Spirit Soul

Chapter 289 Mentally Unstable Witch

Idun was levitating in the air. She sneezed a few times as a cold draft brushed through their silky black hair.

Her eyes squinted as she looked in the direction Kyle and the others were located.

"These annoying bitches are talking about me, aren't they?" Idun cursed out, lifting her fist in a threatening manner.

"You guys are wasting so much of my time…" She continued to curse out, only to quiet down after a while.

"Well, at least I'm no longer imprisoned. That's one big bonus point…How long has it been since they caught me, either way?" Idun mumbled while her attention swept through the surrounding.

While the Eternal Prison had been extremely boring to the extent that Idun shut off her mind, there were a few times the Oracle looked for her. She tried to convince Idun to do something and to help the Universes or something like that.

In exchange, she would regain freedom. It was only obvious that she accepted such a deal but the last few months had been quite boring. She was never able to use her power, which was something her entire existence felt like doing.

It may not be much for others but if a Witch didn't use her powers, they would grow weaker and weaker. Numerous years passed since she had been imprisoned and she was itchy to test out how strong…or weak she had become.

"I still wonder if there is some truth about this annoying prophecy… The bitch of an Oracle might have told me about it, but it's not like I can make a lot out of it…" Idun was talking to herself like always. If there was nobody else to talk to for eons, one would start talking to oneself.

Idun knew her mental state very well but she didn't care about it, even if it was a much bigger mess than one could imagine.

She felt like obliterating everything and everyone at some point and wondered why the Origin would betray her and give her enemies permission to access the Eternal Prison. She felt lonely but there was nobody by her side. Everyone she had ever trusted was either dead or had betrayed her.

There was actually no reason for her to keep living and she attempted to end her life every so often.

However, the 'Blessing' of Immortality was actually a curse if the wrong people received this 'gift'.

For Idun, it was a blessing at first. She loved her life, even if there had never been many people she cared about. Many tried to hunt her down for the Blessing of Immortality. They wanted it for themselves.

After all, even if their soul was destroyed, it was actually impossible for her to die. She fought, came out victorious, and became stronger. Idun continued to learn, improve her knowledge, and mastered her powers through everything she learned and comprehended.

However, there had still been a hole in her heart, something that could never be filled.

The Origin's betrayal was just the final spark that brought her down and the only hope that prevented her from losing everything was the existence of the prophecy.

It was impossible for the Oracle to lie, and her prophecy had never been wrong until today. Idun's last ray of hope was a few phrases that didn't even rhythm. Some words spoke by one of the many existences she loathed…but they were the only thing that made her feel that there was something….someone, who could save her, give her the love she wanted to fell…

Sighing deeply, Idun could clearly hear the Oracle's prophecy in her head,

"Immortal Witch, remember what I will tell you. You may feel like everyone abandoned you, and it may seem like you will never be able to feel love again but let me tell you one thing; life is balanced. If you encounter something bad, you will inevitably encounter something great. Your misfortune has been accumulated, and your time inside the Eternal Prison combines all the fortune you will receive at once when the time is ripe.

Now don't at me as if I'm a bitch, and listen you ungrateful brat!

When Chaos spreads through the Universes, the Eternal Prisoner is to be released.

The Planet of the Universe will face destruction. A favor will be given to the Savior of Infinite Growth.

When the ruby moons rise over the crimson sky, the Eternal Prison will retrieve her freedom.

Her fated one will reach out to her, saving the woman blessed by the Curse of the Origin.

When their Universe will be devoured, the Eternal Darkness and the Undying will be the only ones left alive.

Their life will be intertwined, their actions tremoring through the Universes.

When the Veils open, the terror of all Universes will be unveiled.

Whether everything will cease to exist or continue will be decided by those who are able to change Fate.

Only they can change what cannot be changed."

Hearing the Oracle's word in her mind once again, Idun sneered. She felt like punching the old hag but it was not as if that would help her in any way.

"This Infinite Growth it probably that dumb idiot, who acts like an eunuch. He has three beauties by his side, who obviously like him but he has no intention to pounce at them. What a waste of his little brother…" Idun thought shaking her head.

"Either way, I will be given a favor for saving him…this will probably mean I will get out of the Eternal Prison when I'm done, or sometime after… The only issue is what the ruby moons  and the crimson sky mean." Like usually, Idun was bothered about the content of the prophecy.

It didn't really make much sense but it was not as if anyone would help her figure out more about it.

"My fated one…well that part is great because I'm obviously the one blessed by the Cursed of the Origin," Idun giggled like a small child when she spoke about her fated one.

She never had something like that, and being exposed to fresh air made her feel like she was actually free…almost as if she could starting for her fated one.

Unfortunately, it was not possible for her to leave behind the man, who was labeled Infinite Growth by the prophecy.

The eunuch-like handsome boy survived well on his own, thus Idun felt like it was a waste of time for her to be there.

"Just let me search for my fated one… I want to see him!!" She screamed out. However, it was just at this moment that she noticed something when looking in the direction Kyle and the others were located.

"Oh?!" Idun's expression changed at once. She turned serious and ignored her earlier thoughts that were similar to that of a little girl, who was spoiled and dreaming about something that would never happen, to begin with

"How come they still exist somewhere? I thought that the Guardians eradicated all of them…Is there still a Universe, who is not capable of taking care of them?" Her golden eyes were glowing brightly.

Idun's mood had already been bad lately. She was not allowed to intervene in the life of the existences on Shima. No interventions except rescuing the Infinite Growth was allowed.

However, the unpredictable situation in front of her was a bit different. The flying beasts the Nasga were riding on were not something that ought to exist anymore.

Anyone and anything was allowed to hunt them down. In fact, orders existed to eradicate them wherever one was located. Idun didn't care about these orders but she felt like doing something except playing the nanny of some eunuch-like being.

"Finally, I can let loose a bit!!" She spoke under a dazzling smile as she took into account that there were lives on top of the vile existences that she was not allowed to touch.

"If I use that it will be fine…probably," She mumbled, only to wave off her hand,

"Well, who cares?"
