Chapter 280: Familiar Figures
"Store owner, I want inferior mental healing pills," The man said. He then looked nervously at Aakesh in the hope of a positive answer.
"Yes," Aakesh expressionlessly nodded. He then added, " The maximum you can have is three pills, so how many do you want?"
"Give me two pills, store owner," The man heaved a sigh of relief, hearing that the pills were in stock. Since his son was only a Qi Condensation level cultivator, even a single first-grade inferior pill would work on him, but to be sure, he decided to buy an extra.
As for three pills, it would become expensive since a pill cost 25 inferior Primal stones, and for quickly returning to Saktu, he still needed two ordinary Primal stones, so he found two pills to be his limit.
Aakesh expressionlessly nodded. He then stood up from his chair, went to the counter, and took two pills out from the first row.
"Fifty inferior Primal stones," Aakesh told the man as he handed him the pills.
The man had already taken out the number of stones from his space ring. Aakesh waved his hands, and the next moment, the Primal stones disappeared from the store.
"Thank you, store owner," The man sincerely thanked Aakesh. Even though fifty Primal stones for two inferior grade pills were costly for someone like him, his brother had hard pressed him to buy from this store.
Aakesh nodded in response to the man's thanks and returned to his chair. The man bowed, turned around, and then left the store.
No customers arrived for a while after that, so Lily and Aakesh began playing.
Since it had been weeks for them to play like this, they both enjoyed this relaxing time. Lily then began telling him about what she wanted to do in Panagea in the future.
Since the start, she had believed herself to be a ruler, so all the steps she would take in Panagea from now on would have to do with her conquering a territory.
Since Aakesh and the system had made a deal that Lily wouldn't affect the storyline of Panagea after she became an inhabitant adventurer of Panagea, she and any adventurer who would join her will lose the ability to fight for the inheritance of the ten Emperors.
There was no being in the Multiverse that Lily respected and loved more than Aakesh, so she discussed her steps in Panagea with him and also asked for his suggestions.
The first suggestion Aakesh gave to her was to leave the area around Wolfden, while Lily wanted to conquer the entire forest that surrounded the town of Wolfden.
Aakesh suggested her against it because he was going to sell the golden key and select a new Townhead. The citizen who became the Townhead will directly reach Level 50.
Since the wolf king was also dead, the Townhead will have no challenger in the area. If somehow Lily could grow equal to the Townhead in power without them noticing and defeating them, the efforts she would've committed to reaching there wouldn't be worth it. After all, Wolfden and the area around it was a low-level area.
The wolf king chose this area because he was a creature with a very low density of bloodline, and the highest level it could reach was going to be Level 100, so the area suited it.
On the other hand, Lily possessed the purest bloodline possible for any race. In addition to that, she was also an adventurer. She had no limit of how high her level could reach or what level of lifeform could she evolve to?
According to Aakesh, Lily was going to be at a loss in the end since whether she wanted to or not, she would have to go to higher-level areas.
She also had one advantage that the wolf king didn't have. She had unlimited revivals, and that allowed her to even start in a higher-level area without the fear of death.
But going to higher-level areas with the level Lily currently had was no less than torturing herself. So Aakesh suggested Lily leave for the city nearest to Wolfden. It was still a low-level area, but the highest power level in the area around it was 250, making it a better area for her to grow strong and then leave for higher-level locations.
It was all Aakesh's suggestions. He wasn't telling her what to do since Aakesh didn't want that. He wanted her to make her own decisions and decide what was best for her.
As for helping her physically in her pursuit of becoming a ruler in Panagea, Aakesh had already refused. The most he would help her is to suggest some ideas to her. Whether she wanted to implement it or not, it was her own decision.
Lily, with complete concentration, heard what Aakesh said. She wasn't going to do everything Aakesh had said, but it still felt good to her when someone like Aakesh, who rarely showed interest in anything, never refused her.
Aakesh, who easily gets bored of talking to others, did not get bored this time, and he continued offering suggestions on how she might grow. It was Lily that had gotten bored. Since it was her that had started it, she didn't know how to stop Aakesh.
Fortunately for her, they both heard the sound of footsteps.
Aakesh stopped speaking and looked at the door, only to see a familiar figure Aakesh had an interest in. It was Turta(The Earthen Troll) and Pucchi, his mother.
Turta looked weaker than his previous appearance, but he still had the smile he had when he had first arrived in the store. While Pucchi still had the same gentle look she had whenever she looked at Turta.
"Hey store owner, do you remember me," Turta asked with excitement evident on his face. He still remembered the sweet taste of the pill he had eaten that day.
Unfortunately for him, his mother didn't bring him back here by giving some excuses. Only today did she give in to his demands after he refused to eat anything if Pucchi didn't take him to the store.
Aakesh didn't look at the boy, but instead, he looked at Pucchi. Her expression indicated someone who had lost, yet she didn't mind the loss because she loved the person.
Aakesh stopped looking at her and nodded in response to Turta's question.
