Just like the Normie King had calculated in his mind, Zayn didn't take up too much time to become a Soul Adel. Forming Soulframes was an easy task for Zayn and filling them required ownerless soul particles which could be derived from Soul Wisps or absorbed through Soul Orbs.

Both were provided by killing other beings and taking everything from them, whether it was their physical body or the remnants of their Soul.

The Demonlings attack, which the Normie Union labeled the Natural Selection War, had yet to stop. It was uncertain how many Demonlings died over the course of the last two months but the Normie King, Zayn, and his Army of Spirits killed more than 100,000 Demonlings.

They stopped counting but it was quite obvious that their slaughter left behind a big hole in the defense of the Demonlings. However, the only traces left behind from their battles were blood splattered across the battlefield, and the destruction the Spirit Army caused to the surrounding area.

No corpse was left behind, not even severed limbs!

Glutton devoured everything and it produced Soul Orbs in the millions. Zayn absorbed all of them to expand his Spirit Army and to grow stronger.

With five Soulrings, Zayn was already much stronger than before. He could fight and defeat most members in the Normie Union, and the number of Blessed who could fight him head-on had decreased drastically as well.

Nobody his age could face him anymore, and the number of youngsters with similar combat prowess could be counted with one hand. Probably only the prodigies of the strongest families could handle him as long as he was alone.

Fortunately, Zayn was not alone, he had never been.

King, Champion, the Berserk Gigas, and the Gigas became much stronger. Zayn allowed them to practice the Mercur Catanis Martial Arts technique. Practicing the Unarmed martial arts technique combined with the constant absorption of soul particles, the Spirits of the Green Giant race were able to increase their strength in two ways.

First, they gathered tremendous combat experience by applying the Mercur Catanis technique in real battles. They practiced it in the training hall and applied what they comprehended in battles against the Demonlings. Second, the constant use of soul particles to practice the Mercur Catanas martial arts increased the Spirits' natural soul particle recovery. Making use of this, the Spirits could increase the number of soul particles they absorbed over a short time.

Making use of this, the Green Giants created a strategy that allowed them to accumulate more soul particles in a short period while increasing their combat prowess by mastering the Mercur Canatis Martial Arts!

The number of Green Giant Spirits didn't increase anymore but their power certainly did. The average of soul particles accumulated inside the Green Gian Spirits amounted to two completed Soulrings and approximately 90% of a third Soulring. That meant they were not even Soul Lords; however, a single Green Giant Spirit was able to deal with a Demonling with three Soulrings without any help!

Berserk Green Giants were even stronger. They had enough soul particles amassed to create 3 Soulrings and 20% of a 4th Soulring, and they were strong enough to deal with Mid- and Late Lord-rank Demonlings! Once they went wild using their Berserk trait, even two or three Demonlings at the same rank wouldn't be an issue to deal with.

There was no need to mention the Giant Champion and Giant King. Their combat power was the highest. Both finished their fourth Soulring, but that didn't mean they could only deal with ordinary Demon Overlords. They controlled the army of more than 700 Green Giants and formed a unit strong enough to obliterate thousands of Demonlings in a single battle!

And that was not where Zayn's Spirity Army ended. He still had Herculean, Berserk, Tera, Glutton, Saber, Tank, and Aero.

Herculean, Berserk, Saber, and Tank were moved over to a newly created unit of Spirits. Zayn added them to lead the Daemons Unit. He called them Deamons Unit even though the Unit's force was mainly composed of wingless Demons without elemental affinity. They focused on close combat, which was something Herculean, Berserk, Saber, and Tank were best at.

Meanwhile, Tera and Glutton moved to the Sorcerer of Doom Unit. It was also a new combat Unit, whose force was mainly composed of Demons with Darkness and Fire affinity. There were also a few Demons with unique affinity, but they were a minority, just like the few natural Archers Zayn found in the ranks of the Demonlings.

The Sorcerer of Doom was a long-range attack unit with exceptional firepower. Their numbers were the smallest among the three new units, but they were not to be underestimated.

The third new unit in Zayn's Spirit Army was called Dark Wings. As one could figure from the name, winged demons were the combat force of this unit. Aero was part of the Dark Wings as well, using its wind affinity to enable more flexible maneuvers in the air.

They were also the highest in number because most Demons Zayn fought were winged.

In total, there were round about 5,000 Dark Wings, 2,000 Daemons, and 500 Sorcerers of Doom. That meant Zayn had more than 8,000 Spirits in his Army if all of them were combined.

The Daemons were the strongest in close combat. Most Soul Overlords had been manifested without wings, which resulted in the average combat prowess of Daemons being at the Soul Overlord Rank.

Meanwhile, the Sorcerer of Doom had only an average of three Soulrings even though their combat prowess was much higher.

Last but not least the Dark Wings Unit had amassed as many soul particles as the Green Giant Spirits. They could defeat beings with three Soulrings each, but they were not yet Soul Lord!

Zayn didn't realize how many Spirits he had at first. Only the day before the 60 days mark since the Demonlings initiated their attack on human territory did he learn how many Spirits his Army had. After all, a fight that would have taken an hour two months before ended within minutes.
