And the ones that knew his father wasn't just an average-ranked chief but also a warrior muttered to themselves...

"Well, it shouldn't be that surprising, his father is a warrior that is helping out this kingdom in many ways. His mana core is at the highest grade, teaching his son how to wield mana to an extent is like nothing for him".

..And that was just the simple truth.

Well, Aiden couldn't get his flame to reach the boy's own, it just stayed at the same size, but it didn't go off. With the flames on their palms, both boys were conversing, and people's gazes were still focused on them.

Well, it got to a time when they needed to put off the flames on their palms before a teacher would come and see the scene. The moment they put off the flames, people started leaving.

..Yeah, the show was over, it was about time for people to head over to their classrooms.

But people's zeal was still there, that zeal to begin training was there, that zeal to learn how to make use of their powers to an extent was there.

They'd have to find someone that had learned to wield mana, someone that can teach them how to make use of their affinities to an extent.

Well, by now, everyone had evacuated, that spot had become almost empty. Even the boy that started the show had left, the one that began drawing people's attention.

Aiden, Oliver, and Ava continued walking toward their classroom, and this is what Ava said to Aiden,

"That was nice, you know, you were able to grab people's attention".

A little smile just appeared on Aiden's face as he nodded his head a little. Then Oliver's voice resounded next, he said something Aiden wasn't expecting to hear,

"Why don't we battle ourselves?".

..The moment he made that utterance, Aiden glanced at him with a kind of perplexed expression on his face, and this was the statement that flowed out of his mouth,

"Battle ourselves?".

"Yes, it would just be like a tournament, it wouldn't be a life and death stuff. We'd just be doing it for fun, you know, to see who's the strongest among us, who has the greater affinity,

We can do it in an open space, all three of us". Oliver explained.

Aiden nodded his head once again, it was now he understood what Oliver was saying, what he really meant. They hadn't even visited the forest to hunt again, now, Oliver was suggesting another thing they were gonna do?

Aiden couldn't help but shake his head a little, which one would they do first? Then Oliver's voice resounded again, something that made Aiden's eyes widen a little...

"We can even do it today if possible".

'I plan on leaving the classroom once it gets to closing hour, ain't going home with you guys today too. I've got something to accomplish, and you saying we should do it today?'. This was the thought that ran through Aiden's mind the moment Oliver made that utterance.

'We haven't even done the first one, that's visiting a wilderness to hunt again'. That was the next thought that followed.

Then he spoke, "We wouldn't be able to do it today, we'd do it later, there's a time for everything".

Aiden doesn't plan on mentioning that they haven't even visited the forest to hunt yet, but Ava was gonna voice it out for him,

"We haven't even visited the wilderness to hunt again, and something else we'll do is already being suggested?".

Aiden glanced at Ava the moment she made that utterance, and this was the thought that ran through his mind,

'Something I almost wanted to say'.

ƥαṇdα-ηθνε|·ƈθm Oliver nodded his head a little, then he stated, "I guess one at a time".

"Exactly". Ava uttered once again.

"But who knows, we could actually do what you suggested now before visiting the wilderness to hunt". Aiden said.

Oliver and Ava nodded their heads, then Aiden's voice resounded again, something they weren't expecting to hear...

"But even if we battle ourselves, do you guys think you'd be able to beat me?".

"Why not, anything can happen, are you good at martial arts? Have you gone to an academy meant for training benders? So anyone can become victorious over each other". Oliver voiced out.

"I think the fire affinity is stronger than you guys' affinities. What's your affinity again?". Aiden uttered, and with that last utterance, he was referring to Oliver.ραпdα `nᴏνɐ| сom

He contemplated, then remembered, "Yes, the earth affinity, and Ava, the water affinity. Do you guys think your affinities are stronger than mine?".

..Aiden wanted to brag a little.

"Is there anything like that? It matters how well you make use of your affinities. A D-rank bender can beat an S-rank bender, a person with the wind affinity can beat a person with the fire affinity. So it doesn't matter what affinity you possess, it matters how well you make use of it". Oliver voiced out.

And that was just the absolute truth, but Aiden still planned on saying something...

"Well, we'll see on that day".

"Yes, we'll see on that day how I'd become victorious over you when we battle". Oliver added.

And all Aiden could do was smile a little and shake his head, he didn't utter a single word anymore as they kept heading toward their classroom. They were mounting the first staircase by now.

******

It had gotten to closing hour, the bell just rang to signify it. Aiden glanced at Oliver and Ava, and they had reacted already due to the bell that just rang, but they were still sitting in their seats and glancing front.

'This is my chance'. Aiden muttered to himself and grabbed his bag immediately.

..Once one of them glances back at him, then plan spoiled, so it was better he leaves now.

Remember, he hadn't completed his first main quest yet, and he had 4 days remaining to complete it. Grabbing his bag and holding it in his hand, he stood up from his seat and began walking out of the classroom.

The moment he stepped out of the classroom and strolled further a little, Ava glanced back at him, but he was nowhere to be found.

..This same thing that happened yesterday?

Now, if he had wasted some seconds to stand up from his seat and stroll out of the classroom, Ava would have sighted him. Thank goodness he decided to act fast...if not.

He had arrived at the compound by now, and he didn't stop walking as he aimed to stroll out of the compound completely. There weren't many students on the compound yet 'cause many of them hadn't reached it.

I mean, it hadn't been too long since the bell rang to signify closing hour. Aiden had finished walking out of the compound by now, and he began heading toward the Bupia Community where the Trailes Academy was situated.

'4 f**king days remaining'. Aiden thought to himself as he strolled.

The aim was to get to Lucia's academy again, and as he journeyed, he thought of his plan. The number one aim was to avoid that boy she was close to, he hope his plans wouldn't crumble.

Seeing the boy on the compound would spoil everything. As said, the boy might want to confirm some things. Would Aiden come to their academy today? Would he make any move on Lucia?

..These were things he might want to confirm, but it's still based on probability.

Aiden's thinking might be true, or it might be wrong. It could be the boy planned on doing something like that, or it could be he had pushed the matter aside.

When Aiden reaches the academy, we'd find out...

But remember, Aiden has a cheat, a system that could help him out. And according to the little conversation he had with the system yesterday, she'd be able to render the help he needed.

Aiden had reached the Bupia Community by now, it was remaining the Trailes Academy. He kept journeying until he arrived in front of the Trailes Academy. And he noticed something, students weren't strolling out of it.

..Seems like they haven't closed yet, as known, Aiden's academy close earlier than theirs.

But Aiden's thinking was wrong, they had closed, it hadn't been too long since the bell rang to signify closing hour. The thing was, students hadn't started strolling out of it yet.

He began wondering if he should walk into the compound or wait a little...

'There's no time to waste, I need to enter and see what the situation is like'. Aiden thought to himself.

Sighing a little, Aiden strolled into the academy's compound. He was standing at the far end of the compound currently, which means, he could easily stroll out of the academy again if he wants to.

..And standing on the compound, he had already confirmed something, they had closed, his thinking was wrong.

'Seems like it hadn't been too long since they closed, there aren't many students on the compound yet'. Aiden thought to himself.
