Chapter 301 - Dad, Open the Door!

Chapter 301: Dad, Open the Door!

In Zhao Hongmei’s eyes, Song Zhongsheng looked like a startled lover, but it was as if Father Zhao had seen a real evil spirit. He staggered and fell weakly to the floor. Father Zhao was especially horrified that his daughter had sold him out. His vision turned black and he was terrified. He was afraid that this evil spirit would kill him right away. There was no one who wasn’t afraid of death, and Father Zhao was no exception.

Moreover, what happened to Mother Zhao almost drove Father Zhao crazy with fear. “Don’t kill me! Don’t kill me! Don’t kill me!”

Song Zhongsheng swept a glance over Father Zhao, then stroked Zhao Hongmei’s head and said, “Hongmei, I think Dad’s a little agitated. Why don’t I help him into the room first?”

Zhao Hongmei hurriedly said, “I think so too. Official Song, I’ll help you!” After saying that, Zhao Hongmei quickly explained to Father Zhao, “Dad, Official Song is really a good ghost. He’s your son-in-law. He won’t harm anyone!”

Father Zhao, on the other hand, was scared out of his wits. He completely ignored Zhao Hongmei’s words and only muttered, “Don’t kill me.”

After the two helped Father Zhao into his room, Zhao Hongmei said worriedly, “Is there really something wrong with my dad?”

“Dad will definitely be fine. If he hasn’t recovered by tonight, I’ll send him to the hospital!” Song Zhongsheng glanced faintly at the closed door, lowered his head, and feigned concern as he spoke to Zhao Hongmei.

“Official Song, you’re the best!” Zhao Hongmei was moved!

At 10pm, Zhao Hongmei was still a bit worried about Father Zhao. Song Zhongsheng stopped her and said considerately, “Hongmei, go to bed first. I’ll go take a look at Dad. If he hasn’t recovered yet, I’ll send him to the hospital!”

Zhao Hongmei nodded. After a while, Song Zhongsheng came back after checking on her father. “Hongmei, Dad’s fine. Go to sleep!”

Zhao Hongmei was relieved and didn’t care anymore. She closed her eyes and went to sleep.

It was midnight. There was the non-stop sound of clanging outside the door. When Father Zhao heard the sound, he trembled all over and pushed all the heavier things against the door.

Thinking about how the malicious spirit was still around and the noise outside the door wasn’t stopping, Father Zhao, a middle-aged adult, sat on the floor and cried in fear. The more he cried, the more miserable and scared he became.

Why did he believe that Li swindler back then? Why? Why didn’t he believe that real Celestial Master back then?

The more Father Zhao thought about it, the more he regretted it, and the more scared he became when he heard the creepy voice outside.

At that moment, there was a sudden knock on the door and Song Zhongsheng’s voice came from outside. However, it was hundreds of times more sinister and unpleasant than his voice during the day. “Dad, it’s Zhongsheng. Open the door!”

Father Zhao couldn’t help but shiver, his face deathly pale.

Soon, Song Zhongsheng’s voice rang out from outside the door again. “Dad, it’s Zhongsheng, your son-in-law. Why haven’t you opened the door?”

From beginning to end, the malicious spirit outside the door didn’t hear Father Zhao’s voice. The banging on the door grew louder and fiercer. Seeing that the malicious spirit was about to break down the door, Father Zhao’s heart pounded with fright. His whole body felt like it had been pulled out of water, and he staggered to his feet. Unfortunately, the room was only so big, and there was no way to escape.

Father Zhao wished he could pull open the window and jump down, but somehow, the window was sealed shut. His hands trembled as he took out his phone, but he couldn’t even turn it on.

Father Zhao became more and more desperate and terrified.

Just then, Song Zhongsheng’s voice rang out again, and his tone wasn’t good. “Dad, I’ll say it one last time: If you don’t open the door, don’t blame me for being ruthless later!”

With that, Song Zhongsheng’s face cracked with a creepy smile, and not long after, the sound of sawing wood rang out. By the time Father Zhao reacted, the door had already been cut open by the malicious spirit.

A bloody and extremely ugly head covered in moss and pus pushed its way through the hole in the door. The timber saw was still buzzing in the malicious spirit’s hand. Father Zhao was so horrified that his vision turned black and he almost suffocated with despair as the malicious spirit smiled sinisterly at him.

“Dad, I finally see you!”
