183 A good husband grants his wife access to his phone, hehe

So how would Zi Han rate his first visit to a friend’s house? Well, he kinda had mixed feelings about it. That’s because so much happened after that bath.

After changing into Yi Chen’s clothes which barely fit, by the way, Zi Han thought he should leave. Now that he knew Yi Chen was okay he could have peace of mind. But who would have thought Yi Chen would yet again convince him to stay? And how did he do that? Quite simple actually.

Yi Chen wasn’t good with words but when it came to flirting with and convincing Zi Han it was like an instinct. When Zi Han suggested he wanted to leave Yi Chen grabbed hold of his wrist and pulled him a little closer.

With a thirty-centimeter distance between them, he said, “Why so early? I bet if I check my light brain right now. I would find no less than twenty missed calls and at least forty messages. Am I lying?” while rubbing Zi Han’s wrist with his thumb.

Zi Han tried to take his hand back before responding, “You think too highly of yourself.”

Yi Chen broke into a charming smile before replying, “Then let’s check,” while pulling him over.

Zi Han who knew that it had to be more than that panickingly held his arm stopping him from checking.

“I, I will stay. Just lend me your light brain then I will stay,” he said recalling all those terrible messages he sent including ones of him cursing while declaring that their friendship was over. He wasn’t proud of himself. His behavior was unbecoming of a Zi family member. Thus he planned on deleting the evidence. What he didn’t realize was that his entire family was like him. They did the very same thing especially when it came to someone or something they liked. It’s just that he had never seen it before.

Yi Chen immediately agreed. Like a ball and chain, he kept holding on to Zi Han and led him to his bed. He resolutely unlocked his light brain and commanded, “Raylan, register new biometrics.”

.....

Zi Han, “....”

“Security level, sir?” it asked as it began to register Zi Han’s biometric data.

“Highest level,” he replied staring at Zi Han’s awe-struck face with a blissful look in his shimmering eyes.

“Yes sir. Registration completed,” replied Raylan before the room fell into silence for a moment.

“Why? You.... Do you know what you just did?” asked Zi Han with that light brain starting to feel hot in his palm.

To fully understand the significance of this one needs to take a light brain as a person’s entire life. That means access to the property, finances either as stocks or in a secure vault, mechs, medical records, family information e.t.c.

It was the lifeblood of every citizen of the Federation and granting another person access was like trusting them with your life. And Yi Chen who was the most cautious person had just granted Zi Han access to his light brain.

Considering his current position and status in the Federation anyone other than his parents shouldn’t have access to his light brain at the highest security level.

Actually even they didn’t have full access because he was hiding something from them. What he was hiding doesn’t even need to be mentioned.

“Don’t overthink it. I secured my messages to the highest level so you need that kind of security access to read them. I will remove it after you are done,” he said as he lay down on the bed.

All I can say is, “Lies, lies, lies.... all lies.” His messages weren’t that secured. They were at level one access because he had nothing to hide and two he was never going to revoke Zi Han’s access to his light brain. He just said it so that Zi Han will feel less pressure. Yes, he wasn’t proud of himself for lying but he thought it necessary.

Zi Han felt a sense of ease as he opened the chat interface on Yi Chen’s light brain but before he could delete the messages Yi Chen pulled him over and his body lay next to Yi Chen on the bed.

“Lie down with me for a minute or two, okay?” whispered Yi Chen his eyes sluggish.

Zi Han whose bottom line had been lowered several times today just stared at him with a ‘what the fuck’ type of expression. At this point, he might as well adopt Yi Chen. It was like raising a troublesome version of Mr. Twiggles.

“Come on, please. I will let you have your baby for a week,” said Yi Chen negotiating terms.

“Sigh.... two weeks. Now move over,” he said before lying next to Yi Chen.

Yi Chen smiled happily as he slid his hand on Zi Han’s waist to pull him closer.

Pa!

With a hard smack on his hand, Zi Han reprimanded him”, Keep your hands to yourself.”

Yi Chen, “...”

What was the point of sharing a bed if he couldn’t even cuddle him? The last time they shared a bed Zi Han was so drunk that he kicked him a couple of times.

He had fallen off the bed twice thus he could no longer be polite. He hugged Zi Han to sleep confining him in place. Zi Han still tried to get out of his hold but failed.

Yi Chen was sloshed then as well but he remembered everything. “What’s wrong with me hugging you a little? It’s not like you cared before. Who was the guy who barged in while I was showering and downplayed it?” said Yi Chen his voice lethargic and sensuous making one’s ears itch.

Zi Han pressed the tip of his tongue against his inner cheek feeling slightly irked. “Fine just this once. If you dare go overboard I will leave,” replied Zi Han not even certain why he felt so tense all of a sudden. He never used to care. Maybe it was because of those weird dreams he had been having. They had been putting him on the edge.

Zi Han lay down on his back while scrolling through the chat interface looking for his chat history so he can delete it. It seemed a lot of people had been looking for Yi Chen recently.

He didn’t want to snoop but dang some of these contacts had girl names on them with one of them even sending a heart emoji. Zi Han pursed his lips and found his contact name.
