Chapter 1277: Training and Panagea(1)
"Let's go!" Aakesh commented.
The next instant, a white light enveloped him, Lily, and Khaval, who was sitting on his head. Following that, they disappeared from the store and found themselves in the selection area.
Lily and Khaval went to the device, and after choosing their regular training area, they respectively pressed the button.
After Lily and Khaval had left for their training, Aakesh went to the weapon section, deactivating his senses.
He then repeated the same process he had been doing for centuries, and not long after, a space crack sucked him inside.
Aakesh found himself in the arena with the blue screen popping out in front of him. After he reactivated his senses, he understood what weapon he had with touch.
Weapons didn't follow a sequence; they were random. Aakesh had received a bow for that day of training.
He then tapped on the screen in front of him, choosing to start from the first round as usual. The next moment, a blue light washed over the entire arena, and his opponent for that day appeared.
In front of him stood a member of the Baltun race. The Baltuns were humanoid creatures with tall and muscular physiques. Their skin was red, and they had a pair of curved horns on their heads. Their eyes were chilly red, showing their brutality.
Baltuns were a strong race in the Primordial Dimension known for their strength and spear skills. These creatures were related to the Asuras, as they were one of the lowest-ranked followers of the Asuras.
Baltuns relished battles and the brutality in them, so when the creature saw Aakesh, it made the gesture of cutting his throat with a cruel grin spreading across its face. The spear in its hand alone was twice as thicker as Aakesh.
Thud!
It slammed the spear's bottom into the ground, creating a loud sound.
Ding!
The bell rang in the area, announcing the start of the first round. The Baltun didn't charge but brought its hand forward to throw its spear.
Before it could even complete its posture, it felt a huge gust of wind hit it. The next moment, the creature exploded into a blood cloud.
Thud!
The spear crashed to the ground with no one there to hold it.
The next instant, a blue light washed over the entire arena. After that, the familiar blue screen popped out in front of him.
Aakesh chose the same option he had been choosing for centuries. The next moment, the light disappeared, and the opponent emerged in the arena, perfectly healthy.
ραΠdαsΝοvεl ƈοm Ding!
Not long after, the bell rang, announcing the start of the second round. Aakesh acted the same as in the first round.
He aimed his bow at the opponent and released the bowstring after pulling it for a short distance. The same result presented itself, and the creature exploded into a blood cloud with the spear crashing to the ground.
Time flew by, and several minutes had already passed in the blink of an eye.
Ding!
The bell rang, announcing the start of the 200th round. The creature charged at Aakesh while Aakesh pulled the bowstring, aiming the bow at the charging opponent.
Before the Baltun had completed even one-thousandth of its dash, there was already an arrow nocked into the bow.
Aakesh left his grip on the bowstring, and the arrow flew at the opponent, tearing through the air. The arrow had only just left when another shot was nocked into the bow.
When the opponent was only half the distance away, more than five hundred arrows were coming at it.
The Baltun seemed unaffected by the arrows, and it waved its spear like a fan. Just the force released from that swipe was enough to throw many arrows away.
The battle had only begun between Aakesh and the Baltun. Both sides weapons repeatedly clashed, with Aakesh being the superior of the two all the time.
Time flew by, and several more minutes passed in the blink of an eye.
Ding!
The bell rang, announcing the start of the 251st battle.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
Metallic clashes sound repeatedly rang in the area as the Baltun's gigantic hands clashed with the arrows shot by Aakesh.
In that round of battle, the size difference between the two opponents was wider than a continent and a particle of dust. Despite the size difference, Aakesh was proving to be the superior party of the two.
251 rounds of battles had passed, but Aakesh was yet to receive a serious injury, let alone a life-threatening one. During the battles the previous day, Aakesh had received one serious deep gash in the 249th round.
The opponent he faced today was stronger than the one he faced the previous day. He also used the sword, which he was the best at.
It had to do with the weakness of Baltun's opponent. They were extremely strong, as it wasn't easy to become a follower of the Asuras. Even though they were at the lowest tiers, they were still better than the average power of the Primordial Dimension.
The only thing restricting the Baltuns was their speed. If Aakesh had a close combat weapon, he would have received a severe injury, but not when he had a bow. He didn't need to go close to the creature, and at the same time, he wasn't letting it reach him.
The battle was going on with full zeal, and it finally came to an end with one of Aakesh's skill shots piercing through the creature's heart, instantly killing him.
Ding!
The bell rang, announcing the start of the 257th round. The previous day Aakesh had lost the round, so if he won it that day, he would make a new record.
Aakesh seemed hopeful of that. The Baltun's strength had already crossed the level he could handle, but its speed was still something that he could handle.
The only thing Aakesh needed to beware of was staying far from the opponent and not letting its attack touch him.
The Baltun was aware of its speed weakness and strength advantage, so it immediately attacked with a skill. The next moment, a black glow appeared around the spearhead, devouring the light around it.
Aakesh didn't expect the creature to start with its ultimate skills, and Aakesh needed to act likewise.
He aimed the bow at the creature and began to pull his strings.
At the same time, he had begun his chant. Only an ultimate skill could clash with the skill released by the opponent. Aakesh wanted to first see how far he would be able to go without using his ultimate skill, but since the opponent was in a different mood, he had to reply likewise.
"... Tuvam Gachham Tram…"
As the chant progressed, a solemn aura engulfed the entirety of the arena, which covered a distance of several light years.
At that time, the entire spear had been covered in a dark glow in the opponent's hands.
As the skill's process came to an end, the opponent jumped upward and threw the spear. Space and time seemed to matter zilch in front of that raw power.
"... Jyotima Ma Tamsorgayam," At that time, the chanting had also come to an end.
The next moment, the light seemed to have entirely disappeared from the arena, turning the entire area into a pitch-black surface. It was as if it were the avatar of nothingness, nothing seemed to exist. No sense worked for even Aakesh.
At that moment, in the pitch-black arena, a small ray of light seemed to have emerged.
As soon as it emerged, the concept of existence seemed to have disappeared. Everything except Aakesh was slowly being erased from existence. It was slow yet quick.
As its senses had stopped working, the Baltun didn't even notice its hands had disappeared, and no amount of healing could bring them back. It was entirely erased from existence.
At that time, whatever remained of the spear clashed with that ray of light, forming a soundless, sightless, and senseless cataclysmic scene.
Everything seemed to have disappeared, as there was nothing but pitch-black darkness after the clash.
After what seemed like an eternity yet a second, the space restored itself. Aakesh and the opponent reappeared, with the arena nowhere to be found. They were standing in the void.
Aakesh's left shoulder had entirely disappeared, with no hint of injury on the remaining body. The opponent was in even worse condition. Its entire body, except for its head, was nowhere to be seen.
What was even more miraculous was that the creature was still alive with it looking fearfully at Aakesh. Aakesh didn't need to act anymore as the color in its eyes was slowly dimming.
What made the beast so frightened wasn't Aakesh, but when the clash of the skills happened, it was able to see what the ray of light was.
It wasn't simply a ray of light; it was the tip of a finger. When the beast had seen it, the erasing speed had suddenly exploded, leaving only its head after the clash.
After its eyes completely dimmed down, a blue light covered the arena, while a green light engulfed Aakesh.

The silence in the selection area suddenly broke down as the space began to crack and took the shape of a portal. Not long after, Aakesh stepped out of it.
Lily and Khaval still had some time left in their training, so Aakesh requested the system for their three chairs and then waited for his two favorite beings in the Multiverse.
