Chapter 614: Worry and Excitement!

Since the quest was now complete, the feeling of rush disappeared. Aakesh decided to check his reward after closing the store.

One second passed, two seconds passed, three seconds passed, and just like that, several hours had passed.

Panagea’s first group had been there for six hours, so the system forced them out according to their entry sequence.

Hours earlier,

Anna had left the store without entering Panagea since her mind was too excited to think about anything other than the cultivation art she had gotten from the store owner.

Anna rushed straight away to her father since he was not only her family but also the trainer. If not for material problems, her father might have been some expert in the earlier Bisan Kingdom.

“Fa…father, I…I…I gained a gr…great rew…reward,” Anna told her father with a never seen smile on her face. Her voice broke in between since her emotions came in between while making the statement.

“First, calm down,” Her father, who was sitting on the bar in the Inn, commented, seeing her daughter in so much hurry.

“Come with me,” Anna did as her father told. She first took a deep breath and asked her father to come outside since it wasn’t the place to talk about such things.

The Inn didn’t belong to her father, but he just worked at a bar. Since he had some strength, the boss hired him.

Anna’s father wanted to say something, but before he could, Anna grabbed his hands and hurried him.

Anna’s father had no idea what was going on, but he still hesitated as leaving right now would be akin to taking a holiday and getting his pay deducted at the end of the month’s salary.

The father wanted to use that argument, but when he saw the mix of hurry and excitement on his daughter’s face, he decided to give up and left with Anna. No amount of money could match Anna’s happiness for him.

Anna brought her father to her home and then grabbed her mother’s hands.

Sometime later, the trio of parents and Anna appeared in the deep parts of the forest in Kakot.

“Can you finally tell what is making you so excited that you made me leave the work just when I had started?” The father smilingly asked.

Anna had an unspeakable smile on her face as she looked at her father.

She then took out the sword she had just bought from her space ring. Anna’s father had a look of surprise on his face since he had been complaining about Anna’s broken sword for days. But instead of listening to him, she had been splurging all her measly savings on the mysterious store.

Anna’s father wanted to ask, but before he could, his and his wife’s jaw almost dropped to the ground from what they saw.

After taking out the sword, Anna made a weird posture, where her right leg was in the air around the knee height, while the left leg was on the ground, but at the knee joint, she was slightly bent. Her left hand came from behind as it touched the knee. Her right hand brought the sword forward as it made a weird movement.

Anna’s mother and father looked at each other and could see the confusion in their eyes.

The reason for the confusion wasn’t the awkward posture but the white light that had appeared like a shield around Anna.

A drop of sweat slowly streamed through Anna’s cheeks as the posture looked easy, but due to an invisible pressure acting on her, she felt that a mountain was placed on her back while a needle was placed on the ground. It wasn’t only a physical battle but a psychological one as well.

Only two seconds had passed when Anna crashed to the ground.

Anna’s father rushed to her and gently picked her up.

Even though Anna was lying on the ground with a face full of exhaustion, there was a genuine smile on her face.

“Where did you get this from?” Even though there was gentleness in the hold of the father, the voice and the eyes acted differently. There was a sternness Anna had never seen in them.

Anna didn’t mind as she could understand the reason behind such a reaction from her father. If she were in his place, she would have acted the same after seeing her daughter getting such high-level cultivation art from nowhere.

Anna then told her everything that had happened to her today to her parents.

Anna’s father and mother had a look of surprise on their faces as they were also aware of the strange indifferent attitude of the mysterious store owner toward others. At the same time, there was also a look of fear in their eyes since they were now worried about the reason behind such action of the store owner.

The store owner had a status transcending even the King of the Bisan Kingdom, so if he wanted to harm their daughter, they wouldn’t be able to do anything to him. Instead, they would become enemies of others, so that many people would be able to make a positive impression on the store owner.

Anna could sense the thoughts going through her parent’s minds since she had already gotten used to it. Her parents would start thinking of the worst possible outcomes and get tensed whenever something happened.

Anna could only smile wryly. She then talked to her parents and calmed them down.

After a long conversation, the parents finally calmed down, but there were still looks of worry in their eyes. Anna gave up in her attempts to make it go away. If it disappeared, they wouldn’t be her parents.

“I would become the strongest and show the world that the store owner did no wrong by giving me the cultivation art,” Anna smilingly commented while looking at the air, but there was determination in her voice.

Anna’s parents looked into each other’s eyes and could only smile, seeing the same expressions.

“You will!”

“You will!”

The parents commented at the same time.

Anna only smiled and hugged her parents as she vowed to give them a life of luxury like other affluential families.

Time flew by.

Aakesh was relaxing on his chair when he sensed a new customer approaching him.
