1188 CHAPTER 1158 STEELE

He cannot waste such a perfect vessel, he will give it a honourable death.

“FIRE!” He roars as the cannons in the ship lights up and they bore through a hole in one of the giant asteroids flying towards their direction.

He is relieved, he cannot help but laugh in an evil manner after thinking that the insects that are now chasing after him will also have to go through this location, many of them will certainly get smacked into pieces by these giant rocks.

“Hahaha! I wish I could see their expressions after they reach this coordinate but still, the poison is still very much dangerous for my family, fortunately, I have realised its danger before it is too late.” He mumbles to himself.

Their ship passes through the asteroid field and finally returns to a much more calm and safer path, still, the beauty and horror of space astounds him.

“Wow, being confined in a world truly narrows my imagination.” He marvels as he passes by multiple extraordinary scenes that will forever burn in his memories.

‘Hmm?’ The will of the lower realm warns him about something but he is not clear about what it is.

“I think it is safer to listen to it.” He mumbles and directs the ship to one of the giant floating rocks present in the area.

“Deploy maximum barrier capacity.” The ship instantly lights up and a barrier appears around it, the consumption of energy increases but he rather risk such a thing that ignores the danger that the vastness of space carries.

.....

The entire world seems to be shaking, the undeads were rattled and many of them fell down to the floor of the ship.

“What the hell?” His eyes widen as he sees the entire space around him twists and turns, a large part of the rock he lands upon is now destroyed by this chaotic scene.

“A spatial storm!” He roars as he summons his black hole, trying to decrease the damage and impact that the spatial storm will cause the ship.

“Brace for impact!” He roars as the last part of the rock they are currently stationed in is swallowed by the spatial storm.

The ship is tossed and turned by the violent spatial storm, even Shadowslash, who has quite an amazing tolerance to almost everything becomes sick.

Fortunately for him, he only brought undeads with him, if he had brought any living being, the ship would have been filled with vomit.

This situation continues for about two days before they are thrown into an extremely hot planet, Shadowslash can no longer hold himself and vomit all over the floor.

“D*mn! That is one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered!” Trying to find his balance, he grabs the table nearest to him and sits down.

Massaging his temples, he cannot believe that the ship managed to survive such a violent and powerful spatial storm.

“Ship Command! Ship Command! Are you online?!” Hearing no response, he realises the severity of the issue.

[System is online, processing... system is now operational]

He heaves a sigh of relief, he thought that it got destroyed during the spatial storm.

“Ship Command, Calculate the damage.”

[Processing... Calculation complete, ship damage is up to 89%, booster down, cannon down, barrier down, array formation broken...]

Almost everything is broken, he feels his heart is on his throat, he cannot believe that his mission will end up as a failure.

‘No!’ He roars in his heart, he tries to stand up but the dizziness and the drawback of using his black hole hits him at the same time.

BANG! He falls to the floor with blood leaking out of his ears, mouth and eyes, he stabilises himself but because of the messy and chaotic thoughts running in his mind, he can only fall to the ground once again.

“Ship Command, initiate sleep mode.” He then faints on the floor, fortunately for him, the undeads finds him and brings him into his room, his appearance is now very terrifying as blood continues to leak out all over his body.

The undeads then start repairing the ship, many of them are unable to move but fortunately, there is a backup energy core within the ship that helps the undeads recover.

All of them are trained in situations such as this, as long as the ship they are in command is on the verge of destruction, they immediately operate like in their training.

Shadowslash opens his eyes, he feels a little bit better than before, he asks “Ship Command, how long I have been unconscious.”

[3 days]

He nods his head, he feels that he did not waste that much time “Ship Command, what is the ship’s current condition?”

[The ship’s damages have been repaired up to 50%]

‘The undeads are efficient.’ He stands up, only to fall into the floor, it seems that his body is still recovering from the damage he is carrying, not to mention, the poison is still present.

The Fragment (Dungeon Universe) might help him seal the replicas into an independent domain but it takes essence from his body in order to operate.

Taking a couple of deep breaths, he finally manages to stand up straight, he feels like his body is now being stabbed multiple times at a constant rate.

Ignoring the pain, he walks to the main ship command and sits in the captain seat, he asks “Ship Command, tell me, is there still any energy source left to fly?”

[Using the backup energy core, it is still possible to fly.]

He has plans for the backup energy core, he cannot waste it here “Ship Command, is there any energy source present at our current location?”

[The star that the ship is currently in standby is an excellent source of energy.]

‘Star? We are actually resting on a star?!’ He is startled, quickly, he activates the ship’s camera and sees the image of a burning field in front of him.

He heaves a sigh of relief and feels grateful for the fact that the scholars and inventors of Gaia have already been informed about the absolute cold and destructive heat present anywhere in the vastness of space.

“Lucky!” He laughs out loud, there is still a silver lining, with Heaven Swallowing Technique, he absorbs the power of the star and transfers it to the ship but at the same time, he is nurturing the poison.

As the poison grows stronger, the greater its restriction to his body, if this goes on, the amount of time he can use World Destroyer will become lesser but he no longer cares for this.

His trump card is the black hole inside his Dantian, he knows that as long as he sacrifices the remaining essence in his body, uses the poison as the core and with his mastery over the Plunder and Devouring Law, he can create a real black hole.

The start actually grows dimmer as time passes by, after the ship’s energy becomes full once again, the start finally becomes like a normal rock.

All the undeads have reached the peak of their current realm, they might not be useful in the upcoming battle but at least they can last longer if they become stronger.

The ship zips through space once more and this time, they enter a wormhole that once again decreases a large chunk of distance between them and their targets.

Looking at the undeads that practically nurtured him throughout this journey, he can’t help but feel thankful that none of them are intelligent, they are basically like robots.

‘Robots!’ Something clicks on his mind and he looks at the undeads that are coming and going inside the ship.

Meanwhile, back in Gaia, the entire situation is now temse, the people are fighting amongst each other, they are arguing if the decision that the Hope Family has chosen should be implemented in a much harsher or lighter manner.

Most pick the former, they feel that they are much superior to the people that do not belong to Gaia, meanwhile, some pick the latter because they feel that their almighty lord will also pick the same thing at the account of how kind he is.

There is constant fight but no one takes any battle too far, only slight injuries but still, this situation divides multiple families and organizations.

The younger generation feels that the former is a better choice in order to show their superiority towards otherworlders, meanwhile, the older generation remembers just how miserable Gaia is before, they do not want others to experience what they had undergone.

Of course, because of the existence of the elves, no country or power dares to do a massive battle, small fights are permitted but more than a hundred participants in one power or country is considered as illegal.

There are now top ten lists of most powerful young masters that exist in Holy Continent, the Steele is projected all over the world one time every week, this is the agreement that Leafinia and the rest of the Hope Family accepted.

Since there are now opposing opinions between the people, they can only use this to dissolve the excess tension between the younger generations.
