460 Let’s cultivate

[The effects are beneficial. I highly suggest getting ten if it doesn’t cost too much. I wonder how much stat boost you can gain.]

-I like the effect too. I hope I can grow stronger in a short time with the potion.-

“I want the Bloody Heart Pump. How many points does it cost?” Vincent asked.

“Really, Sexy boy?” Honey became surprised. She thought Vincent didn’t know the catch, so she explained, “Only ten can be taken in a lifetime because the effects lose potency by one-tenth every time. The eleventh potion will give no benefits.”

[Ten times is still valuable, I say. As the saying goes, every drop counts. ]

“I still want one. ” Vincent said.

“Could you also tell me the point price of the vigor potion as well? I have twenty-one points on this card.” Vincent believed combining both potions could provide maximum benefit.

“I have eighteen points if it is not enough.” Lilith offered.

“Bloody Heart Pump costs three points each because it is the most unwanted potion in my shop, while vigor potion costs five points. ” Honey answered.

.....

Vincent turned around and looked at Lilith. “Can you help me buy ten Bloody Heart Pump potions? You will have nine points left.” He asked.

“Okay, dear. ” Lilith replied with a warm smile.

“I... I was mistaken!” Honey exclaimed. “I thought sexy boy could be swayed, but now I can see a bond of unbreakable trust.”

*Cough* “Can I know your name, respectable boy?” Honey requested.

“Vincent Lionheart.” Vincent pointed at Ester, Iris, and Lilith. He introduced them as his wives. On the other hand, Lupa whimpered because Vincent couldn’t introduce her as his wife.

*Clap* “Ohh my! A harem! I always wanted to see one in front of my eyes.” Honey became happy all of a sudden. She smiled as if their happiness was hers. “Okay. Hand me your cards, and I will exchange the potions for points.”

Honey received the cards and looked surprised to see a coded message on Vincent’s academy card. She looked at him and said, “I am sorry sexy Vincent. But the alchemist is currently busy because of the test, and he can’t meet with you. He has to make a lot of potions and many orders to complete.”

“I am not in a hurry.” Vincent turned to Lilith beside him and asked, “Didn’t you want to buy a potion?”

Lilith blushed. She nervously looked at Vincent, Ester, Lupa, and Iris. “D-do you have a s-slimming p-potion?” She nervously asked.

“I only have one remaining, but it isn’t here. It will expire soon if I remember correctly. Fortunately, the ingredients will arrive next week, and if the alchemist isn’t busy, he should be able to make a few of the most favored potions.” Honey answered. She gave Lilith a ticket, but on it was the number sixty-six.

“Does it mean my wife is number sixty-six in line for the potion? Also, how much does it cost?” Vincent became concerned Lilith couldn’t get the potion she desired.

“Yes, sexy Vincent.” *Wink* “And the potion costs six points. However, I can bring the potion about to expire next week and sell it to lucky girl Lilith for half the price.” *Wink*

Lilith became happy to hear about this. She couldn’t wait for next week to arrive.

[I didn’t think potions were going to have an expiry date. They are magical, but not as much as I thought. Heh...]

Vincent stored the ten potions and thought how games were easy with never expiring potions. The knowledge Vincent and Kazumi had about potions was quite different and unrealistic.

-This is real-life Kazumi. They are magical to us, but they are ordinary costly commodities in this world.-

[Yeah. But I am still bumed potions exprire. They work like pills from Earth, but with better effects in higher grades.]

Later, Vincent and his wives left Paradise Island without meeting Kilo Blackheart. It felt like a blessing in disguise because they had a great time without someone annoying them.

Vincent spent until night arrived meditating to improve his mana because he felt it was better to rest his body for tomorrow.

*Day 125 – 11 October – Sunday*

Sunday arrived, but Jun Ye Rim wasn’t on team ten island with them. Maria mentioned something about there being a procedure to let her leave with the Lionheart Family, but she didn’t know much about it.

It was rare to have students offered the possibility to leave every Sunday. Giving permission to someone who isn’t a part of their family probably never happened before.

Later, they arrived at the outer gate. Sofy was already waiting for them, and the horses appeared to be rested.

Sofy arrived earlier than usual, but something was out of the ordinary about her expression. She looked nervous and uneasy.

“Did something happen, Sofy? You look a little uneasy. ” Asked Vincent.

“N-no need to worry. Today Sakura was very happy. She was the first one to wake up, and she stayed with us in the morning.” Sofy said. She looked at Vincent and continued, “Will you ever want my maid service?”

