Chapter 567: Sudden Situation!

Time flew by.

After Aakesh got his answers from the system, Aakesh started waiting for the sun to rise and the store to open.

One second passed, two seconds passed, three seconds passed, and just like that, three hours had passed.

Aakesh couldn’t help but get surprised as he had already spent more than seven hours on the continent and the world when he converted the time flow rate, while he had already spent three hours after exiting the portal, and the time flow was normal.

The night was nine hours long, but the sun was still nowhere to be seen.

Aakesh exited the store and appeared in the sky. Just from above the store, the entire dimension appeared in his eyes.

“Eh!” Aakesh couldn’t help but exclaim in surprise as he noticed that the entire Visteerna was in the dark. Not even a single sun had risen.

Suddenly, a piece of conversation Aakesh had with the system inside the portal rang in Aakesh’s head.

“Hey, system, do you want this fruit?” Aakesh asked the system as he had no use for the leafless fruit, so why not use it to exchange something that would be of value with the system.

[No, Host! The fruit could get used as the sun. It may provide help to you someday.]

The system’s response in its mechanical and emotionless voice rang inside Aakesh’s head not long after.

“I have no plans to create an inner world even when the store and I ascend to higher dimensions,” Aakesh muttered, but he still threw the fruit into his pocket space since the system had refused to commit an exchange with him.

The next moment, Aakesh found the ground shaking, and a space crack opened at some distance from him.

***

A surprised expression appeared on Aakesh’s face as he remembered the small conversation with the system after he had arrived on the first step.

“Is this the situation the system talked about?” Aakesh murmured as he took out the Leafless Fruit from his pocket space.

“Hey, system, what’s the situation with the sun here?” Aakesh asked the system in his mind since he wanted to know how the system expected this kind of situation to arise.

[Host, the eleven suns weren’t originally the sun. They had a different use.]

[Each of the eleven suns was a power source that dragged the power across the Primal dimension to power the place where Jamini, Vritrasura’s daughter, was bound.]

[When you freed Jamini from that bind, the power source dissolved on its own, resulting in the disappearance of all the eleven suns.]

The system informed Aakesh in its usual mechanical and emotionless eyes.

Aakesh nodded after he learned this new piece of information.

Aakesh didn’t expect anything less than a power source getting power from an entire dimension to bind Jamini.

As for why the system didn’t tell Aakesh, he didn’t think about it as the system had already informed him that he was on his own after the store opened in Kakot.

“Why did all the eleven suns rise at the same time, then?” Aakesh asked the system as having the same day and night for a world that was spherical didn’t make much sense.

[Host, it was set by the Deva that descends to Kashi. Only they know the reason behind it.]

The system responded. Aakesh could only nod as it was something that had to do with the Deva. He had no choice but to put it in the back of his mind.

Aakesh then took a glance at the fruit in his hands and then at the dark sky.

“You are going to cause chaos all over Visteerna,” Aakesh mumbled as he could imagine the tragedy and chaos the new schedule after the emergence of a new sun would cause across the Visteerna.

But since there was nothing Aakesh could do other than do it, he released the fruit from his hands.

The next moment, the Leafless Fruit flew toward the sky as if something was calling it.

In no time, it flew to the center of Visteerna.

Suddenly the fruit surface started peeling off. In no time, a spherical orange star appeared in the sky.

The people looked in the sky in shock as suddenly a ray of light appeared, resulting in the darkness hiding back to wherever it came from.

The fruit then continued expanding. In no time, the fruit grew to the size of seven billion lightyears.

It still continued expanding, only to stop when the size had reached one hundred and eight billion lightyears.

Aakesh had an expressionless face as he looked at the process.

“One won’t be enough,” Aakesh mumbled as even though the sun had grown to such enormous size, one won’t be enough to shine a light on the world.

It had only enough light to shine over one continent at one time, which would result in a troubling situation as there were eleven continents, and each had varied sizes. The night would grow too long and it would result in the destruction of the civilizations.

Aakesh was only thinking of ways when suddenly out of nowhere, a blinding light appeared and surrounded the sun.

Aakesh looked in surprise as the blinding light then started dividing the sun into separate entities while maintaining the same brightness.

A few seconds later, eleven suns appeared in the sky above Visteerna.

The sudden situation had caused tension all over Visteerna, so everyone looked toward the sky with concerned faces. It included everyone, irrespective of their race or strength.

“Thee didst Valorous!” Suddenly an unfamiliar voice rang in Aakesh’s ears, resulting in his hairs standing up across his body.

Even though the voice was unfamiliar, the tone wasn’t. It was the tone used by Devas whenever they spoke to other races. It meant the Deva staying in Kashi had talked to Aakesh about helping Visteerna with a new sun.

Time flew by.

After Aakesh sacrificed his Leafless Fruit, and with Deva’s help, Visteerna had its eleven suns again.

The rising and setting time for each sun was still the same for every continent since the Deva willed it.

Things returned to normal. Aakesh teleported back to his store since it was now time for him to open it.

It was after centuries for Aakesh, but for the inhabitants, nothing has changed. They still would be able to enjoy the store like usual.
