“That went a lot better than I thought it was going to.” Goddess Jasindia said when the portal closed and Nat and I stepped into the white space of non-space.
“How much energy does it take to create a space like this, or is it like a little pocket dimension that all the gods use?” I asked as I let Nat go and looked around. My upgraded auto-identifier didn't give me any information and neither did the Map and Search spells. In fact, all of the previous information they had given me was now gone.
Goddess Jasindia gave me a slightly concerned look. “It's like a waiting room, to use a term that you would understand.”
“Ah, I see.” I said and nodded. “That would definitely let you set up travel from one place to another much easier, since we're just 'waiting' to go to the next place.”
Goddess Jasindia smiled. “That's right.”
“I'm glad.” I said and turned back to Nat. “I'm very happy to have met someone like you, Nat.”
“What? Gay?” Nat asked with a laugh.
“Yes, that's exactly why I enjoyed your company so much.” I said with my own laugh and gave her a hug. I had a quick flash of Divine Sight and stopped my sigh from escaping. I hugged her a little tighter and whispered in her ear. “I'll keep my promise, even if you don't remember me.”
“Wh-what?” Nat whispered back.
I let her go and gave her a sad smile, then walked over to the goddess. “Go ahead and send her home.”Goddess Jasindia gave me another concerned look. “I had planned on sending you both home at the same time.”
“You and I have a few things to discuss.” I said, quite pointedly, and she nodded slightly.
“Thank you for your help, Natalie.” Goddess Jasindia said and her hands glowed. “I'm sorry that I can't let you remember any of this.”
“NOOO!” Nat yelled and then she was frozen and couldn't move. The shocked look on her face disappeared and then her eyes glazed over. Her body glowed for several minutes as she was depowered, then the summoning circle appeared below her.
____
You have learned the Power Absorption spell. This spell allows you to absorb all foreign energy in another being.
Addendum: Devour It Whole has been upgraded. While you could absorb the physical stats and abilities of the things you consume, you can now also absorb their power and potential.
You have learned the Memory Modification spell. With this spell, you can see and edit the memories of anyone that you had previously used your magic on. It does not create new memories.
You have learned the Memory Creation spell. You can create false memories and believe they are actually real, unless you add too many odd and fantastic details. Memories then become Dream Memories. Memories can be inserted into other people with the Memory Modification spell.
You have learned half of the Summon spell. This part undoes the binding to another world that allows a being to remain, despite not being from that world and / or reality.

Nat's body faded away and the summoning circle disappeared.
“You didn't let her keep her love for Paula.” I said.
Goddess Jasindia sighed. “I couldn't. She would regret it for the rest of her life.”
I chuckled. “Yeah, you gods and goddesses have no idea what we can handle.” I reached out and grabbed her arm.
“Hey! Let me... gooooo...” Her words slurred as I used the Power Absorption spell on her.
“I was going to.” I whispered to her. “Until you hurt my friend.”
“Wh....what... are you... doing... to... me?”
“I am absorbing some of that wonderful foreign energy you have so much of.” I said and gave her a smile. “Thank you for giving me the spell.”
“N-no... I... how...”
“I gained a lot more from the dragon than I thought I did.” I said. “Don't worry, I'm not going to use my class ability on you.”
Goddess Jasindia let out a relieved sigh.
“I think I have enough now.” I said as my stats peaked at 9999.
I was a little surprised that I wasn't reeling from the massive boost, until my own enhanced mind told me that once I had surpassed a certain threshold of power, it was just numbers. Also, this waiting room didn't have the same physical properties of reality and I could do things here that couldn't be done anywhere else.
“I'm going to regret leaving here, since I can't keep this power when I do.”
“S-s-safety measure.” Goddess Jasindia whispered as she slumped. “Stop... someone from... fleeing with... stolen power.”
I nodded and took her into my arms. “I believe I made a promise to you.”
She looked at me in confusion for a moment, then she gasped.
“Millennia of not feeling good must be very frustrating.” I said and tried to cast the Memory Modification spell on her.
“Ha... you can't... my mind...”
“It's too strong right now.” I agreed. “How about when I do this?” I asked and then activated my Beast Conversion skill.
“What... what are... ohhhhhhh!” Goddess Jasindia moaned as her body started to change. Her stylish boots popped apart as her feet became talons and bright white feathers sprouted out all over. Her hands partially morphed into talons and her hair started to grow plumes of white feathers intermixed with the strands of hair, which also changed to white.
She writhed and struggled, so I tore open her dress and she let out a relieved sigh as the cloth fell to the floor that wasn't a floor and left her naked. Large feathered wings grew out from her body and along her arms, then extended out past her wrists to end in huge wingtips.
