"Pick the one that complements you the most."

Jason stared at the description of his new class and couldn't help but reveal a grin.

He went with his gut.

[Prurian Beast Summoner]

Pure Magical Class

Four Digit #9633 | Unique Class

Base Attributes:

+2 All Basic Attributes per floor

+40 AP per floor

Effect of all basic physical attributes +25%

Effect of all basic magical attributes +50%

[Class Traits]

[Casual Caster]

[Supportive Summoner]

[Permanent Dimensional Crossing]

[Beastly Experience]

[Prurian Bond]

[Summon Space]

[Summon Analysis]

[Comrades in Arms]

[Prurian Prodigy]

Jason took a look at his new class in shock and excitement.

His eyes carefully scanned the nine listed traits.

The effect was even better than he'd hoped.

Well, they didn't call it a [Digit Grade] class for nothing!

For each floor, Jason would receive an increase of two points to his basic attributes.

This alone would be extremely important on higher floors, when his attributes had reached such a height that a single increase might cost 1,000 AP.

Moreover, the 40 AP per floor would help him a lot on lower floors as well.

Plus, Jason had no doubt that the class bonuses would increase at set intervals like Otto had mentioned…

As for the 25% and 50% enhancements to his attributes, Jason was a bit less enthusiastic.

Well, he understood why they were generally sought after.

But his excitement dimmed slightly only because he remembered Otto's whopping 200% enhancement...

Jason excitedly read down the list to take a look at his class traits.

[Prurian Restriction]

Prurian Summoner is only able to learn Prurian exclusive or Summoner exclusive spells. Summons restricted to beast-types.

Jason nodded.

This was something that was clear when he chose the class. Plus, the other choices had been the same.

He had an odd feeling that his class was a bit of an elitist in this regard…

[Casual Caster]

Mental Power required to cast and move spells reduced by 50%

Focus required to cast spells reduced by 25%

Intuition requirement for Prurian spells reduced by 33%

Intuition requirement for Summoner spells reduced by 20%

So his Prurian spells would not be too hard to cast, then right?

Jason was thrilled.

He wanted to get into real fights! Not sit on the sidelines and cast spells from behind his summon!

[Supportive Summoner]

Buff spells restricted to summons.

Duration of all buff spells +400%

Effect of all buff spells +100%

This trait meant that even a terrifying buff that was only meant to last for ten seconds in combat would extend to almost a full minute.

And its effect would be doubled as well…

Combine that with the potential of adding one of Mirabelle's buffs as well, and Jason's summons would be complete monsters on the battlefield.

[Permanent Dimensional Crossing]

Summoner may form a permanent bond with summons to allow them to stay in the summoner's home dimension. Effect is permanent.

Costs no mana to sign.

Costs no mana to upkeep.

[Beastly Experience]

Bonded summons grow over time, with training, and by clearing floors.

[Prurian Bond]

Evolvable Class Trait | White

Summoner will grow as bonded summon gets stronger. Summoner is granted 5% of the attributes and 1 chosen trait from each of up to three bonded summons.

Summoner can sever the bond at the cost of a 2 month duration of 'moderately weakened' status and losing the attributes and trait from the bond.

If summon dies, summoner must endure a 4 month duration of 'severely weakened' status and losing the attributes and trait from the bond.

[Sacrifice]

Summon can sever the bond with the summoner's consent at no cost to the summoner. Summon will lose their life in exchange.

[Reverse Sacrifice]

Summoner can choose to exchange AP for a summon to undergo instant evolution. AP exchanged corresponds to the strength of the evolution.

Jason read through the details of this trait again and again, not daring to miss a word.

His eyes narrowed.

So this bond could grow stronger if evolved, right? Moreover, it was possible that because it was an inherent feature of his class, the evolution requirements would be lowered compared to the evolvable personal traits.

It was only…the two skills at the bottom made Jason feel a bit sad.

He sincerely prayed that he would never have to experience either one.

His eyes slowly worked their way down the list.

