"Ignore me?"

Trisha muttered in a complaint but said nothing more.

"Ah, it's about that?"

Eron did ignore her since there are more pressing matters. Her name did ring some bells but he just couldn't recall her so he moved on.

"But is it fine that I speak here?"

Eron asked and looked around. Even with his usual sunglasses on, making Trisha not the only one who would wear a pair indoors, Teren could see his eyes.

"Why wouldn't we? This place is owned by the Drago House, right? If not, you wouldn't be able to just appear and disappear in front of others."

"Hm, you got me... but that's not what I mean."

Teren then glanced at Trisha.

"What? I'm not able to hear this?"

"It's fine but..."

With an eye signal, Trisha realized and clicked her tongue.

"Ugh, but I want to hear it...!"

"Talk to him while I talk to Eron, let's just speak later on. Also, you can remove your mask and sunglasses, I don't think the people here will know you."

Teren said before standing up which Eron understood. The two of them went to a table that was far out in the corner, somewhere far from other customers. Even if Drago House owns the place, that doesn't mean every customer there is one of them. Some are just plain rich people who wants to dine in without knowing that they are inside one of the Drago's branch.

Trisha looked at the two of them before rolling her eyes towards Chihua who seemed to be staring at the empty space.

"Hey,"

She called which made Chihua snap out of it.

"What are you thinking about?"

Trisha casually asked while looking through the menu.

"Nothing... no, actually, Boss, what's happening?"

Chihua asked. He didn't have his usual cool expression so Trisha was a bit weirded out by Chihua.

"Would you relax a bit? Also, what what's happening? There's so many things that happened that you need to be more specific than that."

Trisha said while raising her hand. Afterward, a waiter arrived and took her order. While Trisha was casually ordering, unfazed by the formal vibe around there. No, she was adapting as if she had been there multiple times already.

This made Chihua remember that Trisha was actually rich, unlike him.

"What about you, Sir?"

The waiter then asked Chihua which made him panic. Seeing this, Trisha rolled her eyes and just pointed at the menu.

"This is for him."

"Is that all?"

"Yes, also, make sure to give our bill to that guy over there. He's with us earlier, he will be the one paying."

"Understood... but I'll have to make some... clarification with Sir Teren first."

This made Trisha frown as she asked.

"Wait, how do you know his name?"

However, the waiter just seemed to be unnerved and just walked away. Even though it's rude, it seemed like the best way to avoid the question.

"Hm, since he's famous in the Spirit world and this establishment is a part of that, maybe that's the reason they know him too... I didn't doubt him but damn, he is a celebrity."please visit

Trisha muttered before looking at Chihua.

"What happened to you? You're acting too timid."

"W-well... I don't know... ah, it's because of the atmosphere here. Unlike you, Boss, this is my first time here. If Teren will not cover the bills, my savings would be used up here."

"Unlike me? But this is my first time here too."

"No, Boss, what I mean is that this is the first I've been in this kind of restaurant. Even going to a fast-food restaurant is already a privilege for me."

"Yeah, that's what I mean too. I mean, you're the one who is always going out when I asked you to buy lunch, right? I don't go outing much."

Trisha honestly said. She was just too keen on ordering others that going around, following Teren was a new experience for her.

"Ah... now that I remember... you're right."

'I guess I am acting weak right now.'

Chihua breathed a few times. He had been beside Trisha since he went to Public. He saw how strong she is in and out that he too was being influenced. That's why with a little reminder, he was able to go back to his usual self.

"Sorry for being acting timid."

"Oh, you're finally back. Okay, so let's talk. I don't know when Teren will finish talking to that Eron guy so let's get to the point. What is it that you did something wrong?"

Trisha spoke while putting down the hat, the pair of sunglasses, and the facemask, showing her pretty brilliant face. Seeing her face once again revitalized Chihua again. The most important thing was that Trisha was at her usual self. It seemed that she didn't have any bad experience when Teren took her.

The picture that she took herself just proves that once more, Chihua thought.

"Ah, about that, it's because I actually told your mother that I know who kidnapped you. I made a deal with Teren but I went against it. He told me that he would send me a proof of you doing well so I want to give that to your family to show that I'm not lying."

Chihua didn't hesitate to say since Teren is not there.

"Oh, so you're the one who told Mom."

"Yeah... wait, you sound it as if you know that she knows."

"It's because I met her last night."

Trisha said with a solemn expression. She then continued to ask.

"So, did you tell who Teren is to them?"

"Yeah, I told him all I know about him."

Chihua answered, thinking that what he did was right.

"Haaa... fuck you, Chihua."

"Huh?"

Trisha held her forehead as she sighed, depressed.

"So that's why Mom reacted like that, shit. She must be thinking that I'm a part of the plan or something. I knew her agreeing to it was strange."

"What? What's the problem, Boss?"

Chihua asked.

"The problem is that I told Mom that I would go return to where I was brought. She agreed while giving me a serious expression. I didn't think of it much at first but it seemed now that she's onto something. If I'm correct, based on what I know about Mom, she will make Teren pay and she must've thought I will return to keep track on him or something like that. She's that kind of woman... she will take risks and make sacrifices to reach her goal... even agreeing to let her daughter back to her kidnapper."

"..."

'I have to go back to my house. Mom will be at danger if she tries to offend the devil no matter how scheming she really is.  I thought I have to stay at Teren's house for a while longer.'

Trisha wasn't that sad since it wasn't really her mother sacrificing her. She showed her power back then and that may have persuaded her mother that they could work together.. Her mother must've wanted to make the kidnapper pay without the mysterious woman who can stop Trisha's strength.