My hands were on her lower back and I felt feathers sprout out there and glanced down to see large tail feathers grow out. I looked back at her face and it had distorted slightly and became wider as her nose took on a distinct hooked beak shape. Feathers accented her cheeks and when she was fully changed, she had become an eagle. A completely white eagle.
“Beautiful.” I whispered, quite truthfully, and she looked shocked as she felt me grow hard against her. A mirror appeared behind me and Goddess Jasindia stared into it and at her beast self.
____
You have gained the Mirrored Surface spell. This spell creates a surface like a mirror of any size and shape you desire. The more mana added, the longer it lasts.
____
“I... I'm...” Goddess Jasindia couldn't put it into words, so I helped her.
“The embodiment of the most beautiful and majestic bird to ever grace the skies of my world.” I whispered to her and moved out of the way, while still holding onto her. “I wondered why there were no avian beast strains on that world, and now I know.” I kissed her cheek. “Look at your magnificence.” I whispered and kissed her cheek again. “No mortal could ever become like this.”
“Wh-why... why would you...”
“Because of the millennia of boredom you've had.” I whispered. “What better way to alleviate that than to enhance and change your body to give you an entirely new experience?”
She looked surprised again and then I smelled her grow wet for me.
“I'm going to make love to you now.” I whispered to her and stepped back in front of her.
“I... can't see...” Goddess Jasindia said, her face slightly red.
“Allow me.” I said and waved my hand. Hundreds of mirrored surfaces completely surrounded us. Above, below, and all around, in a perfect sphere.
She gasped at the display and then she stared at me.
“Slow the passage of time, please.” I whispered and she cast the spell. I gained it and gave her the same professional supermodel smile that Angel used. “You are not going to be ready for this.” I said and cast the spell again.
“I... I... I know.” Goddess Jasindia whispered, then I was inside of her and she screeched her pleasure.
For weeks.
I hadn't intended to go that long; but, her mind was extraordinarily resilient until she came for the millionth time. Yes, really. It was then that her body finally relented and all of the tension left it as she fell asleep. Her mind was an open book for me now and I easily retrieved the memories that she had taken from Nat. I also retrieved the memory of her summoning us. Or rather, me. She could cast the spell as a group or individually, and could also undo it as a group or individually. It was quite the versatile spell.
I gained the first part of the Summon spell and felt it settle into my mind. I also felt the goddess start to come back to her senses, which meant I couldn't rummage around for more memories of spells. I quickly added in the memories of her depowering me and taking my own memories, then changed her back from her eagle form and stored all the down and feathers she had shed during our fun time together.
I ended the mirror surface spell and then used Stillness on myself as I put the same blank expression on my face that Nat had. I suppressed all power output as if I was hiding my class and waited patiently as the goddess slowly recovered.
“Uggghhhhh.” Goddess Jasindia groaned and sat up. She rubbed herself between her legs and moaned a little, then she sighed sadly.
I could clearly tell that she was disappointed that she was back to normal.
“Dammit, I didn't save the Beast Conversion skill first before taking the memory of it from you.” Goddess Jasindia said as she stood up and her clothing formed around her again. She smiled at me and touched my face. “It's too bad that you'll never remember making love to a 'magnificent' goddess.”
I didn't respond or react and she didn't expect me to, since I looked like I was in the same state that Nat had been in.
“I must admit that you were right, Damon.” Goddess Jasindia whispered as she looked down at my still naked body and erect penis. “Being changed first did give me new feelings and experiences.” She looked back at my face and gave me a kiss. “Perhaps I will call upon you again when I have need of you.”
The summoning circle appeared below me and she stepped away.
“I may even give you some of your memory back the next time I see you.” Goddess Jasindia said with a wicked smile and completed the spell to send me home.
I disappeared from there and reappeared in the exact spot that I had disappeared from six months ago, only this time there was a heavy shadow of a completed building to cover me. I was also feeling quite diminished with all of the goddess' stolen power having been left behind. I sighed as I equipped a set of normal Earth clothing, shirt, jeans, socks, and work boots, then walked away from the building.
It was very early in the morning and no one was around, so there was no evidence that I had just mysteriously popped up from nowhere. I used a Detect spell and no cameras were pointed towards me, so I walked normally down the street. I wasn't in a rush, even though I was gone for six months. It was a hell of a lot shorter than it had been the first time I had been summoned and yet it was still a long time.
I knew my friends and family were going to be upset that I had 'gone travelling' without warning and didn't come back until now, and I would have to deal with that when the time came. Right now, I had a very late appointment with a particularly pretty woman that I had missed very much... and I also had a lot of apologizing to do.
