It was the day after National Day, yet South Imperial City was still bustling with festive vibes. The incidents that took place in the Evergreen Palace also spread like fire. The guest list for the celebration was extensive, after all. Therefore, everyone now knew that Lam Ming Sum had terrific culinary skills, how the princesses were not on good terms, how On Pak Hin scolded Lam Mei Mei in anger, how Kam Chin Kee was gifted a citrine ghost jade, and more.

Everyone, even those lining up to enter the city, was discussing this, except for two teenagers.

One was donned in a green robe and chewed on some hay while the other stood next to him respectfully and quietly.

“I say, can you not be so respectful? I’d rather you be rude and unfriendly like how you were previously.” The teen in green sighed at the quiet teen behind him. The other wore a bright red robe with purple flowers embroidered on it.

“Master-”

“Stop addressing me as Master.” He sighed at how huge and mystical the universe was. The two teens were none other than Yeung Tin Hun and Man Yee Ho, who had traveled from the North. Their journey was a dangerous one, but having reincarnated with their memories intact, they improved rapidly and rarely came across something that could threaten them.

After half a year, they finally arrived at their destination, South Imperial City.

During their journey, they coincidentally realised they reincarnated from the same world, and Yeung Tin Hun happened to save Man Yee Ho’s life once as well as give him advice regarding martial arts. After that, they never met again.

Yet Man Yee Ho always viewed Yeung Tin Hun as his master and even became successful with the martial arts Yeung Tin Hun taught him.

But that was in the past. Man Yee Ho kept addressing Yeung Tin Hun as Master and treated him with respect after recognizing him, much to Yeung Tin Hun’s displeasure.

Yeung Tin Hun loved freedom and always acted without restraint. He disliked such relations, and even his official disciple was only someone that he was forced to take in.

Now, Man Yee Ho’s attitude towards him made him uneasy, yet Man Yee Ho continued despite Yeung Tin Hun trying to convince him for the past few months, and Yeung Tin Hun could only accept it unwillingly now. Thus, he let Man Yee Ho be as he cultivated energliph.

“Master, you have to break through to the two-chambered state as fast as possible.”

“Why?” Yeung Tin Hun was surprised.

“Because I feel that I’m about to break through my innate chamber, and Master would be unhappy if Master loses to me when that happens,” Man Yee Ho said seriously after some hesitation.

This made Yeung Tin Hun laugh out of anger. “Arrogant kid! Do you think reincarnation gives you wings to fly? Come, let me teach you how a human being should behave!”

The duo bickered on their way, and Man Yee Ho’s words eased the awkwardness between them. Well, even the storytellers at inns or restaurants would never think about such a storyline – reincarnating and reuniting in another world!

The duo was at a loss on how to treat each other, and it would take them time to figure it out in the future. However, it felt great to meet someone from the same hometown in a foreign place. This was the reason why they were able to spend half a year together.

As soon as they entered the city, Yeung Tin Hun looked around. “Boy, do you or Imperial Sunset Palace have any plans for you?”

“No.” Man Yee Ho shook his head. Amongst the three biggest Northern organisations, Imperial Sunset Palace was the most mysterious. Other than their famous Imperial Empress, Man Chin Hung, the world knew nothing about their sect. In fact, they learned from Cloud Palace to not poke their nose into worldly matters and would only lend a helping hand when the North was in danger. They spent most of their time cultivating in the mountains, and any disciple of theirs who travelled the world was one of the best of their generation.

Man Chin Hung obviously had the intention of letting Man Yee Ho experience the world, thus she did not arrange any specific plans for him.

“Then come with me. My first uncle came to the South a long time ago to prepare for me.” Yeung Tin Hun laughed. Man Yee Ho only nodded silently, and Yeung Tin Hun who understood him well knew that it was just his character.

The duo came to a wall next to the city entrance. Yeung Tin Hun looked around, and after realising that nobody was looking at them, he reached out his hand and placed it on the wall. Activating his energliph, colourful energliph covered the wall, and a sentence was seen on the wall.

“Blue Dragon Avenue, Wandering Son’s Lake residence.”

The teen exchanged glances. “Let’s go.”
