Chapter 346 – Intrusion
Chapter 346: Intrusion
After the second group exited the portal, Aakesh ordered the last batch of 150 customers waiting for their turn to enter Panagea.
"Store owner, how do I take out the items I won in Panagea in reality?" One customer came running to him right after getting forced out of the portal.
Aakesh didn't even have to answer, as the next moment, the customer got greeted by a blue screen out of nowhere. Only Aakesh and the customer could see the screen, so it didn't cause any reaction to the other customers leaving the store.
The customer in question was an early Tao Manifestation and has been the customer of the store since the event, and he was called Jeffrey.
Jeffrey was also one of the few participants who had won a Panagea class on the second day of the event. He had won the class Sword Knight.
Jeffrey had already reached Level 10, and for the last three days, instead of completing the quests for gaining levels, were completing a quest that rewarded him with an inferior level sword.
But since it was a weapon that could grow, Jeffrey decided to complete the quest. At first, he thought he would be able to achieve the mission objective in a day, but instead, it took him three days to complete it, and now today, he finally won it.
It was the sword he wanted to take out in reality, as even in the actual world, it would stay as a growth weapon.
In the blue screen in front of him, Jeffrey could see the sword he had gotten as the reward, and next to it was the amount he needed to pay if he wanted to take it out in reality.
Jeffrey couldn't help but frown, seeing the price he needed to pay. To take out the sword, Jeffrey needed to fork out a thousand superior Primal stones.
He could buy several growth-level weapons in this price range, so it didn't make any sense to him.
Jeffrey then looked at Aakesh to ask him for the reason behind it, only to notice that Aakesh had his eyes closed.
"Store owner, don't you think a thousand superior Primal stones for an inferior level weapon is too much even if it's a growth weapon?" Jeffrey respectfully asked Aakesh.
"The store doesn't charge you anything more than the price is," Aakesh expressionlessly responded without even opening his eyes.
Jeffrey's lips twitched, hearing Aakesh's response, but after thinking for a second he noticed that there was no lie in what the store owner said. The price of the product sold by the store had always been equal to the value and ability of the item.
Thinking like this, he decided to fork out Primal stones. The next moment, the required amount got deducted from his superior card.
After the payment was done, the blue screen dissipated, and when it had completely dissipated, a sword similar to what Jeffrey had won took its place.
Jeffrey, with a hint of anticipation, grabbed the sword. A smile wider than the sea spread across his face as he noticed something peculiar about it.
The sword was only an ordinary grade sword for now, but if he were to bond with it, using a drop of his blood, it would automatically reach the Emperor-grade.
Forking out a thousand superior Primal stones for an Emperor-grade was no less than a steal for him.
"Thank you, store owner," Jeffrey thanked Aakesh and then left the store with his face filled with excitement and hurry since he couldn't wait to bond with the sword.
Time flew by, and a few minutes passed.
Suddenly a door floating in the air and not long after stairs connecting it to the floor appeared in the store.
Soon the door opened, and Lily stepped down the stairs.
After returning, Lily directly jumped on her favorite spot, the head of Aakesh, and began sharing her today's experience in Panagea.
Time flew by, and hours passed.
After defeating the darkness for hours, the sun returned to its former position, and soon the night took over.
The system also forced the customers out of Panagea since their six hours in Panagea were over.
The customers then left the store one by one, and in no time, only two people were left in the store, Aakesh, and Lily.
Aakesh took a step forward, went to the door, and closed it, bringing another day for the store to an end.
"Hey system, did you learn anything extra other than what we already know?" Aakesh asked the system. Around an hour earlier, there was another round of an attempt to forcefully intrude in the store.
This time also the intruders faced the same result. After learning everything they knew about the organization Nielle, the system erased them from the face of the Multiverse, never to even reincarnate unless a Deva personally intervened.
[No, Host. They also had the same level of knowledge the intruders from yesterday had.]
The system answered Aakesh in its usual mechanical and emotionless voice.
"Just what do they want?" Aakesh muttered, hearing the system's response.
The store had been facing a continuous intrusion attempt for the last few days. The number of intruders had decreased to four for the last three days, including today, but all of them had a similar level of strength, peak Immortals with an embryo of the divine physique. In numbers, their strength averaged forty million Primal units of strength, which would put them in the top bracket of the Primal dimension.
The store's door stayed open for the entire day, and there was no restriction in entering, so Aakesh couldn't guess the reason why they were choosing to forcefully enter the store when they could safely enter from the gate.
There was also another question in his mind. Why were beings with strength equivalent to top characters of the Primal dimension mindlessly followed an idiotic order when several of their fellow members with around similar strengths had faced tragic deaths?
Aakesh had attempted to ask this question to the system, but the system had straight away refused every time, and it only told him that he needed to find everything on its own without any help from the system.. And if he still wanted to know the answer, the system would consider the quest a failure, and then he would need to face the failure punishment.
