Han looked from left to right as he saw all the soldiers avoiding his gaze. They were all suspicious of Han! Was he telling the truth!? Did Freya really try to kill him first!? If he was telling the truth then it is completely okay for Freya to be killed, but no one knew if it was right or not. Even though these questions kept going through their minds no one dared to speak up for fear of what Han would do
Han smiled. It didn’t matter if they believed him or not. The matter of fact was that he had their contract of submission now and he was the strongest one here! No one would try to go against him!
Freya might have been their king, but no one in this Temple is completely loyal to their kings. From the beginning, we all started out with the same goal in mind. We want to go into the Celestial plane and become immortal. Whether it is under one king or the other did not matter, so long as the person they serve can carry them higher and higher then they will gladly serve! It’s even the same for my own soldiers. If I were to ever lose they wouldn’t bat an eyelash as they move to the next king! That’s why I feel no remorse for them at all!
The first soldier in front finally made a decision as he took off his helmet and fell to one knee.
“All Hail. King Han!!”
This chant caused a ripple that traveled across the entire courtyard as every soldier there began to fall to one knee as well and chant!
“All Hail, King Han! All Hail, King Han! All Hail, King Han!!”
Han accepted the chants with a blank look. It was nothing new to him so he didn’t bother being annoyed by it. Instead, he was glad! Another one down. Just a few more now and I’ll be ready to finally face those Celestials. Just wait for me. I’ll make sure you all regret the day you decided to play with the lives of these many people! Just wait.
…
Quinthreath has been on a small adventure since he left the fifty-fifth floor and decided to go help his friend on floor fifty-nine. When Quinthreath got to the fifty-ninth floor he was angry when he saw how much of the floor was already destroyed!
The fifty-ninth floor was also very large but its design was very different from the other floors below it. There was no ground on this floor. The entire floor was filled with clouds and seven large mountains were floating at various points on the floor. To go anywhere on this floor, you have to fly. But everyone here could fly so there really wasn’t a problem for them.
The mountain that Quinthreath arrived on was on the western side of the floor. He could see just how much damage has already been done to this floor. If only he came sooner he would have been able to help his friend!
Quinthreath commanded the Shadow Hunters that Han gave him to scatter across the floors and help out with any of the fights they see. The Shadow Hunters were immortal so even if they couldn’t change the outcome of the fights on their own they will still be able to provide some breathing space for the people on this floor!
The king that Quinthreath came here to see was known as Ai. She was ranked ninth in the Temple, right below Han, and the number of soldiers she had was even greater than Quinthreath and Freya combined! She was known as the Dark Horse because her Class was Night Walker. To tell the truth, when it came down to battles in the shadow, she was ranked at number seven right below the top three kings. If anyone but those three people tried to fight her in the dark then they would probably lose!
And that was why the floor was not yet lost! The person who was attacking Ai was known as King Troy. He is number seven on the ranking system. Even if he is number seven, the difference in ability between him and Ai is like night and day! When they are fighting in the bright day then King Troy wouldn’t even have to use any ultimate skills to destroy Ai! It would be a one-sided massacre! But it would also be the same if they are fighting in night! King Ai would completely overwhelm King Troy in the night and only his high defense would be able to save him!
King Troy was the strongest Tank in the Temple! His defenses are so high that it is rumored that he can stop a planet-sized attack with his bare hands! Even if he is weaker than you, his defenses are strong enough to protect him from anything that you throw out until he finally wears down your stamina and destroys you! That is King Troy!
And even the people under him were also very strong! His army was more than five hundred thousand in number and they can also use very high defense skills. Quinthreath knew already that this war will not end well even if he and King Ai join forces.
Quinthreath flew away from the mountain he was standing on and towards the central mountain. The fights happening were centered around the other mountains while this particular one was still peaceful. Quinthreath landed on the grassy plane, and he was immediately met by two men who appeared from the ground with long spears! They pointed it at his neck and Quinthreath snarked at them! Who the hell are you pointing those sticks at!?
[Bloodlust] has been activated.
“Get out of my way before I end you. If you think you can fight me then you are very mistaken!”
Quinthreath saw how the men stumbled back when they felt his bloodlust! Even if he was no longer a King who says that he is weak! He is still ranked at number eleven in the Temple and no one else can touch him except for the other kings! The men tried to stand their ground even if they could feel their knees getting weak.
Quinthreath took a step forward and they both quickly moved away from him! His bloodlust was just that scary! But before Quinthreath could do anything to them someone else showed up. It was a Dragonborn with red hair and eyes. He ran towards Quinthreath with a desperate expression on his face!
His name is Jago. He is the right hand of King Ai and he couldn’t believe it when he felt the BloodLust from Quinthreath! How is it possible that their soldiers would be so stupid! How dare they stop him on the way!?
“Please spare them, Quinthreath. They didn’t recognize you. We are fighting a war now so they are just on high alert!”
Jago said this while bowing to Quinthreath! Quinthreath was a black Star and Jago was only a white Star! If Quinthreath wanted to kill all of them then only the king could stop him! Jago stayed like that for some time before he heard Quinthreath tell him to get up.
Jago got up but his expression was still sour. He told the soldiers to leave and he finally spoke to Quinthreath.
“How did you know we were fighting? I don’t think any of our people have been able to send a message yet”
Quinthreath nodded. It was only because of a secret message that Ai sent to him that he even knew that they were in this kind of trouble. Quinthreath didn’t have time to start answering questions like this so he just asked Jago where Ai was. Jago’s face squeezed in pain and he tightened his palms into fists! He couldn’t answer for a while but then he told Quinthreath.
“We thought they just came to talk about diplomatic matters! We didn’t know…!!”
Quinthreath narrowed his eyes and told Jago to take him to Ai. He had to see her and talk to her directly! Jago led Quinthreath to a tent at the edge of the mountain. Quinthreath knew that Ai usually stayed in tents during fights because she didn’t like her soldiers to fight alone. She was a good king even if she was a little naive sometimes.
Inside the tent, Quinthreath saw Ai sitting at the center of the room and wrapping a large bandage around her breasts and midsection. She was grimacing with every move she made and Quinthreath could see that she already lost a lot of blood! What happened to her!?
“You look like you’re going to kill me for getting injured. I’m already this hurt so please don’t start getting angry”
Ai said this with a grimace before she finally finished with the bandage. She was a Tiger feline with white ears and hair. Her body was moderate and her breasts weren’t too big. She has golden eyes that complement her white hair very well! She looked up at Quinthreath and tried to smile at his frown. She was happy to see her friend again.
“I’m happy you came. I don’t know how I can repay your kindness for answering me”
Quinthreath grunted as he entered the tent properly and looked around. There was a bowl of water at the side that already turned red from all the blood they had to clean! How much blood did that bastard take out of Ai!? She looks pale as paper!
Ai tried to stand up but she was so weak that she stumbled! Jago immediately wanted to go and help her but Quinthreath held him back. Why would you try to make your king look even weaker than she already is!? Just let her handle this herself and she will bounce back in time!
The one thing all the kings cherished were their pride and as a lion feline Quinthreath knew Ai was no different. It is best to let her do things like this herself!
