Chapter 687: A New battle with New Opponent(1)
The weapon was kind of a whip but thinner and broader than that. As Aakesh waved the cloth, a sound of it tearing through the air rang in the area.
It was the first for Aakesh to use the weapon since it was a new addition to his arsenal. It was the first time Aakesh had seen it on his weapon shelf, and hence he had selected it.
Aakesh then returned his focus to the blue screen still floating in front of him. He didn’t even have to think to make a decision. He tapped on the screen, and the next moment, the blue screen vanished while a blue light spread across the battle arena.
When the light disappeared, Aakesh sighted his opponent for the day.
Aakesh then took a look at his weapon and then the opponent. He couldn’t know what to say the next moment. It was as if the system was mocking him.
The creature in front of him was Armadoran. It was a creature exclusive to the Sacred dimension..
The Armadorans were known for their extreme defenses. Not only did their skin negate physical attacks, but also magical and spiritual attacks as well. It wasn’t the end, as the Armadorans had natural poison resistance against the majority of poisons in the Multiverse.
It was also the reason Armadorans were on the verge of extinction in the Sacred dimension since their heart was a primary ingredient in pills and potions for poison resistance or antidotes. At the same time, their skin was a good material to forge them into armor.
At the same time, Armadorans were known for their peaceful nature. It was as if the Multiverse had created them to be a punchbag and a mountain of treasure for others.
“This is going to be tough,” Aakesh couldn’t help but mutter as he never expected to face this type of opponent, even in his rare dreams.
“How are you, strange creature?” Suddenly, the Armadoran opened its mouth and gently asked Aakesh. From the voice, the creature looked to be a male.
At that moment, whatever hope Aakesh had remaining from the battle dashed as if someone had poured a cold bucket of water on him while he was already dying from cold.
The female Armadorans would at least fight back since it was in their genes. They were the carrier of the next generation, so they would fight back once cornered, thinking of what would happen to their race if they didn’t mate and give birth to the next generation.
The male Armadorans was the complete opposite. They would never fight back. It doesn’t matter how much you hit them; they would just hide using their skin and only defend themselves.
The nature of male Armadorans was the primary reason behind them reaching the verge of extinction. They were the laziest, if not one of the most laidback creatures in the Multiverse. They did nothing other than mating and sleep all day long.
If not for the Armadorans high fertility rate, the race would have already become extinct since the male Armadorans was an easy piece of treasure for other cultivators.

“Do you know why you are here?” Aakesh expressionlessly asked the male Armadoran.
“Why do you love battle so much?” The male Armadoran couldn’t help but reply in a disappointing tone. Without waiting for Aakesh to respond back, it added, “The true fun is relaxing all day long and mating with different beautiful ladies.”
The Armadoran tone turned lecherous as he started imagining the scene of him sleeping with a different female Armadoran.
Aakesh’s face remained expressionless as the next moment, the familiar sound of the bell rang in the area and announced the beginning of the first battle for the day.
The aura around Aakesh suddenly changed as his grip on the cloth tightened. Hoping for the system not to play a joke on him, Aakesh waved the weapon.
It flew toward the Armadoran while releasing the sound of it tearing through the air.
The Armadoran seemed frozen in a single spot as if it wasn’t even able to see the cloth.
The next moment, a sound of stones cracking rang in the area as the cloth clashed with the ground.
Aakesh couldn’t help but get surprised as he never expected this kind of agility from the Armadoran in just the first stage of the battle. At the same time, Aakesh grew excited since the battle didn’t seem to be a waste of time for him now. In fact, he got a sense of this fight being even more challenging than the others he had faced until now.
“Why do you want to hit me?” The Armadoran didn’t attempt to attack Aakesh as it asked after dodging Aakesh’s strike. Its tone contained a hint of disappointment in Aakesh.
“Do you love killing-“
ɴ[0ᴠᴇ]ʟ The Armadoran still didn’t move and was speaking when its voice came to a sudden halt.
“Thud!”
The next moment, a crashing sound rang in the area as the Armadoran’s body crashed to the ground. Its head was missing, but it wouldn’t take a genius to find it since brain matter and blood could be seen spread across the arena not far from the headless body.
Aakesh, this time, increased his strength by a percent. It resulted in the complete decimation of the Armadoran.
The next moment, a blue light spread across the entire battle arena. Not long after, the scene came to a sudden halt as if someone had frozen time.
The next moment, the familiar blue screen popped out of nowhere in front of him.
Aakesh, without wasting even a moment, tapped on the screen.
Not long after, the arena became restored to its usual condition, while the male Armadroran appeared at the same spot where it had gotten hit on its head by Aakesh.
“Killing so much?” The Armadoran completed the question it wanted to ask but couldn’t due to its sudden death.
“Eh! I am alive,” The Armadoran didn’t give Aakesh any time to respond as the next moment, it exclaimed in surprise, seeing it alive and completing the question.
“Am I an Immortal?” The Armadoran then looked at Aakesh and asked him.
Aakesh had an expressionless face as he didn’t answer but only stared at the creature.
