Kirill called forth his undead constructs and they immediately started stretching for Tanya with their life-draining touches.
The moment their cold deathly hands touched her, Tanya could feel her life force getting eaten away at but there was no panic on her face. Rather her ethereal soul form slammed its palms together and out spread the energy of the Monument of Ordinances and it quickly restored all the life force Tanya had lost to the undead structures while also wrestling control away from Kirill.
"Impossible," Kirill mumbled with widened eyes but Tanya just snorted,
"You have no idea what I'm capable of," she said before she reversed what Kirill had attempted to do to her and siphoned his life force instead. Chipping away at it at a speedy rate.
Kirill was in a bit of a predicament because since he had separated them from their bodies and brought them into this realm between realms, the Ex duke could not call on his might as a Demi-god, and Tanya's control over the realm was adamantly stopping him from returning to his body.
However, while things did not look to be in his favor, Kirill found calm in the thought that he still had something up his sleeve.
"This is very fitting as an end. Just as your people died by your hands, you should die by your trick" Tanya said with a wide grin just as she summoned a staff which she stamped against the non-existent ground.
*DUUM!*
The sound the staff made announced the beginning of the banishing process but right before it hit Kirill, his ethereal form turned completely black as it was totally corrupted by Nether and Death energy to the degree that would kill any other expert no matter how strong as long as they were still only at the Insight level of the Ordinance of Death.
Kirill, still only at the Insight level of the Ordinance of death would have died from such a level of corruption but he had already been treating his body with deathly corruption since he started using it to push his advancement and so he was going to hardly face any consequences.
The banishing force was meant to cut off the connection between Kirill's body and soul so that he could be pushed into the Nether realm, rendering him dead but Kirill accepted that force, combined it with his high level of deathly corruption, and forcefully returned into his body.
The force at which the Ex duke rejoined his body caused his inner organs to shake and approach rupture but he was able to bring it all under control but not before he spat out blood.
Kirill wiped the sides of his mouth and by the time Tanya returned to her body, he was already attacking her again.
"Slippery bastard- Umph!" Tanya started to speak before Kirill slammed into her with a massive lariat that threatened to knock her head off her shoulders.
As Tanya was knocked back, Kirill turned, summoned his spear Cosmic Armament, and drove it through her abdomen until the weapon thrust out the back.
Kirill was grinning with joy at his success only for the Monument-gem to flash and shatter the spear while it was still inside Tanya.
Tanya righted herself in the air and Kirill watched as multicolored energy healed her wound as though she had never been injured. While Kirill made that observation, he did not take a break in his attack.
He was in awe of the situation but he was very aware that now was not the time to stop and think. He attacked as Tanya was healing but the Princess warped reality so that it was her weapon thrusting through him instead.
Kirill let her warp reality as she pleased and right before there could be contact, he countered the reality warp with his Abstract Ordinance of Death and his target was the gem on Tanya's head.
'Fast!' Tanya admitted especially because she could not possibly react in time to stop or avoid the attack but she did not have to.
Tanya had gone much deeper into the powers she had access to through the gem than Nozel and had he actually understood the gem to the level that she now had, there was no possible way she could have defeated him. He had an entire year or so to prepare and even with all time, he stuck to surface-level power only.
Kirill's weapon made contact with the gem with a force that caused shockwaves and cracked building walls all around but before he could likely witness the cracking of the gem, his mind separated from his body and pushed him into a place that felt familiar as well as unfamiliar to the Ex-Duke.
"The Monument of Ordinances" Kirill mumbled quickly realizing where he was and being surprised at being there.
He only had a second to think before he felt a crippling pain in his chest which forced him back into his body to see that Tanya had skewered his heart with a multicolored spear.
"Ack- *PUH*" Kirill groaned with widened eyes before he splattered the weapon that stabbed him with spewed blood.
"Accept your end," Tanya said and her weapon gave off a minute explosion that was enough to destroy all remaining vestiges of a heart still in the Doxon man's chest...
