Lee Bat Fan raised his brows, anger portrayed in his lofty gaze for the first time.
He came to Southern Heaven Inn with a clear motive, which he openly displayed. When Lee Bat Fan arrived, he began nurturing his sword intent.
Tracing back hundreds of years ago, the Lee Clan was not a gliphist clan, but a clan famous for their swordsmanship. The current famous Southern swordsmanship clans, the Fok Clan and Siu Clan had yet to emerge.
Everything took a turn when one of the Lee Clan leaders married an amazing gliphist at the peak of the hundred-gliphic state. Maybe her powerful genetics were the reason, but from then on, the clan saw an increase in direct disciples being born gliphists, and naturally, they became a famous powerful clan of gliphists after many generations.
It was an arduous and extremely time-consuming process. A good example was Siu Suet turning her clan’s famous swordsmanship into archery. It also required a lot of talent to improve and perfect the results.
Yet, the Lee Clan never found themselves lacking time.
Hundreds of years later, the Lee Clan was still an influential clan as well as one of the four military clans of the South.
Lee Bat Fan’s mother Lee Sin Yee was the best gliphist of their clan apart from the clan leader.
All the above reasons were sufficient to support Lee Bat Fan’s arrogance.
Lee Bat Fan’s sword intent surged as he moved up the restaurant. He had never felt more energetic than now, and Lee Bat Fan knew that he was in his best state. My performance later on will definitely be superb.
The best scenario would be for Lee Bat Fan to attack instantly with the sword intent that he nurtured for some time, take the opponent down forcefully, and cut off the other’s possibility of counterattack.
Lee Bat Fan went through countless methods in his head to make this plan succeed, but sadly, things did not go as planned.
Kam Chin Kee seemed unperturbed and even invited him to make the first move politely. Lee Bat Fan was very sure that Kam Chin Kee could sense the strong sword intent he nurtured, yet the other invited him to make the first move. It could only mean one thing – Kam Chin Kee could not be bothered.
This response angered Lee Bat Fan greatly. His white robe fluttered in the air, the fan in his hand somehow tucked back into his waist, replaced with a green palm-sized sword that seemed to be made of jade.
The small sword would leave everyone familiar with the Lee Clan in great shock.
This was the legendary treasure of their clan – the Jade Intent Sword that was passed down for many generations, of equivalent importance to the Ink Dragon Armour of the Chor Clan.
The Jade Intent Sword was made by the powerful female cultivator who married into their clan and left to be nurtured in the Lee Clan. The clan never once took it out, but now, it was with Lee Bat Fan and even connected with his aura. This only meant that the teen had turned his clan’s treasure into his own! Once something was turned into a gliphist’s treasure, nobody would be able to make use of it until the gliphist’s death!
Lee Bat Fan’s sword intent peaked when he pulled out the treasure.
Lee Bat Fan activated his energliph and sword intent, drawing countless thin, silver sword gliphs in the air. Thanks to his treasure, he was able to perform so fantastically.
Lee Bat Fan held the small jade sword like it was an invisible long sword.
After breaking through his innate chamber, Lee Bat Fan created his personal gliph, Drizzle Sword, and was bestowed the Jade Intent Sword by his current clan leader, his grandfather, as a treasure.
It would drizzle when he slashed down with his sword.
Instantly, all the silver swords that filled the sixth floor surged towards their aim as if receiving a command.
Their aim was none other than Kam Chin Kee!
Boom! The loud noise and vibration throughout the restaurant scared the drunk Chau Chung, causing him to jump up with a scream. “Earthquake, there’s an earthquake! There’s an earth…”
Thud! The slightly drunk On Kuet smacked him hard on his neck, making him faint. “Such a noisy kid!”
He took a glance at Chui Yim, who looked unaffected as he continued consuming wine enjoyably. “This taste is great!”
On Kuet, who had gotten a crown prince badge, knew clearly that the energy wave belonged to Lee Bat Fan. On a normal basis, he sparred with Lee Bat Fan and knew how greatly the other had improved; even he was not confident in defeating the other. However, Chui Yim didn’t seem to care.
Boom! They heard another boom, and then footsteps could be heard walking up the staircase. Other than Wong Chow Yip and Chau Chung who were blackout drunk and Chui Yim who was still drinking, the others turned around subconsciously.
A teenager walked in with two jugs of wine. His smooth black hair flowed down his back, and he wore an apologetic smile. “Sorry for the wait.”
Chui Yim did not even bother to take a look and placed the original jug that was now empty on the ground. It was right on time as he had just finished his current jug. He reached out his hands, and Kam Chin Kee who understood his intention placed another in his hands.
On Kuet wore a serious expression, Lee Bak was filled with passion to battle, Chor Kwong Laan was badly shocked, and Chor Shing Chit felt at ease with the results; of course, the stronger the person next to Chui Yim was, the safer Chui Yim would be.
Lee Bat Fan was sprawled across the fifth floor, staring at the ceiling blankly. There was a huge hole in the ceiling, which was where he just fell from.
His clean, white robe was now dirty and torn, looking like it was picked up from the bin. However, Lee Bat Fan couldn’t bother with his apperance right now, as the shocking scene replayed in front of him once again.
All he saw was a huge mountain appear out of the blue right on his head to counter his attack.
Lee Bat Fan was in utter disbelief. There was no way such a huge gliph could be congealed within such a short period of time. How speedy must Kam Chin Kee be to… no, this is beyond the single-gliphic state!
Facing danger, he turned the silver swords to block the mountain.
Sadly, the silver swords were shattered, and the mountain still came down on him, sending him down to the fifth level. Lee Bat Fan knew that if Kam Chin Kee wanted, he would be dead now.
His thoughts trailed back to the mountain once again. Of course, he wouldn’t know that it was Cerulean Mountain of mysterious Cloud Palace, but he was sure that to be able to draw gliphs at such a fast speed, Kam Chin Kee must be in the ten-gliphic state, or have ability equivalent to that.
But no matter which, it now made sense why Kam Chin Kee seemed unbothered by him. Which ten-gliphic gliphist would take a single-gliphic gliphist’s taunting seriously?
At this moment, Lee Bat Fan felt like laughing, yet he was sad at the same time. Thus, he smiled bitterly as tears of unwillingness rolled down his cheeks, disappearing into the wooden planks next to him as the price of his arrogance.
