Hi, everybody. I have recently started a new novel called I’ll Become a Villainess That Will Go Down in History. You can read it HERE.

In fact, the editor-in-chief and the main person in charge of the ‘Fashion Li Liya’ magazine was one of the people introduced by Yin Wei—the ones she only briefly met during the day.

When the editor-in-chief saw Xu Xinduo, he felt that this look and figure would definitely be the darling of the model circle.

After learning that Xu Xinduo was indeed working as a model, he asked which company Xu Xinduo worked for but said nothing else. She guessed that the final decision wasn’t something that he could make on-the-spot, so he remained silent throughout the rest of the meeting.

The editor-in-chief went to Star Entertainment afterwards to ask for Xu Xinduo’s information. Soon, he took the initiative to send an invitation to Xu Xinduo.

One was because Xu Xinduo’s appearance was suitable and the other is that he could do a favour for Yin Wei. After all, Yin Wei was also the spokesperson of many international brands. For the future cooperation between the two parties, this face was worth selling.

For the issue of the Lantern Festival series this time, the shoot was actually imminent. Before this, there were already four models that were candidates for the shoot and were going to commence really soon. However, the plans changed to allocate five models after seeing Xu Xinduo.

Among these five people are Xu Xinduo, another girl who is currently one of the more popular models in the entertainment industry, one of them a constant web-traffic niche and two other cover models.

The five of them were all born later than 2000. They had their own characteristics and neither were typical appearances that catered to the mechanical general liking. They were natural and unique— a type that the editor-in-chief adored the most.

Nowadays, there were many legendary and beautiful artists in the entertainment circle, but the editor-in-chief didn’t like many of them.

The sculptural theme was too strong as there were no distinct characteristics to them— their eyes were big and the faces were small. But if so, he might as well put some clothes on a bjd(2) and take pictures of the doll.

(T/N: Acronym for Ball-jointed dolls, these dolls are immaculately sculpted and rather pretty. Known to be much more expensive than regular dolls because of the intricacy and the accuracy that made them really beautiful)

Besides, he had free rein over the theme and Xu Xinduo was obedient. The cost was low and he didn’t need to serve the ‘big names’ either.

Yin Wei’s recommendation was really good for him.

Moreover, ‘Fashion Li Liya’ magazine was already regarded as a top fashion magazine in China. So many models have tried their hand in mixing and using connections to grasp a chance, but they were never able to appear on the cover page.

Yet, Xu Xinduo was on the cover in one fell swoop.

One point was because the magazine needed a model born after the 00’s, and another factor was because Yin Wei’s introduction was timely, securing Xu Xinduo a spot in the shoot.

The time of their photoshoot would be in the afternoon on the next day, which was also the first day of the Lunar Calendar.

The web-traffic niche model has gone to participate in the Spring Festival Gala and will come by plane tomorrow. The flight was bound to arrive in the morning. Brother Zhang and Xu Xinduo agreed on a time to meet, significantly early as there weren’t enough makeup artists and it was a policy for the newbies to arrive earlier to get their makeup done early.

Regardless of the shooting in the afternoon, Xu Xinduo was going to do some costume stylings in the morning. They have agreed to leave at 7 o’clock tomorrow morning.
