"That's how you deal with these nuisances, huh?" Rex mumbled while he was being flooded with far more than a hundred notifications, all of which looked the same to him.

In the following two minutes, his Arcanium increased by close to 200 units, and that was despite sharing the contribution of each kill with Liam. That caused Rex to swallow hard as he stared at Liam, who looked at the bright currents of electricity impassively as they continued to wreak havoc all over the place.
The sound of explosions had died down and Liam could see the remnants of the Skullthrone through the purple and golden currents that kept on destroying the room as bits of skulls were being thrown all over the room. The currents seemed to jump from one droplet of the Water of Liran to another, prancing through the room until the Arcane Power within the water and the surrounding area was drained completely.
Liam didn't have too much Arcane Power left within himself either. His Blanchal Silk Gloves were void of Arcane Power, his Arcane Kunai had less than half Arcane Power remaining and the same could be said about himself.
There was not too much Arcane Power left within him either.
However, that could be solved rather easily.
[2x『Reinforced Arcaniua Potion (C- Rank)』 have been purchased. 20 Arcanium have been deducted!]
If Liam wouldn't have spent 200 Arcanium to kill a few hundred Mutant Elite Shedim and Canine Shedim, in addition to destroying the Skullthrone, he might have thought a little longer about purchasing the Reinforced Arcaniua Potions. But their final opponent was an enraged, and hopefully injured Shedim Champion Boss.
It was better to be safe and sound rather than a dead corpse while fighting a mighty opponent.
He unstoppered the two vials and swallowed the contents without any hesitation. His Soultrait was triggered and his consumption of Arcane Power increased once again.
Liam's entire body was filled with life and power, and Arcane Power began to surge through him more vigorously just seconds after he swallowed the viscous liquid. He removed the Black Steel Halbert from his back and swirled it around his body. Taking a deep breath, he willed the Arcane Kunai to attach itself to the blade of the Halbert before he stepped out of the gateway that had been their safe haven for the last few minutes.
The purple and golden currents died down, revealing the fiercely glowing scarlet eyes of the Shedim Champion Boss. It flapped its wings violently, rising into the air as it looked around to witness the devastating result of the attacks caused by the tiny worms that were standing in the gateway to his lands, HIS territory.
The underground tower was his fief, it belonged to none other than him, yet the tiny ants had been daring enough to not only conquer his fief but also to take away his belongings, kill his Soldiers, and humiliate him by destroying everything around him without even entering the last basalt hall of the underground tower.
There were still a few tunnels leading to different places but none of them were important to the Shedim Champion Boss. His only interest was his land, his people, and the fact that he would soon be allowed to officially become a noble of the Shedim race by creating his first Arcane Circle. It would be a powerful Arcane Circle, one that represented the hard work he put in to become the strongest, to make his family and beloved proud of him.
Yet, the tiny ants had shown up out of nowhere and wanted to destroy this dream of his as well. The Shedim Champion Boss couldn't accept that.
It released a terrific roar that swept through the entire room, shaking the basalt walls, floor, and ceiling. The remnants of electricity currents flickered once before they dispersed forever. Eyes that desired the ants' blood began to glimmer brightly when its gaze cascaded down its harpoon before it stared down at them, creating a rippled effect of fear to spread through the natives who didn't dare to move.
The sight of the raging Shedim Champion Boss was beyond terrifying. The Boss Monster was more than fiver-meters tall and it was still able to fly, despite weighing more than two tons. Its rage was uncontrollable, which could be felt in the roar's soundwave that prevented the natives from moving even a single inch.
Even Rex, who was extremely weary and exhausted after overextending the usage of his Soultrait didn't dare to take a breath, no matter how much he needed oxygen right now.
He struggled for a while before his knees gave in and he collapsed on the ground, falling next to Jennie and Felicia. Jennie's mind was weak and everyone knew about that. However, Felicia was different. She collapsed because she was already injured and unable to endure the pressure that was forced upon her mind.
Her heart was racing and the effect of the bunch of potions and other recovery items she was currently using to heal were going wild. It was almost as if their effectiveness decreased for a few seconds before the potions' effects intensified all at once.
Felicia's body was overwhelmed with the effect of the potions and recovery items, forcing her body into a state of shock. She lost consciousness, which left Liam who was already in the final room, and both Kian and Olivia, who were unable to move. They were unmoving like stone statues and stared at Liam who moved around seemingly unfazed at the horrifying demonstration of the Boss Monster's power!
"If you're not going to help me, just don't stand in my way," Liam said in a voice loud enough for the two conscious students to hear, "Watch and see what awaits you in the future!"
The corners of his lips curled upward as his chest heaved up and down. His heart was racing, which made him feel like his chest was going to explode at any moment.
However, he ignored his roaring heartbeat and stared straight into the Shedim Champion Boss' eyes.
After all, he was not overflowing with anxiety or the fear of death.
The exact opposite was the case!
He was filled with excitement and the thought of finally being able to fight to his heart's content against an opponent that was worth going all out!
"Come at me, rotten lizard!"
