The First Store System

Chapter 1213 A New Customer!

Chapter 1213: A New Customer!

Tap! Tap! Tap!

Aakesh opened his eyes and turned in the direction of the store. The next moment, an unfamiliar face greeted him.

Outside the store stood a man, looking at the building with a mixed expression.

"Should I enter?" Magnus mumbled.

Magnus belonged to the race Gorkins, a member of the Demon group. To be precise, one of the overlords of the Demon Group

Gorkins was a race with a high number of Sacred Creators since the race was bound to the Sacred Dimension. Despite having a high number of Sacred Creators, the Gorkins weren't the strongest of the dimension, and it was all due to the inherent weakness of the race.

Gorkins couldn't stay awake for long. After every ten years, the members of the race would fall into a deep sleep, only awakening after a thousand years. Due to that, they lived in a closed society.

The Gorkins automatically cultivated even in a deep sleep, so their cultivation wasn't affected by

That. But once any member of the race reached the Sacred Creator level, their cultivation would stop growing, while at the same time, the duration of sleep would increase.

Other Gorkins were able to stay awake for ten years, then in a deep sleep for one thousand years, but for the Sacred Creator Gorkins, they would only stay awake for three years, while the sleeping duration would become ten thousand years. It was an inherent weakness the race was born with, and nothing could help the group overcome that. So despite having the highest number of Sacred Creators, the group couldn't become the most dominant force in the dimension and couldn't ascend to the Primordial Dimension.

But the high number of Sacred Creators in the race had ensured the safety of the descendants of the Gorkins. As they would sleep more than stay awake, there weren't that many members in the race, and there were also those who had survived several epochs in the group.

Since the number was low, the members of the race were overprotective toward each other, ensuring a close-knit society where everyone treated each other like they were blood-related. Only the Sacred Creator of the race had the freedom to leave society and travel outside.

But since Magnus wasn't a Sacred Creator level cultivator, it was extremely tough for him to leave and come here.

The reason Magnus came here was an epiphany he gained in his deep sleep. In a deep sleep, Magnus shouldn't have seen a dream or gained inspiration, but it happened to him the previous day.

It also made him wake up before the fixed thousand year cycle. It was extraordinarily uncommon in the Gorkins that someone woke up before the fixed limit. Before Magnus, there had been only six known instances of something like that. What followed after that was a secret only known to the Sacred Creators.

Since Magnus had gained an epiphany about the store and woke up before the set time, he decided to check it out.

But after that, followed the struggle to leave the planet and come to the store.

It was filled with struggle, but after putting in a lot of effort, he succeeded in leaving the planet. Magnus knew he had no time since when the awake leaders found out about his disappearance, they would come here searching for him.

"Let's see what you bring!" Magnus muttered and took a deep breath. He then stepped forward, soon stepping inside the store.

As the Gorkins lived in close-knit societies and their lack of staying consciousness for a long time, their knowledge of the outer world wasn't that high. Similar was the case with Magnus; he didn't even recognize many of the races he came across on his journey.

The same was the case with the stone flooring of the store. Magnus found it familiar but couldn't put his finger on what it was. He then stopped thinking about it and focused on the blue-skinned store owner.

In his epiphany, Magnus had only seen the building and its directions, so it was his first time seeing the blue-skinned store owner.

Two more people were sitting on the chairs next to Aakesh, but Magnus became confident with only one glance that the blue-skinned man was the store owner.

He then walked forward, ignoring the novelty of the store. He looked like other Gorkins did. Extremely tall, with broad shoulders, pale skin, a standing nose, and a pair of eyes with a combination of gray sclera and black pupils. These features were common with many races, and what made Gorkins unique from others was their hair.

The Gorkin's hair color was black, but what made it unique was that it stood like needles, and the tip was blood red as if it was dipped in blood.

"Hello, store owner!" Gorkin greeted Aakesh. He could see that Aakesh's cultivation was only an early Divine Being, but believing that Aakesh was hiding the actual cultivation from others, Magnus used a respectful tone.

Aakesh silently nodded in response to the man's greetings, as usual. He was slightly surprised by Gorkin's appearance in the store when the man wasn't a Sacred Creator, but he didn't waste time thinking over it.

"Store owner, I am Magnus. I had an epiphany about the store in my deep sleep. Why is that?"

Magnus decided to ask Aakesh directly what made him have the epiphany. Since Aakesh owned the store, there was no better person to learn about just what influenced him to have that inspiration.

Aakesh nodded since the system had told him that some customers who have great fates would come to know about the store in their dreams or by other incomprehensible means.

"There is something in the store that holds the power to change your fate. It's the element of fate working to bring you to the store," Aakesh responded.

"As for what holds power to change your fate, only you can find out on your own," Aakesh added before Magnus asked him for the item that might help him.

Even Aakesh didn't know that; only the system knew that. And Aakesh's authority wasn't that high to get an answer from the system about it.

Magnus stopped the question he was about to ask since there was no point in after Aakesh's second response.
