Chapter 350 – Clash

Chapter 350: Clash

The one-horned snake glared at Aakesh for the tone at which he talked, but it didn't reject Aakesh's order and charged at the red sun getting bigger.

The sun, perceiving the threat from the snake, released continuous flares to stop the charge of the snake before it reached its complete shape.

"ROAR!"

The snake, in response, angrily roared, and the flares disappeared before any could even touch it.

"Aum Furatan turam…,"

Aakesh suddenly heard a mantra while the snake was about to clash with the sun.

Finally, there was a change in his expressions since he could only stand and wait for the snake to disappear to attack.

"You should explode before the sun explodes," Aakesh telepathically suggested to the snake. Since the snake had its own intellect and was no less than Aakesh in it, he couldn't tell it what moves to make. He could only give it a sense of what to do, and how to do was completely upon the snake, so currently Aakesh was infringing that by suggesting how to end the battle.

"Boy, don't tell me what to do and watch a legendary attack."

The next moment, Aakesh heard an unfamiliar angry voice in his head. He didn't have to think who was the owner of the voice.

"ROAR!"

Another angry roar echoed in the area as the snake suddenly stopped its charge and began expanding.

In no time, it reached the size of the beast head and the fort, and soon it even surpassed that.

It only stopped when the fort looked like a dollhouse in comparison to its size.

While growing up, it also saw a being mockingly looking at it. The snake felt a surge of anger at that time, but sensing the undefeatable aura emanating from the being, it didn't dare to fight the being and did for what it had arrived here for.

The snake then opened its mouth full wide, and soon eleven energy spheres of different colors began gathering at the tip of its mouth, making a pattern of a circle.

Each energy sphere was of the same size as the sun and corresponded to eleven different elements.

The ruler on the top of the fort, watching the attempt of the snake with a mocking tone, suddenly had a change in their expressions. It was the pure expression of surprise as if they hadn't expected the snake to release the attack it was going to.

"Stop chanting," The being suddenly ordered.

The archers chanting the mantra were confused at first, but they didn't dare to go against the ruler of the fort, so they stopped right away, but they didn't put their bows down and aimed at the challenger, waiting to turn him into a porcupine.

Aakesh on the ground also had a surprised expression on his face, hearing the mantra, suddenly coming to a stop. He looked at the fort with a frown on his face, thinking of the reason behind the sudden actions.

The snake ignored the reaction of both the being that made it feel fear and Aakesh.

The circle of eleven energy spheres suddenly began rotating, and in no time the speed became so fast that it seemed it was still for the majority of the beings, including Aakesh.

The sun had also stopped growing, and it was finally ready for its attack.

"BOOM!"

The red sun exploded, and with it, a sound loud enough to shake even a universe echoed in the area.

Even the invincible defense of the fort looked like glass in comparison to the ground as cracks began appearing. It only stopped after several of the higher-level beings took action.

When the heat and force released by the explosion wanted to touch Aakesh or the snake, something unimaginable happened.

The circle of energy spheres that looked like an offensive attack at first, absorbed everything coming at its user and Aakesh.

Soon the disintegrated space repaired back, and the clouds that had dispersed returned. Only the cracked fort, the snake, the circle of eleven spheres, and Aakesh remained.

The circle of eleven energy spheres suddenly disappeared from where it was and appeared right above the fort.

The snake, on the other hand, had become illusory and looked as if it could disappear any time.

The soldiers on the fort from top to bottom looked at the circle with grave expressions on their faces. The soldiers then looked at the higher-ups, they in response looked at their higher-ups, and they in response looked at the ruler of the fort, waiting for his command.

The ruler instead looked at the circle of the energy sphere, while there was an incomprehensible smile spread across their face.

The heat and force the circle had absorbed a moment earlier, it released on the fort.

Previously they only had faced a hint of the force released by the explosion of the sun, but now that entire force multiplied by eleven times had been forced upon them.

The soldiers couldn't even cry in pain or feel what had happened to them, as soundless destruction appeared out of nowhere and took the lives of the soldiers.

When the destruction had subsided, the majesty of the fort was nowhere present, as barring a few portions where the strongest soldiers were present, all the other areas had vanished as if it was never there in the first place.

Similarly, out of several millions of the soldiers, only a few higher-level soldiers remained, and that too wasn't a large number and varied in hundreds.

After releasing the elevenfold force of the explosion, the circle had disappeared, and soon the snake also faded. But before leaving, it didn't forget to give a look to Aakesh for daring to tell it what to do, despite knowing its strength.

Aakesh didn't have the mood to enjoy the taunt of the snake as right after the killing and destruction to such an extent, Aakesh felt a danger he had never felt before coming at him from. He felt ants crawling inside his skin.

"So, for you, I am supposed to act as a training partner."

Aakesh suddenly felt his sense going haywire as a voice out of nowhere appeared and hit his consciousness like a hammer.

Aakesh's mental strength was stronger, so he easily suppressed the pain the voice caused to him and then looked at the sky, only to see a being floating in the air.
