The battle was being fought in the desolate hills.
Once Legolas barely accepted his current situation and started his quest to survive this ambush, he instantly headed for the hills.
He guessed that his chances of escape in the hills would be better. Of course, his journey to the hills was no easy stuff as he had the warriors in red to fight.
The limit to attributes of normal humans who had not awakened the super gene was 5, only the vitality of this new body of his was better than normal and Legolas banked all his hopes on it.
After yelling at the warriors in white to block his retreat, they did just that and this was what enabled him to break away from the warriors in red after exchanging 4 or 5 blows with them with the sword that he picked.
His sudden increased proficiency with the sword shocked the warriors, and this was what allowed him to slip away but not for long though.
After what felt like an eternity, the data transfer that seemed to take place in his head finally came to an end as he inherited all the memories of his new body.
Accessing the older memories immediately was a bit difficult for him but he was able to access the recent ones. He finally understood why the virtual interface described his first mission as the betrayal of his twin brother.
Legolas reincarnated into the body of a horny young warrior who through pure luck was able to awaken the supergene.
After awakening the supergene, his parents took him and his twin brother to the Summoner Academy which was the only one in their shelter.
By now, Legolas already recognized this beginner planet.
This planet was made with the premise of a world ravaged by a beast apocalypse that accelerated the growth of its inhabitants and opened their eyes to the mysteries of awakening super genes.
The main target of this ambush by the opposing Elementalist Academy was the genius of the Summoner Academy, Quinn Baron not Legolas Baron.
When faced with danger, Quinn, Legolas's genius brother was ruthless enough to sacrifice his twin brother without batting an eyelid to escape.
Being the horny and incompetent fool that he was, Legolas stood no chance, he died after being knocked on the head and thus presented his body as the perfect vessel for Legolas to reincarnate into this world.
From their recent memories also, Legolas learned that the captain of the warrior group escorting him also betrayed him alongside his brother.
He was speechless. "How dumb was that Legolas to not even notice this?"
After escaping to the hills, Legolas's original intention was to help the warriors in white but the sin of their Captain now rubbed them all.
Legolas rapidly surveyed the terrain and he found an invisible loophole like he expected that only the game developers like him could see. "Though the world is real, it's just like the game that I co-developed".
Bam!
Legolas stabbed his sword into a hidden location with all his strength and instantly, the hill shook as it gave way. Rocks rolled down the hill as they steamrolled through all the warriors without leaving anyone of them alive.
In just a few seconds, all of them died, leaving a trail of blood behind.
[You have killed 21 awakened warriors: You have gained 210 Experience!]
Legolas stood alone on the hill as he looked down curiously at all the corpses at his feet. "What a great way to welcome me into this world!"
"Feels too dark being done by a 12-year-old though".
…
Planet Darvis was one of the numerous planets that was developed in the famous VR game, Dominator. Though Legolas did not get to work on this planet as a developer, he did play the game in this location for some time.
Before his reincarnation, the game was already far ahead in the 4th version update when the Psychic Revolution started. Then, his game character who he played as a Summoner was already a Grade A powerhouse.
This was why being brought so far back now, Legolas had to stress himself to remember the little details about this planet.
One thing he vividly remembered though was that Planet Darvis was the ideal planet for carbon-based human characters.
As a planet that was just recovering from the wake of an apocalypse, Planet Darvis was extremely dangerous as only the shelters were safe.
This was why after getting rid of his enemies, Legolas started locating the nearest shelter immediately where the Summoner Academy was located.
His mission was not complete yet until he entered a shelter and was safe.
Legolas had only a few minutes before he had to accept his new reality. Not many people would have adapted as fast as he did, but if you had the kind of curiosity and open-mindedness that he had, adaption was super easy.
Maybe this was why he was even chosen to be reincarnated.
In just his first few minutes in this world, he killed his first 21 warriors. Though he may be in a 12-year-old kid's body at the moment, his soul had over 40 years of experience and he was not fazed by the killing.
After the kill, Legolas confirmed that those were not players but NPCs.
As he suspected, there were no players here, only NPCs, and all the NPCs already mutated to develop real human characteristics.
"I wonder what really happened to the game".
All these only left him more curious to know the truth behind his reincarnation and Legolas believed that the best way for him to know was to locate the shelter. He arrived after braving the wild desolate lands for 35 minutes.
After arriving, Legolas followed the memories of his new body as he went straight to the huge building that represented the Summoner Academy.
Legolas entered his dormitory while ignoring his roommates as he went straight to the mirror first to look at himself. "White hair, hazel eyes…, hmm, I look handsome".
After that, Legolas ignored his roommates again and jumped into his bed. After his little escape, he was already exhausted.
As soon as his back touched the bed, he slept.
