[Class Skill: Apograph of Skills

Fate cannot limit your scope of abilities if your talent is copying.

This Skill will allow you to copy Skills from other players, but for each copy there is an original requirement.

(You are prohibited from distributing any Class Points in this Skill, this Skill cannot be evolved).

Do you wish to unlock the <Apograph of Skills> for 5 Class Points? YES/NO]

Kaizen almost couldn't stop smiling as he read over and over the description of the skill <Apograph of Abilities>.

Although he hadn't been playing Rise Online for that long, playing using only two skills was very exhausting. However, so much effort required was justifiable by the great level of the skill he was now about to obtain.

After reading the description of this skill one last time, Kaizen clicked YES to unlock the class.

[You used 5 Class Points to learn the Skill <Apograph of Skills>. There are 0 Class Points left to be used].

Although Kaizen felt nothing special after he unlocked the skill, such as a tingling in his fingertips or a mental snap, he was deeply excited to use the new skill. He could try to test it out immediately with one of the players in the Bleeding Lily guild, but considering that Araxie and Dathan were watching him with judgmental looks as if he were a rabid dog, it was better to discard that idea.

In any case, Kaizen also knew that he needed to think about how to act in the second horde and get some rest.

'Perhaps, I should stay playing the support role of these people with my bow until I encounter some strong enemy. When that happens, I can test my new skill. Yes, that's what I'll do.' He made up his mind quickly while eating a very hot baked potato and recovering his MP.

Then he remembered that he had been playing for a while and was possibly hungry in real life as well, so he uttered:

"System, log out."

[Do you wish to log out? YES/NO.]

"Yes."

[Are you sure you want to log out of Rise Online? YES/NO.]

"Sure."

[Disconnecting the Kaizen user...]

[...]

[Unable to disconnect. The reasons are:

- The user is too close to monsters.

- The user is in the middle of an action event.

- The user is not in a safe area].

'Shit... It makes sense that I can't disconnect because I'm in the middle of an event.' Kaizen thought.

"Trying to disconnect because you have to get back to work or something?"  Dathan inquired, approaching Kaizen from behind. "Give it up. You'll only make it after the last horde is over."

Psyker turned his neck just a little to look back and see who was talking to him. After he saw that it was the handsome boy with medium-sized brown hair, he did not smile.

"Actually, I was trying to disconnect to get something to eat. There's still half an hour left until the start of the next round." He said and looked back out the library window he was watching.

On the street parallel to the library, there were now many more NPCs roaming around. Most of them were scared and looking for a north in the face of such sudden confusion.

Dathan moved a little closer to Kaizen and since the window was wide, he also leaned in to see out the window.

"You're the boy who was at the Holinda Training Center last week, aren't you? You know, the one who fought Elfire Waylan."

"So you were there too?"

"Bleeding Lily and I were checking to see if some comments that came up on the Webnet about there being a History Mission taking place in that place... Somehow, after I watched you fight, I knew I would see you again sooner or later. A pity that you are now hated by the three major guilds of the Tretidian Kingdom, otherwise I would surely have tried to recruit you into our guild."

"Three major ones? What are those guilds?"

Dathan turned his head slightly to look at him and asked:

"Who else could it be? First is the guild I am part of, the Crimson Soldiers Guild. The second guild is Taznaar's, the Desert Lions. Finally, the third is called the Metallic Dragons. The latter the headquarters is in Holinda City and not in the Royal City like ours."

Kaizen laughed briefly with irony after Dathan finished proudly speaking the names of the guilds.

"What is it?" inquired Dathan.

"It's nothing special. I was just thinking that you guys urgently need a good leader."

Dathan frowned. "What did you mean by that?"

"I have nothing personally against Bleeding Lily, Taznaar, or you, but it's just that while some of you stood by and watched me steal your game, the others invested furiously against me and still couldn't stop me. If both leaders had been wiser, they could have quickly instructed the other players to stop me. It's shameful to admit it, but that day I was lucky that you guys were lousy in that regard."

Dathan continued to look at Kaizen, only this time with a static smile on his lips, his eyes almost completely closed, and with a vein protruding from his forehead.

Although these were hard words to hear, what could Dathan possibly say?

This that Kaizen said made sense and was an interesting way to look at what had happened in the Howling Draughts with totally different eyes. For at first they thought that Kaizen's strength was overwhelming even to them, but the more all the players thought about what happened, the more they concluded that the biggest mistake was that they didn't think about the possibility of this happening.

'Who would be so foolish as to interfere in the raid of the three largest guilds in the kingdom? Really, only someone who doesn't know what the three biggest guilds in the kingdom are.' Dathan could almost laugh just thinking how ironic that was. "Anyway, Kaizen, I didn't come here to talk about that day."

Kaizen looked confused at the boy and questioned:

"Why did you come to me then?"

"You are here because you want to help and you want help during this event, don't you? In my country, there is a phrase that says: one hand washes the other. That is, you tell me what you are capable of doing and we will fit you in the best possible place for you to perform your function. So your style of play doesn't change much and you will need to adapt to our way of playing."

"Right. By the way, I am an archer." He stated while equipping his old bow.

Dathan looked at the worn bow with corroded wood and then looked at Kaizen. "Are you sure?"

"I promise I won't miss any arrows." Psyker winked confidently at the handsome boy, who immediately snorted.

"Huf... All right, then you'll stay with Bleeding Lily on the rooftops."
