guess the appearance of this dungeon in the future is also weird."

The final part of the dungeon is quite large… It looked like some sort of temple. While looking around and thinking about all that, Aion saw some fragments on the ground of a blue sphere. It looked like a mana orb, but mana orbs could only be touched by those that created them.

"I guess this was the dungeon core…" Seris said while looking around and finding nothing. "There are no signs of activities here… I guess the dungeon core was exposed to the explosion while being controlled remotely by some sort of spell."

Aion used the relics and then confirmed that there was nothing else for them to do in that timeline. That was good and all, but it was annoying that the enemy wasn't in their grasp…

Although it was weak, Aion still could feel some mana coming from the fragments of the mana core, so he decided to absorb them.

"Is this a coincidence? Maybe not, since the dungeon core was being controlled and manipulating the behavior of the monsters," Aion rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

The group checked the area more thoroughly before leaving the place and then heading toward the frozen tyrant again. He used that time to think of what the enemy was planning… considering that the magma golems could become that strong with heat alone, the enemy was probably planning to get rid of the ice tornado using the heat and then kill or weaken the frozen tyrant with the magma golems. Still, this time, Aion couldn't imagine how the enemy would benefit from that without someone like the draconic wanderer obtaining the power directly.

"Which reminds me… can this guy still get stronger by eating monsters?" Aion thought while watching the draconic wanderer pushing the chamber that he created.

"This was pretty intense, but it ended way faster than I had expected…" Seris said and then sighed. "I need to think of better ways to use my power."

Aion wished that he could help her with that, but he already had too many things on his mind to keep him busy. In any case, when the sun was starting to set, they reached the ice storm, and once they got five hundred meters away, they began to feel the pulling Power of it, and the cold was also again getting quite intense… Aion waited for a while, but it didn't look like the frozen tyrant was going to show himself anytime soon.

"Good grief…" Aion said and then sighed.

It was annoying, but Aion will have to use all the remaining mana orbs that he had to dispel the ice tornado… if the frozen tyrant decides to fight him afterward, things sure were going to be messy.ραпdα `nᴏνɐ| сom

Still, Aion decided to take that as a test coming from the frozen tyrant. Using all his power and mana available, Aion created his own tornado and made it rotate in the opposite direction. That bad been quite difficult since they were supposed to rotate in different directions according to their position in the world. However, that was probably the best option that Aion had without risking causing a disaster… Even though that idea in itself is pretty dangerous, it was better than nothing.

While making the tornado reach the clouds, Aion made it move toward the other as well. The winds in the area began to change their direction… several trees began to be pulled from the ground and rotate through the tornadoes.

When the tornadoes bit each other, the currents suddenly stopped altogether, and a massive blast pushed everything in a five kilometers radius away.

Aion created an earth wall to block the blast, but he still had a hard time protecting Seris and Arlana. After a few seconds, the entire area became a bit more bright since the clouds were pushed away, and once he pulled away the earth wall, Aion and the others saw a massive ice mountain. It was so thick and covered in snow that they couldn't see anything inside.

"Let's get going," Aion declared.

Seris and Arlana nodded and then sighed. Seris couldn't imagine herself doing anything even close to that with even more orbs of mana… she had been training other types of magic. Still, even so… Aion looked more unrivaled than ever.

As for Arlana, she only felt even more that her presence was even more unneeded. More than a month had passed since she came to that timeline, and there were no chances for her to be useful. She couldn't complain about her life. Artemisia liked her, she lived a comfortable life, and it seemed that she was working for a better future… but the lack of a real purpose that she had before was troubling…

Once they reached the mountain, they noticed that it wasn't that cold anymore. Still, they could feel a powerful presence inside it. Aion wondered what he should do… waiting seemed like a pain since it was getting late, but there were no signs of the Frozen Tyrant's awakening.

"Hey, wake up… you should at least receive your guests properly," Aion said and then kicked the ice mountain.

"What would you do if someone kicked your bed to wake you up?" Seris furrowed her eyebrows.

"I would probably kick their ass," Aion replied.

Seris sighed since Aion was just unbelievable, but she had to forget about that because the ice mountain began to crack.
