The girl pouted even more, but she soon turn her gaze onto Jun.
Who is this, is he another human?”
“He’s my disciple, I need the second origin leaf for him.”
Under the emerald gaze of the little girl, Jun felt strangely exposed.
“Oh, it looks like he has some kind of physique. It’s not as weird as yours, but do all humans have strange physiques like this?”
The little girl floated from the tree branch to come closer to Jun and start examining him like he was the strange existence between the both of them.
“Not all humans have innate physiques, I was just lucky to find him.”
pαпᵈα-noνɐ1·сoМ The little girl stared at Jun for a bit longer then said.
“He doesn’t have a cultivation like you, how is he going to enter the Avian Tower when even you couldn’t?”
“I have a way, I just need to get in.”
The little girl hearing that frowned but she soon sigh and said while holding her hips.
“Big brother Shen, you have to promise that you will play with me before you leave.”
Li Shen scratched his cheek and said.
“I will, I promise.”
The girl seemed satisfied with that as she smiled happily before lifting her palm.
Her green transparent figure gain a bit of gold. This bit of gold moved from her chest to her palm, soon two small golden specs floated out.
And of course when Li Shen saw it first he couldn’t help but realize it look like a certain gluttonous white spec in his dantian. It made him wonder, but it didn’t show any reaction to it when Li Shen got one previously, and it wasn’t showing any reaction now.
But he did take note of her behavior toward him when they first met. She started calling him big brother while being extremely familiar with him.
After the golden specs floated from her hand, they released a resplendent glow and transformed into two golden leaves.
The little girl pushed her hand and they both drifted towards Li Shen who caught them.
“Many thanks!”
“Just keep your promise, Qiang is lonely by herself and has no one else to talk to.”
“Don’t you have a sibling brother, he-”
“Ah Ah Ah...”
Qiang suddenly placed her fingers in her ears and made noises so she couldn’t hear Li Shen.
“Qiang doesn’t want to hear about that ungrateful wretch, big brother Shen is the only brother I have!”
Li Shen hearing that declaration chuckled.
“I’ll return. Oh, and if you see someone like Jun could you allow him to meditate here if he chose to?”
Qiang wore a curious expression but she only nodded her adorable head.
Fei Yin was teleported into the West territory. Li Shen chose this place for him because of Qiang. He cultivated the Wood Qi so if he could reach here and cultivate then his gains would be astonishing.
He did the same for the others, with the only exception being Yang Su. He was in the Southern territory, a place that had ice caps as big as Mount Tai.
He wanted to curb his ever-growing affinity towards the fire element.
It might look like a benefit if his affinity grew, but later on, it might forcefully suppress the others and cause the balance of his Dao Foundation to shift.
Li Shen was careful not to let that happen, especially because of Yang Su’s strange bloodline. Fortunately, he created the best counter to balance it and that’s the cultivation he created for him.
As Li Shen left Qiang, the Tree Guardian as the inhabitants know her by, he couldn’t help but have his thoughts drift to the others. Even though he said he wouldn’t worry about them.
But this wasn’t his protective nature raring its head, but genuine concern if they were doing alright.
‘Sigh… I should be focusing on my cultivation now. I already found a way to finally prevent this gluttonous bastard from stealing my Time Qi. When I adsorb that Dragon Qi I felt that it went through a significant change, but most of all it was satiated.’
Li Shen realize it wasn’t the Dragon Qi itself but the fact that it was a Unique Qi. Though he guessed it depends on the quality.
With this knowledge, Li Shen concluded that all he had to do was feed it Unique Qi while he cultivate to breakthrough.
Li Shen didn’t want to admit it but this was the only option he could come up with. He practically have to occupy his Time Seed having it munch on Unique Qi so he could cultivate like a normal person.
Having to use such bizarre methods just to cultivate irked him to no end. Sure it looked like his Time Seed was changing due to absorbing that Dragon Qi but it had spat it out as if it was repulsed by what it had swallowed.
Li Shen almost felt like a parent that was about to force-feed his child vegetables while hiding away to chow down on a slab of meat. It made him feel dirty somehow.
‘I need a continuous flow of Unique Qi to keep it preoccupied.’
But Li Shen knew such a supply of Unique Qi was hard to find in the outside world. Unique Qi was fundamentally different from the six natural elements one would normally cultivate, as they permeated the world.
To have a source of Unique Qi one would have a cultivation method that transforms non-attribute Qi into it or create an artificial source. With those two options, its creation wasn’t enough for Li Shen.
However, while he was trapped here he found out about the Avian Tower. It had exactly what he needed, a supply source of Unique Qi.
The only problem was that there was a test he had to go through to enter. He wasn’t that interested in it before when he failed to enter since he was trying to survive and escape, but now all his focus was on it.
After leaving from under the tree’s canopy, Li Shen created a sonic boom as he shot towards the clouds above. It was already night as the sun fully set showing the dazzling stars.
It took him a few minutes to reach, but as he pierced clouds what was once night turned back to daytime.
Jun was blinded by the sudden bright light but once his eyes adjusted what came into view was a different world entirely.
“Huh? Where are we?”
Jun was so surprised by the sudden change in scenery that he wasn’t entirely sure he was in the same dimension.
Pavilions, a lot of them were seen on several floating islands. This seemed like the Palace of Gods in the Nine Heavens.
What was most eye-catching was four large statues.
One was of a Phoenix, a Vermilion Bird, a Dragon, and lastly a Kun Peng.
The sight was grand and they were positioned in such a way they were facing each other while roaring with ferocious expressions.
But most of which statue that drew Jun’s attention the most was the Kun Peng. His heart shook when he laid his eyes on it.
“You sensed it?”
Li Shen said, and Jun snapped out of his daze state to look up at him.
“What is this place?”
“It’s the Avian territory. This is where you will hopefully regain your cultivation, but you have to pass a test first.”
Jun looked back at the Kun Peng and determination filled his eyes.
‘This is it, where I’ll surpass everyone and become stronger.’
