46 Cheating

After school at night, Shi Jing waited at the door of Shi Man’s classroom early. Seeing her come out, she didn’t talk to her much. After leaving everyone’s sight, she asked casually, “Manman, why have you been ignoring me recently? Are you still blaming me?”

Shi Man sneered and did not answer her. She listened to her nagging expressionlessly.

“I really know my mistake. I feel very guilty. That’s why I committed suicide last time to make it up to you. If you still blame me, I can only die to apologize!”

She spoke sincerely with a sad expression. Anyone who saw her would think that Shi Jing had suffered in the Shi family.

Shi Man’s disgust for her deepened, but she did not do anything to her. She let others spread gossip about her and Shi Jing.

At the school gate, it was her eldest brother, Shi Ke’s turn to pick her up today.

When he saw Shi Jing following behind his sister, he frowned slightly and personally opened the passenger door for his sister. Only then did he unhappily agree to Shi Jing getting into the car and going home together.

The difference in their treatment was like heaven and earth. The surrounding students saw it clearly and felt that Shi Man was unruly and willful. She even made things difficult for her cousin!

Shi Man took in their expressions coldly with a relaxed demeanor.

Go ahead and scold her. The more they scolded her now, the more it would hurt in the future. This was Shi Jing taking the initiative to add the chips in her favor. How could she waste her good intentions?

In the backseat, Shi Jing put away the guilt on her face and looked at Shi Man in the front seat jealously.

She thought to herself that she would let Shi Man be smug for a few more days. After the exam results were out, everyone would know that she was much better than Shi Man!

In the blink of an eye, it was the day of the monthly examination. There was a special examination hall for this examination. There was only one student sitting in each row to prevent cheating.

After Shi Man received the test paper, she glanced at it and saw the extra letters behind a question. She narrowed her eyes dangerously and smiled meaningfully.

The teacher from Class S, who was in charge of the invigilation, had been staring in Shi Man’s direction. When she saw the smile on her face, she couldn’t help but shiver.

How strange. She was actually afraid of a piece of trash and was stunned by her smile!

The more she thought about it, the angrier she became. Hu Jing walked down the podium unwillingly and deliberately lingered beside her, wanting to see if she could really answer the question or if she was just pretending.

Shi Man sensed Hu Jing’s intentions and openly showed her the test paper. Every question here was too simple for her. Yesterday, during class, not only did she memorize all the highlights drawn by Su Tang, but she also memorized the rest that Su Tang had yet to explain.

She had always had a photographic memory, so it was not difficult for her to learn such simple knowledge herself.

Hu Jing passed by a few times but did not succeed. When she finally caught a break, she subconsciously slowed down and her gaze lingered on Shi Man’s answering area for a long time.

After reading the answer on her test paper, Hu Jing couldn’t help but gasp. She looked at Shi Man in disbelief and her shocked gaze suddenly met Shi Man’s playful eyes. In the end, she was the first to lose. Her back was covered in cold sweat as she almost fled back to the podium.

When she returned to the invigilator’s seat, Hu Jing was still panting guiltily. Shi Man’s gaze was too cold just now, and even she, who had always prided herself, could not withstand it.

She was clearly a scum who only knew how to chase after men and embarrass women, but she actually had such a terrifying aura! Moreover, the questions she had just done were all right. This meant that not only were her academic results not bad, but she was even more outstanding than the students she had personally taught!

How was this possible?

Unless…

A trace of disdain flashed across Hu Jing’s eyes. Unless someone was helping Shi Man cheat!

The more she thought about it, the more she felt that she had discovered the truth behind why Shi Man was no longer as timid as before.

Since the Shi family dared to help their daughter cheat, they should not blame her for exposing Shi Man in public and completely cutting off the Shi family’s idea of sending their daughter to Class S!

Her class definitely could not tolerate such a poor student!

After the exam ended, Hu Jing came down to collect the papers. When it was Shi Man’s turn, she deliberately knocked on her table meaningfully and sneered. “Don’t think I didn’t notice that you cheated. Just wait and see.”

“Cheating?”

Hu Jing’s voice was neither loud nor soft, and the students in the examination hall could hear her. They immediately looked at Shi Man with disdain and mockery.
