From a high point far away from the fight in the city, Yue stood and watched in awe as a great explosion echoed over the entire city from the final collision. She was there and watched everything happen. It was one of the greatest battles she ever experienced. And in a way, it ended in the exact way she knew it would.

Her brother was a smart man, but he allowed his hatred for the creator to blind him! There was never going to be a world where he would have won against Han! Couldn’t he have just realized it earlier!? They wouldn’t have to fight if he just realized it before! But no! He just had to be a big dumdum!

But he was still her brother and she wished there had been some other way to save him. Yue saw Han standing in the distance and she smiled as she waved at him.

Maybe her brother was dead, but she was not alone! Her father was still here!

….

Han stood over the body of the defeated Tyrian and grunted as he felt a small ache in his right hand. His right hand was completely bloody, and he was sure he broke at least one bone there! But he won! That was all that mattered.

Han chuckled. Since when did he stop caring about injuries like this? If he was still his former self, he would be crying about it by now. But he already knew he would be able to fix himself up. There was no need to mourn the loss of his arm.

Han looked at all the skills that were coming in and he was shocked! Why was he getting so many skills at once!? Wasn’t it supposed to be only one skill that he would gain from defeating a chosen? And they were all high-level skills too!?

But why was the description so silly? What kind of system was this?

[Uh… Hello?]

Han blinked as he heard a voice and then shook his head. He must be going mad. He needed to find somewhere to rest because he was suddenly hearing things. Yes, he needed to go find Yue first.

[Hey! Don’t just ignore me!!]

Han stopped in his tracks as the voice shouted louder and he sighed. He could ignore it. He could just ignore it and never even look back! But… Han palmed his face and then dared to answer.

“Hello -”

Han vanished and appeared in another white void. He looked around him and he noticed that this one wasn’t the same as the void he usually goes to whenever he wanted to travel to the future. This void was much smaller. Where was he?

“Ah, you’re here? Finally!! I thought you would never be ready!”

Han turned around quickly and saw a man sitting on a white platform with his legs crossed. He had red hair with black highlights and his smile was extremely bright. There was nothing very different between him and a normal human being, except for one major difference being that the left side of his face was filled with robotic implants. A robotic eye, a metal ear, and even metallic skin that glowed and shimmered under the white light.

Han eyed him for a moment in distrust. He had just come out from a fight so he was very cautious with anybody that was coming near him now. But why was he here all of a sudden? How did this man even pull him in here?

“And that’s why – Hey! Are you even listening to me!? I’ve been talking for like two minutes!”

Han turned his attention to the man again and realised he hadn’t been listening all this while. He coughed into his hand and frowned as he immediately pretended like he was listening! The man grumbled but Han ignored the childish act and asked something.

“Who are you?”

The man sighed before he stood upon the platform and shrugged.

“That’s what I’ve been trying to tell you all this time, but you just wouldn’t listen! Maybe I should just not tell you, huh? Then you can leave!”

Han eyed the idiot for a second before turning and beginning to walk away. He was sure he could find a way out of here if he really tried. Maybe it was inside his head? He would be able to wake himself up or something like that?

“Hey! Wait! I was joking! Just joking!”

Han turned back with a glare!

“Don’t joke around and just tell me what you want! I’m not in the best mood right now!”

Yeesh. The man grimaced. Somebody was in a bad mood.

“Alright fine. Maybe you’ll listen to me a little more after I tell you something important. In the next one week. There will be four people that will invade your planet. They will be beings of such great strength that you have never seen before. Their job there is to bring the one that is victorious back to the temple of Celestials”

Han narrowed his eyes and then turned to face the man fully. He was not believing the man at all! And what was this Temple? Han never heard anything about that before.

“And what exactly are they bringing me back for? Wait, no. That is the wrong question. Who are you and how do you know this?”

The man hummed. Well, it was only natural that Han wouldn’t trust him. They only met a few minutes ago!

“How do I know that? Well, I guess you can say I’m used to things like that. It is the way things have been done for millennia and I don’t see it changing at all over time. I guess you can even say that I am one of them. A Celestial”

Han’s eyes widened. Was that not what Regulus said just before he died. Something about the Celestials being the true servants of the creator? So, this man was one of them? But could Han believe him just like this?

Han was still a bit skeptical about everything, but he decided that he needed some answers first. Whether he would use them or not would come up later.

“So, you are the servant of that creator?”

An indescribable amount of hatred appeared on the face of the man and Han almost took a step back at the sheer anger showing in his eyes. Did he hate the creator this much!?

“Don’t ever call me a servant to that thing again! I serve nobody!”

Han tensed for a fight, but the man managed to calm himself down as he touched the side of his head and massaged the mechanical part of his face. Han waited for him to calm down a little before speaking again.

“Okay, so why did you call me here? I don’t think you called me here for a history lesson”

Finally, the man began to explain exactly who he was to Han. Han listened to him for a long time, and he couldn’t believe what he was hearing. It turns out that this man was, actually, not a human at all. He was a race of cyborgs called the Binaries that lived in the ‘Celestial Plane’. He was not just any Binaries though, he was the leader of the Binaries! The strongest of them.

He told Han all about the Temple of the Celestials. Apparently, it was a dungeon-like place where the chosen were usually sent to after they were done with their ‘testing period’. Those two words irritated Han the moment he heard them. The fact that this man called everything he had been through a simple testing period.

But the man laughed at Han’s expression and just told Han that he would be far more shocked once he heard the rest.
