After Chui Yim and Lam Ming Sum reunited, Lam Ming Sum paid the Wandering Son’s Lake residence frequent visits and prepared Chui Yim and Kam Chin Kee meals every time she came, much to Kan Hang’s displeasure.

However, Lam Ming Sum insisted, and here she was, a “Servant-Maid-Princess” who threw Ping Chi off his feet when he came to stay.

Under Yeung Chun’s and Lam Ming Sum’s care, the quality of Kam Chin Kee’s and Chui Yim’s meals improved, and the former even gained weight!

Chui Yim also forged a good relationship with Hui Sai Cheong, who always greeted Chui Yim – to be exact, the wine Chui Yim secretly brought him – with a wide smile.

It was the end of another school day. As always, Hui Sai Cheong secretly brought Chui Yim to the small arena of the outer sect after all the other disciples left. Chui Yim was left speechless at his actions.

You’re so big… such a round man acting so surreptitiously will only increase suspicions!

“Little Brother Chui… what delicious wine do you have today?” Hui Sai Cheong was naturally much older than Chui Yim as well as one of Cloud Palace’s mysterious disciples. But the way Hui Sai Cheong stared at Chui Yim with anticipation and desire made Chui Yim feel like an evil drug dealer, while Hui Sai Cheong was a man who became a drug addict due to wrong life choices.

“You’re lucky today.” Chui Yim opened his left hand, revealing a small bottle of wine.

“Pentachromatic divine rock?” Hui Sai Cheong eyed Chui Yim’s bracelet. “Not bad.”

Chui Yim glared at him. His respect for Cloud Palace’s seven disciples had decreased after witnessing the alcoholic side of Hui Sai Cheong. “You recognize it?”

“Why wouldn’t I?” Hui Sai Cheong chuckled and pulled out a small knife – small only in comparison to Hui Sai Cheong’s plumper-than-average hands.

This was a kitchen knife, and one that left Chui Yim in disbelief. There was a simple-looking round stone at the end of the handle, and upon closer look, it shone with five-colored light! Is that a pentachromatic divine rock?

“Part of my kitchen knife was made of pentachromatic divine rock!” Hui Sai Cheong explained, kept his knife, and proceeded to stare at the small bottle in Chui Yim’s hand longingly. He was too embarrassed to act proactively. “Erm, Little Brother Chui, what’s that?”

“You made a kitchen knife with a pentachromatic divine rock!? How does that enhance g-food!?” Chui Yim ignored him.

“It looks beautiful, so I use it as decoration. I also keep my most used ingredients inside; it keeps them very fresh.” Hui Sai Cheong giggled and flashed Chui Yim a thumbs up.

Chui Yim took a deep breath and constantly reminded himself that this stout middle-aged man was actually a legendary figure, so him owning an extravagant pentachromatic divine rock and using it for decoration was reasonable and fair

“Open it and you’ll know.” Chui Yim side-eyed him and left after passing Hui Sai Cheong the bottle.

After spending almost all his savings on the everlasting wood, he almost went broke, and life only became better after making Matchless Guardian for Lee Bak and taking in orders from Chow Chung recently. Currently, he felt like a rich man again.Yet here was Hui Sai Cheong, using an ingredient he couldn’t even afford as decoration! How hurtful this piece of information was to Chui Yim! Especially after recalling how Hui Sai Cheong gave him a thumbs up and said it keeps his ingredients very fresh…

I feel like dying…

Hui Sai Cheong opened the bottle carefully and gasped. He smelled the strong aroma clearly in an instant!

“Thousand Miles Aroma!” With lightning speed, he shut the bottle and looked at it with heart eyes. “Good stuff… good stuff…”

While Hui Sai Cheong was fawning over the bottle, a gentle voice rang from behind him. “Junior Brother, what are you doing?”

The voice sent Hui Sai Cheong trembling and jumping up like he saw a monster. His white, round face twisted together, whining, “First… Senior… Brother…”

“Hehe.” The man walked over, standing behind Hui Sai Cheong. He was a gentle-looking man who seemed no more than thirty years old. With long, black hair tied into a ponytail and a white scholar robe, he looked just like a hardworking scholar.

“First Senior Brother… I…” Hui Sai Cheong stammered to explain himself, but the scholarly man only put out his palm with a chuckle.

Hui Sai Cheong’s face twisted further in sadness, but he did as told with extreme unwillingness after much contemplation.

“An act of rebellion, I see. Drinking in secret. No wonder guilt washed over you every time you came across me for the past few months. I knew that something was up.” The scholarly man smiled faintly, and his voice was so soft, like the breeze of spring.

On the other hand, Hui Sai Cheong was feeling helpless and upset, like it was pouring down on him.

The senior brother ignored Hui Sai Cheong and watched as Chui Yim walked further off. “This boy… not bad.”

Hui Sai Cheong regained energy instantly. Maybe because Chui Yim became his wine supplier a few months ago, he somehow took Chui Yim as a comrade and forgot his displeasure instantly to speak up for him. “Indeed, indeed. Look at how powerful his body is. Even I might not have been as strong when I was at his state! He has a great character, and loyal too…”

“Great character because he was willing to bring you wine, right?” The scholarly man looked at Hui Sai Cheong weirdly.

The other shut up immediately.

The man turned back and watched Chui Yim leave with a meaningful look. “Junior Brother, I’m sure you understand that we, Cloud Palace, do not look at such conditions,” he said.

“Other than following your heart, nothing else matters.

“This is what Cloud Palace is.

“Good candidate? We’ll see…”

The inter-school exchange was like the climax of a peaceful life. Now that the inter-school exchange had come to an end, the institutions returned to their normal lives.

However, the crowd was waiting for the next climax – the Cloud Palace enrollment that was going to take place half a year later.

The Cloud Palace outer sect was established for the purpose of actual enrollment. The inter-school exchange was only an early peak at this generation’s talents.

The best gliphist representative would be the greatly talented Kong Yau with her personal Blue Galaxy gliph and her self-created gliph, Star Lock.

Lee Bak from the Metallic Blood War Gate also proved his powerful capability. Adding on Matchless Guardian, he had become even stronger.

Apart from them, Sung Hau and Sze Fung’s new disciple Suen San Kuk had half a year more to practice their Thunderstorm Sword and Yi Qi’s Graceful Footwork respectively.
