Just like that, the two lost contact with each other. They no longer talk to or see each other, not even on the phone.

After school, Iesa came home with no spirits. She entered the house that she only has to herself.

Dropping on the couch, she opened her phone and saw some text messages. However, she already knew it's not from Teren.

During school, whenever her phone would buzz, she will immediately look into it. No matter who it came from, she lost interest since it was not from Teren.

But now, she looked into them.

"Huh... it's a message from the police station." she sat up and read it.

"The pervert is still not awake. Probably in a coma. Well, from how hard Teren kicked that pervert, I wouldn't be surprised if he died." she giggled.

Looking at the other messages, she frowned.

"They still couldn't contact mother? If they still haven't contacted her and since I'm still a minor, they want me to live in a safer apartment and give me allowance until I have a job!?"

She was shocked to the core. Iesa didn't think that it would get to this point. But looking around her, she didn't want to live in this house this big alone.

'Although I don't care about her, I'm curious why mom is not responding. I didn't hear a thought about her no returning and permanently leaving.'

But after a lot of thought, she just shrugged her shoulders.

"Maybe she's just too busy and I'm more interested in living alone if they still couldn't contact her after three days..."

Imaginations about her living alone made her smile. Not long after, her thoughts came back to Teren.

'If not for him, I would've been stuck here.'

She then frowned and opened her message with Teren. Iesa stared for a bit more without any intention of messaging him.

"Is there really no more reason for us to talk?"

.....

Friday morning came and the first period is Teacher Hanon's class. After coming in and taking some attendance, he finally proceeded to talk about last time.

"Since we didn't have enough time yesterday, I didn't have time to talk about what is the other purpose of the game we just had."

There were then murmurs that rose from the class.

"Quiet down, from your statements and your performance in the game, I will be telling you who will be partners with each other."

Teacher Hanon and called seven pairs of names.

Catherine and Mike made a high-five, meanwhile, Lina was paired up with a girl she just met because her seatmate, Nick was still absent.

"And finally, the partner who did the best, Teren Hark and Iesa Hun. For the rest who had yet to be called, I will randomly pick partners from you and play a new different game."

At that point, Catherine raised her hand.

"Yes?"

"Sir Hanon, what does this partnering means?"

"You're getting ahead of your teacher now, Catherine? Sit down, I was just about to talk about it."

The class laughed while Catherine sat with an embarrassed face. She didn't take any offense though, just from the third day, they already knew that Teacher Hanon is the one to joke a lot.

"You will be with your partners for all the activities you will do from now on in my subject. Also, I'm planning for a big activity as a final requirement for your first quarter. Don't be surprised I'm already talking about your final requirement in your first week. You won't do anything that much in my subject except this activity. However, I'm still getting permission from the principal so I won't promise anything. I'll tell you once I got permitted so don't get too excited, okay?"

Teacher Hanon winked at them before telling another set of partners who would play another game.

The students were excited.

'It seemed that I've already found my favorite subject!'

'I love Sir Hanon for this!'

'I'm so glad he's our teacher.'

These thoughts were occurring everywhere. However, Iesa couldn't hear them. Out of them all, she was the most excited as her heartbeat got faster and faster.

No, to correct that, she was not the only one who is the most excited.

'I.. I guess I have no choice but to talk to her again, huh...' Teren simply covered his mouth as he leaned forward. He naturally hid the smile he couldn't restrain.

Teacher Hanon then went on to play another set of games.

Meanwhile, Iesa kept reminding herself that she should listen to the teacher's thoughts. But in the end, her mind was too preoccupied that she failed.

Friday ended. On Saturday, Iesa was called to the police station. There she was asked if she wants to move to an apartment.

If they still couldn't contact her mother, the government will take the house and financially support Iesa while searching for her mother.

She tried not to act excited but she agreed. On Sunday, she moved and found the apartment lovely.

The government found out about her achievements and potential. They didn't restrain on investing in her.

While Iesa was busy with her own matters, Teren was just helping around the house. Sometimes, he would study and finish the damnable weekend homework.

In his free time, he would just go around the town or play their console with his little sister.

But this weekend, more important things were happening somewhere.

Hanon finally contacted his boss.

"Hey, boss. I think I found the Devil Himself. You couldn't believe how young he is."

"Yeah, his name is Teren Hark."

The voice on his phone exclaimed in shock.

"Eh? You know him?"

"Really? So he still goes around and does his own thing. But this just proves that he's the Devil Himself."

"Furthermore, I think his strength is more than we can handle. I don't know if I can trust this information but he was once haunted by three spirits... at the same time."

The voice once again shouted.

"I don't know if it's true. My Spirit couldn't see through past him so if we fought I don't know the outcome."

"I'm not selling myself low, he's the Devil Himself. I may need more than just myself to get to him."

"Yeah, I know. Once we succeed, we'll double our territory and men. Then we'll be prepared for the Regional War. I know that, don't need to remind me, boss."

"Sure, I'll try to make an excuse to see him in public. It's very unnatural for a teacher to call out a student like that... too suspicious."

"Well, I'm just glad that he's not a she or it will be harder. Rumors may arise about me."

"Okay, good luck on your infiltration too, boss.. I hope the Third General will come soon."
