Frosty pressed her attack with pin-point accuracy, raining blast after blast of her powerful Glacial Beam down on the Hegemon, who struggled mightily to block them on time.

Even though Frosty’s Glacial Beam attacks were like a like baby poking her mom with pin-pricks, it still drove the Hegemon hopping mad with its strangely accurate hits which hit her sensitive parts and made them freezing cold.

“What sort of demonic technique are you using?!” She snarled rather demonically herself with her eyes turning bloodshot red as she tried every technique at her disposal to break free from Frosty’s Darklight Energy enhanced Freezing Field, but in vain!

Frosty ignored her and continued on with her barrage.

Even though she had no hope of actually killing her opponent, like the rest of her brothers and sisters, she was simply focused on fighting her opponent.

Obedience meant that she did as instructed without having to fully understand why and despite seeing no clear resolution to the orders she was asked to execute!

Rex and Winter were as obediently locking down their respective targets as well. As an unofficial master and disciple, both were fighting together and they had excellent coordination.

Winter’s ice-based attacks functioned as hard crowd control while Rex’s blindingly fast attacks burst down their opponents’ defenses. Although she was faced with limited success, she kept attacking viciously to keep them on their backfoot.

Offense is the best defense! And against such strong enemies, it was doubly important that he keep the offensive going on at full blast.

And in that way, all of Elliot’s beasts were doing rather well in their defensive opening segment against the eighteen Hegemons that they were dealing with.

Each of them, merely at the peak of King level, fought to the best of their Darklight Energy enhanced abilities, and were able to stop EIGHTEEN Hegemons in their tracks!

The overwhelming momentum and advantage that the Shadow Parasites had turned out to be nothing more than an illusion!

At that moment, the Void Communicator which Elliot had already forgotten he had on, crackled into life.

“Elliot. The Ancient level powerhouses are gone. You can go all out.” Came Jul’Taras’ calm voice through the device.

“Hmmmm?” Elliot was taken slightly aback by the sudden appearance of Jul’Taras’ voice.

But he quickly acted on her timely information and his eyes glinted with noticeable bloodlust as he finally allowed himself to go all out.

“No ancients? Twenty Hegemons is what? Two thousand points? Very good.” Elliot said quietly to himself.

Calmly, he released his red dragon energy.

Grrrrrr-rrrrrrrrrrrr-RRRRRRRRRAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

As soon as the red dragon energy materialized, it let out a loud reptilian roar!

It solidified in an instant and took to the skies.

At the same time, it began to unleash pulses of energy that weakened all of Elliot’s enemies and strengthened his beasts.

The effect of the red dragon’s pulses shot up in potency along with its awakening, and the impact it had on the battle was instantaneous and drastic, to put it very mildly.

Elliot realized that with the red dragon energy’s aura, the tides of battle had immediately shifted to his beasts, and they were very suddenly scoring one critical hit after another on their enemies.

It was like changing the engine of a car from a 1.5 Liter Naturally Aspirated Engine to an 8 Liter Turbo Charged and Super Charged Engine!

The impasse that was plaguing the battle was immediately smashed into smithereens.

Wu Kong’s powerful strikes suddenly gained a powerful penetrative effect which took the remaining Hegemon fighting against him completely by surprise!

But it was an incredibly short lasting surprise as his vision soon went black and his brain emptied of everything – literally.

Wu Kong’s rod had smashed through his defense and turned his head to pulp!

Red and his “bildies” also started to deal critical damage. Instead of smashing into their targets and veering away in recoil, they started to penetrate their armor and burst into their bodies.

It wasn’t too long till their enemies were a mess of meat riddled with countless holes. The gory result was in direct contrast with how cutely the bildies were boasting about their accomplishments in the battle.

“Bildie numbel one scoled thlee dilect hits! Thlee! I am da best! I tluly am bildie numbel one!”

“Thlee? You dale to show off with only thlee hits? Ha! So embalassing! I scoled foul! One two thlee foul!”

“Wow foul! Bildie numbel two! You ale numbel one! I only scoled two! Both wele thlough the head!”

“Bildie numbel thlee! You ale the best! You ale the leal numbel one!”

“Bildie numbel thlee! Bildie numbel thlee! Hollay! Hollay!”

And so on and so forth. The full narration of their comments were so colourful and overwhelmingly cute that it would be completely out of place if spelt out in its entirety in anything except a cute children’s novel… Wouldn’t it?

“Stay off the main channel you damn birds.” Brock growled as he crushed the scorpion’s body and killed it, a Hegemon, very casually.

“Let them talk! They are so cute! Hee hee!” Ellie giggled as she blocked her opponent’s attack with one armored arm and then proceeded to crush its spine with the other as though she was just doing something light and unimportant.

“No, I agree with Brock. Please shut them up.” Khalendros growled as well. His Brutal Lightning strikes had turned into a fearsome blue in colour and were in the process of cooking his targets with crackling intensity.

“Nono, let them talk. The public channel is pretty quiet most of the time anyway.” Khellendra disagreed with her husband. She solidified the space around the two hegemons’ legs and locked them down so that Khalendros would have an easier time cooking them.

“Yeah. It’s refreshing to hear little babies talk. After all, I didn’t get to have that with Kai who turned out to be such a unique baby.” Aldera added. “Not that I am complaining though. You’re my pride and joy all the same. Sometimes, I just…”
