The First Store System

Chapter 1160 (1) The Sixth Product(14)

Chapter 1160: The Sixth Product(14)

Fidena was already aware of the store's products, but hearing them directly from Aakesh assured her of her decision even more.

Like the majority of the customers, she wanted to go to Panagea but was left with disappointment at the end since all the spots for the Panagea were filled for the day.

There were other products, and she wanted to buy them for the Deramac she brought here, but since there was a limit, she decided to come back tomorrow early morning with all Deramac and hope for everyone to get a spot in Panagea.

"Thank you, store owner!" Fedina then thanked Aakesh and turned around to leave.

"She is clearly trying to push the Geratic crystals on you," Katrina commented after Fidena left.

"I know, but what does it matter? It's not like I care where she got the crystals," Aakesh responded with a smile.

"What if she stole them, and the original owner of the crystals came here to ask for them back?" Katrina asked, but the next moment, a smile spread across her face. It wasn't as if she didn't know Aakesh.

There was also the fact that the contract signed between the lender and borrower made a clear distinction, as one of the clauses to borrow money was that there needed to be complete ownership of the item.

Complete ownership of the item didn't mean that it excluded snatched items. As long as none of the other people related to that item weren't alive in the case of snatching, the customer was the complete owner. The store wasn't a court to distribute punishment or rewards for the actions of the customers.

"Why didn't you let me ask her where she got the item? Don't you know how poor I am?" Katrina then complained, remembering her mistake.

Aakesh only smiled in response to Katrina's statement and then closed his eyes.

Seeing Aakesh ignore her, Katrina scoffed and also closed her eyes.

"Did she run away?" The man, seated on a chair, asked.

It was a tall man that looked like a small mountain even when sitting. The man belonged to Feralics, the race that conspired against Darmac.

"Yes, your majesty, the woman has left with her best talents of the race," The man, kneeling in front of the chair, answered.

"Your majesty…"

The man wanted to speak but struggled to inform the King of Feralics.

Derit saw the hesitation and fear in the man's eyes, so he gestured for the man to speak without fear.

"Your majesty, that woman dug out some of the Geratic crystal before running away," The man looked upward after informing Derit, but he couldn't help but become surprised when he saw a smile appear on Derit's face instead of anger.

"She didn't disappoint me. Now, she would live in fear of me, whether I would come to her to take the crystals back," Derit laughed and commented.

"How much did she take in total?" Derit asked, the smile continuing on his face.

"Around ten kilograms."

The smile on Derit's face froze; his eyes almost popped out of their sockets.

Tap! Tap! Tap!

Aakesh was relaxing on his chair when he heard the sound of footsteps coming from outside the store. He opened his eyes and turned in that direction.

The next moment, a familiar face entering the store greeted his sight.

"Hello, store owner," Francis greeted Aakesh with a respectful smile.

Francis was a customer that entered the store on its fourth year, and he was also one of the few to win an event related to the Divine Lord Beast contest.

He was a regular at the store, but he had stopped coming to the store in the past year.

Francis was a peak Higher God cultivator when he came to the store. Around a year ago, Francis was devoured by a space storm due to his misfortune.

It also came as a fortune for Francis as the space storm took Francis to ruin.

The ruin belonged to one of the settlements left by the now-extinct Chaotic Wyrms.

Fortunately for Francis, it was a settlement for one of the weaker branch families of the Chaotic Wyrms.

eαglesnᴏνel To leave the ruin, Francis had to clear the hurdles and find the exit point. It was a lot of struggle, as only in the first challenge Francis almost died due to one mistake he made.

Francis had to sacrifice the beast he bought from the store to save himself. Francis didn't want to do that, but when the Silver Sparrow saw the situation, it willingly chose to sacrifice itself to save him.

The sacrifice came as a rude shock to Francis, who had been sailing positively since he entered the store.

After the first challenge, Francis became extremely cautious, and every step he took was after he was completely confident.

After the death of the beast, the card hadn't disappeared, so Francis held a slight hope in his heart that the store would help him revive the beast.

What could have taken him weeks to clear took him months, and after a long hustle of several months, Francis succeeded in finding the ruin's exit.

Things weren't over for him since he needed to find the store after coming out since he had no idea where the exit had brought him or how far it was from the store.

It took him around a year to clear the ruin and find the store, but finally, he was here.

Aakesh silently nodded in response to Francis' greeting. Aakesh didn't even need to see the card to realize that Francis' Silver Sparrow was dead. The system informed Aakesh as soon as Francis stepped inside the store.

The respectful smile on Francis' face disappeared, and a solemn expression took its place as he took the card out.

After the death of the Silver Sparrow, the beast's illustration from the card had disappeared, and a blank space replaced it.

"Store owner, is there a way to revive the beast?" Francis asked. It was taking everything mentally for him to stop himself from breaking down while speaking.

After the question was over, Francis felt heavy, as if someone had placed countless mountains on his chest, when he looked at Aakesh, waiting for an answer.
