Chapter 671 Fu Hua is troubled

Fu Hua wanted to leave for the washroom when Jia Li quickly pulled his hand to stop him from leaving.

Jia Li was feeling guilty within her. She slowly looked up at him to say, "I feel better now, so I will come to work with you."

Fu Hua released a deep sigh. He was really disappointed that she still wasn't telling him anything, but his love for her made him not be rude or act with the true emotions of disappointment and annoyance he was feeling at the moment.

"Finish your tea first, wash up and come down for breakfast. I'm going to check on Da Xia." Fu Hua said before slowly letting her hand go. Now instead of going to the washroom as he wanted before, he went outside the bedroom to check on Jasmine who was getting dressed for school.

When Fu Hua left, Jia Li finished her tea and heaved a sigh of relief. Next, she went to the bathroom to wash up before getting dressed for work.

On her way out, Jia Li met her little girl holding her father's hand and talking about adding her quickly.

"Jasmine!" Jia Li called out affectionately and walked towards her in quick steps.

"Mummy!" The little girl called out excitedly as she left her father and ran to her side to hug her legs. Jia Li had to lift her in her arms and shower her with kisses.

Fu Hua just stood at the side and watched the mother and daughter greet and chat affectionately for a few minutes before walking over. He took Jia Li's handbag.

"I will walk ahead of you too, don't be late." He said and walked off.

"Mummy, can I take some gummy bears to school?" Jasmine requested with a big smile. Jia Li couldn't say no to her cute little girl as she was infected by her smile.

"Alright, mummy will put a few pieces in your bag because of your teeth." Jia Li said in acceptance and pinched her cheeks gently.

Along the hallway, Fu Hua met his mother. He greeted her and wanted to walk past her, but she called him back. She noticed that his mood was off and asked about it.

"Why is your face like that?"

"My face? Don't I look perfectly normal?" Fu Hua asked with creased brows while wondering if his emotions could be seen from his countenance.

"Did you fight with Jia Li? Or did someone from work anger you, your face looks horrible." Fu, Her asked.

Fu Hua was quiet and tried to organize his thoughts before asking, "Mum, what do you think could be going on in a woman's life that she has to hide from her husband?"

From his question, Fu Hee guessed that it was the same situation he was facing with Jia Li. "Instead of asking me that question, why don't you ask your wife about it?"

"That's the problem, she refused to talk about it. Why can't she confide in me?" Fu Hua asked.

"If she doesn't want to talk, don't force her to. Allow her to tell you by herself, or you forget about it if she doesn't mention it." Fu Hee advised her.

"But I'm worried about her." Fu Hua said immediately and then continued with a big frown on his face, "This morning, she threw up, and her hands were shivering. I asked her about it and she said she was nervous and afraid. She refused to speak further about her concerns."

Fu Hee became worried and asked, "What is she afraid of, does it have to do with work? Is someone troubling her? Is the internet trolling her? Is she sick? Did you do something wrong to her? Hua, you have to take your wife to the hospital!"

Fu Hua wanted to complain about the several questions she was throwing at him because he had already told her that he didn't know what was wrong with Jia Li, but it was not important.

"She doesn't want to go to the hospital. She said she was fine after drinking a cup of hot chamomile tea."

"Then leave her be, I will try to talk to her when she comes back from work today." Fu Hee promised.

After breakfast that morning, Fu Hua dropped Jasmine off at school, while Jia Li left for the company in her car.

After the lunch break, Jia Li took permission from Sunny to go back home because she was not feeling well. Sunny immediately granted her the remaining hours off.

Before going straight home, Jia Li branched at a pharmacy and only came out 5 minutes later. Next, she went to Jasmine's school to pick her up, before driving home.

On their way home, Jia Li texted Fu Hua that she had already picked up Jasmine from school. Fu Hua git this text after he came to pick up Jasmine from school, but was told that Jia Li had already taken her.

Fu Hua was not surprised that Jia Li took her because he was already aware that she took the remaining hours off work. She didn't tell him, which didn't bother him much.

'What is she hiding?' Fu Hua thought to himself as he drove back home. He was very uncomfortable and decided that he must make Jia Li talk to him after he got back home.

At home, Jia Li helped Jasmine down from her car, and immediately, the little girl left her things and ran inside the house screaming excitedly. Jia Li was too late to stop her and had to carry everything by herself.

Her handbag, Jasmine's school bag, lunch box, and the nylon from the pharmacy.

As Jasmine ran inside the house, she collided with her grandmother and greeted her excitedly.

"Da Xia, who brought you back from school, is it our daddy, where is he? How could he allow you to run in all by yourself?" Fu Hee asked worriedly.

"My mummy brought me home," Jasmine said while pointing at the entrance door.

"Your mummy?" Fu Hee asked with a confused gaze and turned around to glance at the door, and it was at that time that Jia Li stepped in.
