A smile could be seen on Ruby's face as she followed behind Gray.

She was wearing a large furry hat which covered her horns.

The air around her had gone from tense to cheerful.

Violet and Aurora who noticed couldn't help but smile as they watched.

It made sense for her to be this happy, after all, Gray was able to... Convince, the president to trust in their idea.

.

.

"Surely it was all an unexpected coincidence, right?" He asked with a smile. "After all, god knows how the people would react if they were to find out that there was more to the story... Even I'd like to know."

Gray was referring to the fact that the president and corps executive were hiding something from him and the people.

The president's hands trembled slightly whilst he was lost in deep thought.

There was only one option for him, only one.

"...Very well... You can take them. I'll have a soldier accompany you over to where those who are caught are being kept prisoners..."

And that was to accept it.

The group was being led by the calm officer Gray had met after leaving his room. He was instructed to take them over to the prison and give them full access to the facility.

He explained that they were going to be moving the prisoners to another location.

Without questioning it, he did as told.

He took them throughout the facility before eventually coming to a stop with them ahead of two large gates.

This door required not only a pass but a security code of sorts to open.

As the officer put in the numbers, Gray gave it a glance, memorising them in a flash before the doors opened.

'Two, Seven, Nine, Eight, FIve.'

Upon opening, their hairs swayed back as they were instantly greeted with a strong cold gust of wind.

Ahead of them was a prison.

A large hall with countless jail cells sorted out one next to the other.

Inside, horned ones with specialised cuffs could be seen being pushed around to their cells by the other officers in the sight.

Gray had been explained by the officer that these cuffs apparently nullified ones ability. How were they made? Gray didn't know.

They weren't created by the Government, but rather the corporation instead... If they had access to such technology, why did they feel threatened by Gray? They doubted that it would work on him.

But that doesn't mean they never planned on trying, so Gray never let the possibility for them to plan such a thing to slip by his mind.

At the end of the hall, there was an upward slope which led up.

Through the upward slope, even more constrained horned ones descended. They were accompanied by other officers, most of which carried a sword, knives or spear on themselves.

The horned ones were visibly frustrated but they weren't putting up a fight or trying to escape even.

Ruby stared silently at the sight ahead of her without saying anything. Gray glanced at her and couldn't tell what she was thinking.

Her expression was still and calm.

A few eyes from the officers could be felt at the back of their heads as they were watched, but they ignored it without showing any care.

It was probably Ruby's furry hat which was drawing some attention.

"Alright, before we do this, I'll go over the plan again." Said Gray.

They had previously discussed a plan. It was rather simple.

Get all the horned ones and put it on a naval fleet. Then Ruby would handle the rest and eventually they'd arrive at their world.

The air was apparently breathable like Earth, but Gray didn't know if there would be any side effects so he needed to be prepared.

"Aurora and Violet, you'll both be in charge of preparing our things, loot and stock up anything you can get your hands on in this refugee camp. Lara, go get your kids and then help them out. Me and Ruby will deal with handle all of this." Said Gray.

Lara nodded but Aurora and Violet both seemed to frown as they stared at him.

"What...? Is there something on the back of my head?" Gray asked nervously.

"N-Nothing...!" Said Aurora, shaken that he had caught her staring.

"E-Eyes apparently!" Violet added, surprised.

Gray chuckled.

There was probably something bothering them, although he wanted to ask, right now they had bigger priorities.

The longer they took, the worst the situation would be. Ruby knew this which was why she had been growing impatient.

Not wanting to waste anymore time, Gray turned to the officer.

"Where does that upward slope lead to?" Gray asked the officer.

"It leads outside. They've been bringing in the horned ones in ever since you've defeated the king." The officer replied.

"I see...By the way, what's your name?"

"The name is Liam." Said The Officer.

"Alright, Liam. What's the best way to go about doing this?"

Liam pulled out a spare card which unlocked the doors and a platinum badge from his pocket before handing it over to Gray.

"I was told to give this to you once you've arrived. With this, all officers must obey your command... No questions asked." He spoke.

"Alright, thank you." Said Gray as he grabbed the badge. "Do you think you could accompany them back?" He added as he pointed at the three.

Liam adjusted his cap and nodded. He walked over to the door and pulled out another card before gesturing at the others to follow him.

They did as told and followed after him, not wanting to hold up the plan any longer.

"Gray... After all of this, we need to talk." Said Lara quietly as she leaned towards him.

After saying so, she hastily walked away and when she did, for a single moment Gray noticed that she appeared to be slightly embarrassed at the thought of something.

'I need to tell him that if he's going to do things like that, he needs to use protection... This isn't the time to mention or think about it... But I should still let him know just in case...'

Such was Lara's thought process as she rushed away before the others realised.

"Alright?" Gray replied, wondering just what it could be.

Once they were all gone, Gray and Ruby finally got to moving.

Ruby had remained quiet, for the last few moments and just like before, Gray couldn't tell what she was thinking.

"OI! WHAT PART OF GET A MOVE ON DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND YOU DIPSHIT!? GET UP!" One of the officers shouted.

At the scene, a green haired horned one could be seen, on his hands and knees, he had tripped over and fallen. Based on the colour of the horns on his head, he was mid-rank, green.

The officer kicked at him, yelling at him to get up. Although, he looked extremely angered he held it in, slowly getting up as instructed.

But it was precisely when he got that he was tripped over again by the officer.

"Fucking rats... All of you." He said, as he pulled his leg back to kick him in the face, once more.

As he kicked forward, swinging his head on his face. He was stopped by Gray who appeared out of nowhere grabbing his leg.

"Calm down, Ruby."

Beside him, he was holding on to Ruby who had her first clenched up, stopped right before the officer's face.

"W-When did you...!?" Startled, the officer dropped back, landing on his butt "Wait... Gray hair, yellow eyes... You're...!"

Ruby pulled her fist back. "I was just trying to scare him."

Without realising who Gray was, one of the officers blew a whistle and the other officers in the scene turned their attention to the two as they pulled out their weapons.

Before they could make a move, Gray raised his arm up into the arm, showing the platinum badge before he cleared his throat and said.

"All of you listen up. We've received orders from the president and have been given complete control over the operation. You all must obey to my every command."

The instant they saw his badge, they stopped in their tracks and lowered their weapons.

Gray's expression grew puzzled as one by one they saluted to him.

'Was this badge really that special?'

The officer who was on the floor ahead of him trembled with his eyes wide opened as he realised just how much he really fucked up.

He got on his fours and began to apologise like his life depended on it, Gray honestly didn't blame him, it was the enemy which caused the death of many.

"It's fine, get up. Rather than that-"

Gray was interrupted as another voice called out towards Ruby from one of the cells beside her.

"Princess Ruby?"

Turning to the cell, Ruby's eyes widened.

Long snow white hair and golden irises. Wearing a slightly dirtied Yukata from mud, a beauty with dishevelled hair could be seen sat inside of the cell.

"Duchess Charlotte!?"