[Is this why Sofy is acting strange? I guess we might have to consider the elf with a professional level of whipping services as a candidate for my.... your harem.]

“...” Vincent was at a loss for words all of a sudden. He tapped on Sofy’s shoulder and told her, “Let’s go home.”

Maria saw Vincent and Sofy sit on the front seats, and Ester, Lupa, Iris, and Lilith, with Plow between her arms, enter the carriage. *Sigh* “What do the girls find interesting in Vincent? I can’t understand” She shook her head and questioned in a low voice.

*Emerald Lionheart Mansion*

The carriage stopped in front of the mansion’s entrance door. Sakura, Tula, Leah, Clara, Beth, Olive, and Lian were waiting for them.

Vincent jumped down, but his feet never landed. Sakura caught Vincent and gave him a passionate *Crack* bone-breaking hug.

“Vincent, I missed you!” Sakura said she would show her affection to her man with a killer hug.

“Sakura. Would you mind releasing me? You forgot to control your strength again.” Vincent felt embarrassed when everyone looked at him.

“Ohh, no! I did it again!” Sakura released Vincent and retreated a few steps. She looked ashamed to injure Vincent because of her excitement. “I missed you so much... but I ended up hurting you again...” She said.

[Hmm. The demon mask you let her keep is attached to her waist.]

Sakura noticed Vincent lower his gaze. She followed his eyes and figured he was looking at the mask.

Sakura grabbed the mask and gave it to Vincent while saying, “The mask is done. What do you think? I finished enchanting it last night.”

.

[Name] Wood Demon Mask

[Condition] Undamaged, Flawless, Enchanted

[Grade] Uncommon

[Description]

A flawless wooden mask made by Sakura. The expression of intimidation and fear envisioned as the mask was created allows the wearer to threaten their opponent.

[Effect]

*Minor Intimidation Intent Acceleration

*Minor Murderous Intent Acceleration

*Minor Durability Enhancement

.

“You managed to enchant its durability! This is awesome!” Vincent praised Sakura for her first enchanted item.

“I hoped you would like it. Now I am happy to have succeeded after I spent days failing on ordinary wood. I think this is what sister Lilith told me about. I think it was the power of love. ” Sakura said. She and Lilith raised a thumbs up at each other. It appeared Lilith was already influencing everyone with her beloved romance books.

“Ahem.” Vincent cleared his throat and grabbed Sakura’s hand. “How about we visit your workshop?”

Sakura smiled. She moved her head and saw Ester, Lupa, Iris, and Lilith smiling at her. They supported her with their smile.

Vincent reached the workshop’s door. He opened the door and said, “Let’s cultivate.”

“Huh?...” Sakura questioned before she saw Vincent drink a potion and pull her inside the workshop.

Kazumi thought it was going to be a boring day for her. She left Vincent’s body and explored until the range limit was reached.

Fortunately, Kazumi’s travel distance increased. Kazumi thought the better Vincent’s mana control became, the less mana resistance she would have to travel to her heart’s content and the less mana used.

Kazumi saw Lilith and Maid Xu drinking a cup of tea. Her curiosity overcame Kazumi, and she went to overhear their conversation. However, Lilith was telling Maid Xu what happened, so Kazumi lost interest and left.

Next, Kazumi saw Lupa energetically sparring with Lenn and Renn. The twins moved differently, and their flaws decreased. Even their gaze didn’t waver as much as it used to when sparring against a wild wolf girl.

Ganni was sitting on the porch. He was looking at the three sparing and nodded when the twins made a mistake. Kazumi figured Ganni was helping the twins train and probably let them spar against him.

Kazumi went to the kitchen and saw Ester, Yula, Zefine, and Grace talking. The curious Kazumi went to overhear their conversation.

Kazumi was surprised when she overheard how Grace decided to learn cooking from Yula. When asked, the reason was quite simple. Cooking had the least dirt and the leastways for a person to get sick.

Kazumi continued to travel, and she began to feel the resistance of mana. She understood the distance limit was about to be reached soon.

Fortunately, the guest hall was nearby. She entered and saw Tula, the five children, Sofy, Marika, and her daughter Alice having fun with Plow, Tusk, and Nix.

[I don’t see Maria and Bessy. Maria might have gone to the fountain again while Bessy is probably outside taking an order.]

[I hope Bessy can keep her word and provide three scrolls.]
