Woo Nim frowned. The Giant Demonic Spider’s determination to kill them was beyond her expectations! She was mid-air, and the spider was catching up to her swiftly. Woo Nim also noticed that almost all of the spider’s eight legs had turned red, becoming sturdy and rendering her gliphility useless.

Eyes flaring with anger, the spider shot its web at Woo Nim! The spider web was almost a hundred meters large with hints of dark green and an extreme stench, making Woo Nim nauseous!

What a terrifying gliphic beast!

Just as the Metallic Blood War Gate gliphers Woo Nim was dragging were horrified, energliph lit up from Woo Nim’s right leg and chest again. Boom! Vigorous energliph emerged out of her right leg and shattered her boots! This launched them upwards further into the sky!

Eeeeekk!!!! Unwillingness filled the spider’s shrieks. But no matter how upset it was, it was already descending. Even when Woo Nim and the gliphers were wrapped by energliph, the spider’s cries still rang in their ears.

The group of humans literally disappeared into thin air.

Chui Yim collapsed while atop the clouds. He didn’t have the energy to care about the comfortable fluffy texture as he coughed loudly, vomiting blood. The pale Mung Si trembled slightly at the side. She wanted to step forward but brushed the thought away and remained quiet.

“Chui Yim! Are you crazy!” Kam Chin Kee rushed forward to check on him, but after coughing blood, excitement washed over Chui Yim’s face.

“Haha! I survived! Haha! That damned spider has nothing on me!” Having escaped death, Chui Yim cheered loudly, ignoring the weird stares he got from rest of the teens. Even he was greatly astonished that he survived the spider’s pursuit. He thought he’d wake up in heaven when he forcefully blocked the spider’s strike.

But to his surprise, he survived the deadly predicament!

At the same time, Woo Nim and two gliphers suddenly appeared on the cloud beside them.

Eeek!! They could hear the spider’s eerie cries even this high up in the clouds! Sung Hau, the troublemaker, shook as he hid behind Lee Bak fearfully.

“All of you are here.” Cheuk Kwun looked around and spoke. “We’ll leave now. This marks the end of our trip.”

“Mister Cheuk.” Someone spoke up. Chui Yim looked over subconsciously to see a familiar face. It was the teenager who fought for the unnamed fire beads back at the auction house with Chui Yim and Kam Chin-Kee. The current imperial physician Kune Hip’s direct disciple, Woo Hung!

It didn’t take Chui Yim long to notice the teen lying next to Woo Hung, Chor Kwong Laan.

“Mister Cheuk, can you teleport us back to South Imperial City immediately? Chor Kwong Laan is seriously injured, and I’m afraid his life will be at risk if we do not return as soon as possible.”

Cheuk Kwun’s face fell. His sluggish expression couldn’t hide his exhaustion. “I’ve used up more than half of my energliph when I teleported all of you up. I can’t draw any long-distance teleportation gliph formation right now. Try your best to stabilise his condition for now.”

Woo Hung’s brows creased as he stared at Chor Kwong Laan solemnly.

“Get lost.” Suddenly, a huge force pushed Woo Hung aside. Woo Hung turned around to look at the culprit angrily. It was Chui Yim.

This immediately sparked the curiosity of the surrounding Metallic Blood War Gate and Cloud Palace outer sect disciples. The Cloud Palace outer sect didn’t lack future glipheons, but Woo Hung’s title as the imperial physician’s direct disciple was too domineering; nobody wanted to embarrass themselves when even Woo Hung couldn’t save Chor Kwong Laan.

However, Chui Yim was different from them. The teen who gained fame recently due to his “New Rich” series was also Doctor Odd Ping Chi’s direct disciple! Ping Chi was no less famous than Kune Hip.

Now, the teens couldn’t care about their weird situation, high above the clouds, as their gaze fixated on Chui Yim and Woo Hung like they were watching an interesting show.

Chui Yim was solemn as he inspected Chor Kwong Laan’s condition. He was indeed seriously injured. At his side, Woo Hung let out a sneer.

“His left arm chamber’s gliph has been destroyed, and he’s now suffering the backlash. This isn’t a case that someone like you can cure.” Woo Hung spoke so arrogantly that he seemed to forget he was in a similar state as Chui Yim.

The latter ignored him and looked closer at Chor Kwong Laan’s arms. It was a weird injury; there was a huge tear in the middle of Chor Kwong Laan’s arm as if the beast gave up while chewing Chor Kwong Laan’s arm. Chui Yim didn’t know that this was due to Cheuk Kwun, who forcefully saved Chor Kwong Laan from the spider’s bite!

The Chor Clan’s spiral dragon was an extremely complicated gliph, and the gliph tattooed on the current generation had been simplified. The Spiral Dragon Claw gliph and Spiral Dragon Head gliph were all part of the Spiral Dragon. Due to its great complexity, the gliph was huge.

One-third of Chor Kwong Laan’s Spiral Dragon Claw gliph was destroyed. Gliphs were seen as a perfect entity, another form of Heaven and Earth energy. Only by tattooing a specific picture could a person store the energy in him and use it as his own. When a gliph was destroyed, the stabiliser for the energy was destroyed, resulting in a dangerous and unstable situation.

The best example would be Mo-Yung Kwong, the cultivator who attacked Kan Hang and Lam Ming Sum. He died a pitiful death under Kan Hang’s hand because his gliph was destroyed.

Chor Kwoong Laan’s situation was even worse than Mo-Yung Kwong’s. The Spiral Dragon gliph was tattooed with dragon drool grass. It was a Plantae faction gliph that was extremely violent, with a greater backlash than most other gliphs. Moreover, one-third of the gliph was destroyed, and Chui Yim could feel the violent energy gushing out of the broken gliph, trying to escape.

“There is only one method.” Chui Yim muttered to himself and slapped the jade on his waist, a set of needles appearing in his hand which appalled Woo Hung.

“What are you doing, Chui Yim!”

“We can only perform gliph mending on him.” Chui Yim answered calmly.

“Gliph mending?” Woo Hung stared at him in disbelief. “What do you think you are? A great master?”

Chui Yim didn’t respond as he laid out his Thirty-Six Night Lunar Needles that glowed. The surrounding spectators held their breath when they felt Chui Yim’s focused aura. Even those who disliked him didn’t find any trouble with him now.

Woo Hung looked around as his face flushed red. He was trying to find someone who supported him in stopping Chui Yim, but Woo Nim had closed her eyes to rest while Cheuk Kwun only shrugged after feeling his gaze. “What are you looking at? I’m not a glipheon.”

This made Woo Hung go crazy as he yelled. “Get lost, Chui Yim! Stop embarrassing us glipheons!” He pushed the needles set out of Chui Yim’s kneels onto the cloud.

“I’ll kill you if you make another move!”
