The Kidnapped Bride

Chapter 564 - 564 Broken Love-2

564 Broken Love-Javier didn’t move his face yet he used his lips to say, “Jennifer is killed.”

Hearing this, Jack frowned. His brows raised upwards and he patted Javier’s back and stepped back. He looked at Javier who showed no expressions but it didn’t mean that he was calm. The voice was itself carrying enough pressure that showed he was restless. Jack understood the turmoil the man must be going through but it was still news to digest. He has worked with Jennfier back to bewitch a plan. She was a great help for him in obtaining the signatures of Lucas on property contracts.

It was the last thing he imagined for her to be deliberately killed by anyone under Javier’s wings. As per everyone it was an accident and her car was burnt. ‘Does it mean she was burnt and that accident was intentional?’ It brewed curiosity but Jack kept himself composed.

He looked at Javier again to ask in a very slow voice “Who is behind this?”

“Your grandfather.” came the blunt answer from the other end and Jack was a bit taken aback but covered up those emotions. “Is that so? Any proof?”

“He was the one who called me and informed me. He warned me so that I could save my wife. His men were trialing.”

Jack didn’t immediately react but he could feel the fury burning in Javier’s innervoice. He received a special notice telling him about Jennifer’s death. At first he was surprised to learn that Javier Johnson is asking for a meeting with him, not alone but at the funeral. He didn’t react but expecting the old man to be involed in such a huge murder.

“Do you want my help?” Jack asked cautiously and he nodded his head. “You do know what I need help with and I hope you will help me get that.”

“Absolutely. Her death will be avenged in any way you want. Moreover.” Jack adjusted his collar to come near Javier’s ears again and whispered, “I have been looking forward to removing the old man and his lovely grandson from my way for some time now. I hope you will help me in the same.”

.....

Javier didn’t reply but beneath his eyes, his eyes had ruined cold. The killing intent depicted in his aura where he wanted to bring the old man with Jennifer. But not so soon. His revenge will not be so easy to fulfill. He will bring a slow and most cruel death to the murderer which not only him but the generations to come wil also remember.

At last Jack walked away and it was time for the rituals to start. The speeches were given and throughout the ceremony, Javier did not utter a single word. Neither did he get up to give any words but stayed estranged from the rest of the world.

Charles and Sierra were worriedly glancing at the man beside them, so were Ryan and Ellen who were already understanding the matter with the man.

With the time passing, very soon came the moment when the coffin was supposed to be buried. Everyone wasn’t allowed at this time but the close members. They stood in the same cemetery where Javier’s mother was buried years ago.

The priests uttered words and Javier nodded his head. From behind, Sierra brought Ariana on Javier’s request. She was wearing a black frock and she gave her to Javier. Just as Javier held Ariana in his arms, his eyes lifted at the closed coffin.

Behind those glasses, there was grim. He had no words to express the turmoil of his mind but it shouldered the responsibility of raising his daughter now.

He wasn’t willing to let her go to the grave. His heart was pinched with the prague on the thought of digging a hole and she will be laid in the coffin forever. No, this was the least he was looking forward to.

She was gone from here two days ago. Jennifer wasn’t in this world anymore and he knew this perfectly. But the last hope still lay with her body. It will be broken and this would mean that it was the time to leave… the end of their relationship.

It was Ellen who patted Javier’s back and said, “Let her rest, brother. You will have to gain strength now.” Hearing this, Javier finally pulled himself out of daze.

He held Arian safely in his arms as the obedient child stayed quiet. She is only gazing at her father with her round eyes and softly, Javier walked toward the coffin near the digged hole.

His gaze never tore from the coffin even for a minor second as he felt his heart caged with the robes. The memories flashed in front of his eyes like a trail, their first meeting, how he kidnapped her, him professing his love and getting married. Her smile might haunt him forever now..

Javier bent down on his knees to place a white flower on the coffin and caressed its top with his hard hand. “I’m sorry my love.” He had no words but his right voice was filled with pain.

Finally he stood on his legs to look at the priest with his eyes and wore the glasses back to cover his eyes.

In front of his sight, he saw his life being kept under the ground beneath six feet. His hopes left slowly and finally the last pour of sand was finally covering the hole..

Was it the end? Was he never going to see her anymore? Has he lost his wife forever with his second daughter nowhere to be found, neither her body…
