In the bottom left, Ang Lee stood up with an excited and bashful smile, embracing Xu Ligong and others around him before heading to the stage.

On the awards stage, holding the Golden Globe for Best Director, Ang Lee said with a shy smile, “This is surprising, unbelievable, I simply cannot express how I feel right now. I have to thank my ‘formidable’ wife!” The crowd immediately let out a chuckle, and Ang Lee continued with a smile, “She is the exemplar of every female character in ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon,’ except for Jade Fox.