[Summon Space]

Evolvable Class Trait | White

Creates a permanent virtual training space that can hold up to 3 summons.

Summons can rest in this space permanently.

[Training]

Spend mana to train with summons for one hour. Summoner spells level at 25% speed and cost no mana to cast in summon space.

Summon learning speed improves dependent on the amount of mana used.

[Decoration]

Spend mana to improve the summon space permanently. Improvements include cosmetic changes, size of the space, food, drink, materials and herbs. Depth and breadth of improvement depends on amount of mana spent. Permanent improvements are more costly.

[Interdependence]

Spend mana to recover summon health, stamina, energy or mana inside the space.

Jason's eyes practically shot sparks as he imagined the potential of this space.

It was clearly another core trait of the Prurian Beast Summoner, and Jason could see its potential immediately.please visit

If he was in the middle of a tough battle while one of his summons got hurt, it would be no problem to recall the beast into his summon space, slowly injecting mana to recover their health and injuries.

Moreover, if he spruced the place up, his summons would have a beautiful environment they could call their own!

But the list went on.

[Summon Analysis]

Summoner can learn everything about the attributes, evolution potential, combat prowess, and future combat prowess of a summon.

[Comrades in Arms]

All basic physical attributes +50% when fighting alongside a summon.

[Prurian Prodigy]

All Prurian spells level 100% faster.

"YESSSS!!!"

Jason finished reading his class traits, raised his fist, and hollered as loudly as he could manage inside such a drab grey room.

"WHOOOOOOO!!"

How could he not?

These traits were AWESOME!

There were even TWO evolvable class traits!

Jason couldn't wait to begin fighting alongside one of his summoned beasts.

Think of all the buffs he could get!

His future fights might actually be fun!

Jason continued to shout and yell in excitement for a solid five minutes.

Honestly, after passing the [Tutorial], some sort of reality had set in for him.

He had come so close to dying there.

Even with how well his brother had set him up, Jason had almost carelessly lost a life.

It was a massive wake up call.

The cold reality of the [Tower] world where danger lurked around every corner was beginning to sink in.

So the importance of these traits and attributes were magnified many times over in his mind.

Jason also looked forward to one thing more than anything else.

Meeting a summon.

It was the biggest reason why he'd chosen [Prurian Beast Summoner] over [Argas Beast Summoner].

Actually, Jason had almost gone with his rational mind and chosen the [Argas Beast Summoner].

Everything about the class had suggested it was the more powerful of the two: it had a higher ranking, and it repeatedly mentioned battle power in its list of strengths.

What had eventually convinced Jason was a single line.

It was not even a 'strength' of the class, but a weakness.

"Requires heavy investment into summons."

Jason was willing to bet that no matter how many other summoners existed, out of them all, he could give his summons the absolute best investment.

With the support of his brother, he could raise his summons to bring out their absolute maximum capability.

And Jason felt that this class, with permanent summons at their maximum, would end up being much stronger than any [Argas] beast he would be able to summon at the same level.

Well, it also didn't hurt that he was looking forward to working closely with his summons…

[Mission Rewards]

2. Stabilization Suit

Jason quickly retrieved all the rewards.

There were only three in total.

A small cube inscribed with hundreds of white runes which dimmed and glowed alternately every second as well as a small black suit that covered his entire body appeared on the floor.

The suit was so small that Jason even doubted it would fit on his body…

But then, without even inspecting or looking at his series of rewards, Jason asked to leave the [Neutral Zone] as fast as he could.

He wanted to get back to their rented house!

He couldn't wait to tell his brother about his new class!

A screen appeared before Jason left.

[Choose your Destination]

Erkolls-13

Toto's location, [Area 1 Exit Pavilion]

Jeremy/Julia/Elliott's location, [Area 1 Exit Pavilion]

He raised his brows.

Did the [Tower] usually give people a choice as to where they wanted to go?

Nevertheless, Jason selected his brother's location at the Area 1 Exit Pavilion and calmly waited.

The little gray room regained its quiet as Jason's body slowly disappeared…
