They weren't conversing currently, there was silence as they were strolling. And as said, Aiden wanted to create a nuisance. His voice resounded,

"Damn! A magical beast".

Oliver and Ava glanced at him immediately with wide-opened eyes, and Oliver was just like,

"Where the f**k is it, where is the magical beast?".

..And Aiden began laughing at that moment, the same thing Ava did.

The both of them immediately discerned that he was lying.

"I was just pulling you both legs, I was lying, there's no magical beast". Aiden said.

"You don't even need to say it, we've already discerned that you're lying. Why did you choose to tell such a lie?". Oliver voiced out once again.

"I mean, I did something like this minutes ago, and you were the first person to talk". Ava voiced out as well.

"Yeah, that was hypocritical, I just wanted to catch some fun, you know, nothing else attached to it". Aiden stated.

"Wouldn't lie, my heart skipped a little when I heard the utterance 'magical beast'. I mean, if there was truly a magical beast, we're in big trouble. Aiden, learn to take it easy, that's too much of a big joke". Oliver uttered once again.

"I've heard you, let the hunting continue".

And with that, the three of them began walking once again going deeper into the forest. Finding another grass cutter was hard, but they eventually did, and it was Oliver that was gonna hunt it down.

"You guys should watch me, you'd see that I wouldn't miss just as you guys did. I'd catch this grass cutter on my first attempt". Oliver said to Aiden and Ava.

"What should we do to you if you miss?". Aiden inquired of Oliver.

"Nothing". That was all Oliver said.

He focused his gaze back on the grass cutter. They were doing their very best not to make a single sound so the grass cutter wouldn't take to its heels.

And by now, Oliver had already drawn out an arrow from his quiver and placed it in his bow. Then he targeted, and now, it was about time to fire.

..Would he keep to his word? Would he be able to hunt down this grass cutter? Well, let's wait and see.

He had targeted, but he didn't let go of the arrow immediately, he focused properly so he'd be able to hunt down the grass cutter once. Now that everything has been done, he was sure the grass cutter wouldn't be able to escape, he let go of the arrow.

The arrow headed toward the grass cutter with speed. And the grass cutter noticed danger, it noticed that its life could be cut short at any moment. But before it could take to its heels, the arrow penetrated its body.

After the penetration, it still ran but didn't go far...it was dead. Then Oliver glanced at Aiden and Ava and said,

"What did I tell you guys? Didn't I keep to my word?".

"Yeah, not surprised, these things are easy for you since you've been hunting for a long time, you're a born hunter, you're the king of the forests. Even when we couldn't hunt together as friends, you still do visit forests alone to hunt". Ava said to Oliver.

"If you were this confident, then why didn't you say what would have happened if you didn't keep to your word?". Aiden uttered.

"That's 'cause it isn't necessary, I didn't see any reason why we should do that". Oliver responded, then his voice resounded again, "Let's head over to where the grass cutter is lying".

They walked to where the grass cutter was lying, then Oliver picked it up and drew out the arrow from its body as little blood gushed out. Then Aiden forwarded the sack bag as Oliver dropped the grass cutter into it.

After that, Oliver's voice resounded, "Four grass cutters have been caught".

"That's a lot of meat there". Aiden said.

"Yeah". Ava added.

..And though they've caught four grass cutters, they didn't stop, they kept moving forward.

Do they want to hunt down the whole grass cutters in the forest? Well, they conversed a lot as they strolled, it was a fun experience. And you know what? Finding another grass cutter was hard.

The sky was getting dimmer, and they hadn't still left the wilderness. As for Ava, she doesn't plan on handing the hunting tools over to Aiden until she leaves this forest.

..Remember, she was to hold them for some minutes more before handing them over to Aiden, but that wasn't what she planned on doing.

The sky was getting dimmer, time was going, and they hadn't still caught another grass cutter. And now, Ava felt it was about time for her to leave, she shouldn't arrive home too late.

But as for Oliver and Aiden, they don't plan on leaving yet. Ava glanced at the both of them and said,ραпdα `nᴏνɐ| сom

"I think it's about time for me to leave, I shouldn't arrive home too late".

After making that utterance, she handed the hunting tools over to Aiden. You see, it was just as she decided, until she was leaving the forest, that's when she'd hand the hunting tools to him, and that's what was happening.

After she'd handed them over to him, she uttered once again, "It was a fun experience hunting with you guys again".

Oliver patted her right shoulder and said, "Get home safely, be careful".

"Sure, but don't you guys plan on leaving the forest yet?". Ava inquired of both of them.

"We would, but not now". Oliver responded, he was speaking in place of him and Aiden.

"Okay, but guys, did you notice something?".

"Notice what?". Uttered Aiden.

"We didn't sight anyone in this forest, it was a smooth hunt. No one questioned us or something like that".

"Just as I told you, we'd most likely not see anyone 'cause it barely happens. And even if we do, nothing would happen, we came here to hunt not to visit the Mudville River. As I told you, you're just like proof". Oliver stated.

Ava nodded her head a little before voicing out once again, "True, true, so as usual, you'd be the one to prepare the meat, Oliver".

"Yes, be expecting your meats at school tomorrow". Oliver said.

"I'm sure expecting them, make sure to bring them. I'd be leaving now, you guys should do fast and leave this place as well. We'd meet at school tomorrow".

And with that, she turned around and began walking away after waving at them a little...

"Be safe". Oliver said to her as she was still walking.

..She only nodded her head without turning around to glance at them, and before they knew it, they couldn't see her anymore, she was out of their sight.

After that had taken place, Oliver glanced at Aiden and inquired, "So should the hunting continue?".

"I think so, for some minutes more". Aiden responded.

"Then let's continue then".

..And with that, the both of them began walking forward once again.

Aiden was holding the sack bag in one hand and holding his bow in one hand as well, it wasn't easy. He didn't need to hold his quiver of arrows 'cause it was placed in his back.

His school bag was placed on his back as well. How would he hunt down a grass cutter when he sees one since none of his hands were free? Simple, he'd just have to keep the sack bag on the floor and make use of both hands to hunt.

..But as it is like this, it doesn't seem like they'd sight another grass cutter, they were f**king scarce, and time was going.

After walking forward for some minutes more without sighting any grass cutter, Oliver said to Aiden...

"I don't think we'd come across any other grass cutter, we should head home now, it's getting late".

Aiden nodded his head a little before voicing out, "Hmmm, true, four grass cutters are enough, that's a lot of meat there. Let's head home".

Aiden handed all the hunting tools over to Oliver as he put them into his bag including his own. And now, it was about time for them to leave this forest...but a certain idea entered Oliver's head, a risky one.

As Aiden was about to begin walking so they could leave this forest, Oliver held his hand and said,

"Should we visit the Mudville River?".

ƥαṇdα-ηθνε|·ƈθm Aiden glanced at him with wide-opened eyes, then he voiced out, "What are you saying, Oliver?".

"I'm saying, should we visit the Mudville River to glance at females now that Ava has gone".

..This was exactly what happened when they were 7 years old.

The moment Ava left their midst, Oliver showed Aiden the route that led to the Mudville River...and that's how Aiden learned about the Mudville River.

"Yes, I know that's what you're saying. What I'm saying is how could you suggest something like that? Don't you know how risky that is? And you were the one that kept saying we didn't come here to glance at females, we came here to hunt. So why suggest something like this now?".

..Aiden's eyes were still wide open as he made that utterance.