*Chime*
The sound was sudden and the very instant it sounded, Kirill was gone from the end of Tanya's spear and was many feet away from her in the air cradled in the arms of an awakened Svetlana.
Svetlana had the region of Kirill's wound shrouded with blue time-warping light as she relied on her Chrono-spheres Artifact, which was spinning impossibly fast, to reverse the damage by literally turning back the time of the incident.
She succeeded at the cost of a significant dimming of her Time-warping Artifact that had borne the heavy cost of energy required to do what she had done.
Since she had used the Artifact rather than her actual insight into the Abstract Ordinance of Time, Svetlana was not in any way weakened.
Her eyes were bright with anger and Tanya eyed her with a frown mostly due to Svetlana having undone the death of a major target.
"You're awake..." Kirill groaned as he left his daughter's arms to float by his own strength, barely.
It was official, the Ex-Duke feared Tanya. Clearly, the strength she had from that gem of hers had her strength scaling to the first Halo of the Demi-god realm, at the very least.
"What do we do?" Kirill asked Svetlana. His plans had been to meet things head on and even when he mixed in trickery, it had all been for naught. He needed a different perspective and what better perspective than that of the one on whose shoulder, the rulership of the family and the Duchy fell on?
"We need help," Svetlana said. "Luckily we have it"
Suddenly vegetation began to grow all over the Palace ground. On of buildings, on top of walls... In a second, the entire Palace and a good distance beyond were covered in the vegetation of the Garden of Peril.
Not the entirety of the vegetation of the Garden but just enough to announce the arrival of the Divine Array that Hal had pacified and given Svetlana power to call on in times of distress.
(Refer to chapter 426 if you need to be reminded of the Garden of Perils and its consciousness who goes by the name of Embry)
The Garden of Peril being a Divine Array caused Tanya's isolating Dome to shatter upon the arrival of a portion of its entire width.
Purple coils of Astral energy charged at Tanya from below moving at a speed relative to the attack of a Demi-god of a stronger level than Kirill.
The coils bound Tanya before she could react but she destroyed them and struck down at the Array which brushed it all off as Embry took to the air and conjured spikes he turned at Tanya and attempted to stab her with.
Tanya shattered the spikes just as a *Chime* sounded and Svetlana kicked her in the back of the head only for Tanya to accept the blow and strike her with a massive blunt weapon she had suddenly summoned.
*Chime*
Time warped and Svetlana moved out of the way and replacing her, also aided by Svetlana's time-warping, was Embry the Divine Array.
Tanya's attack dissipated Embry but Embry reformed as her weapon was still in swing at the same time Tanya got stabbed in the chest.
That attack was followed by an explosive attack from Svetlana.
*BOOOOOOOM!!!*
As Tanya survived the explosion, a cage conjured by Embry and sped up by Svetlana closed on the Princess and Skewered her before she could react.
Elsewhere, the battle between the Blood Knights and the imbued Haron forces had wrought more havoc on the Palace grounds and its inhabitants.
Many more Doxons had lost their lives and the same was the case for many Harons at the hands of the Blood Knights.
In the sky, despite the trio of Rita, Karmen, and Emily bringing about the deaths of a few of the Harons who had gone after the Elders, three more Doxon Elders fell to their assault bringing the tally of dead Elders to seven. More than half the whole bunch.
"Her gem... Get her gem!" Kirill yelled but neither Embry nor Svetlana ever got the chance to make a move on the gem as Tanya shattered the cage that had skewered and attempted to hold her.
Once free, she was swallowed up by a portal that every Ordinance-Wielding individual on the scene, except Svetlana, recognized.
Tanya leaving sparked the getaway of all living Harons on the Palace grounds as their imbuement from the Monument-gem opened a similar portal that took them away...
... Taking them all directly into the Monument of Ordinances from where they had emerged onto the Doxon Duchy Palace in the first place.
