"Umm... So you want me to make a building? How do I do that?" Shukaku was being taught how to make buildings by Shiroken.
Shiroken was having a problem putting all the plans in Shukaku's head. "Umm, I even got the whole floor plan enlarged for you to see, Shukaku. It should be easy for you to understand now."
"Huh, his thick skull can't comprehend such things, Shiro. He's very dumb." Kurama scoffed from the side.
Shukaku glared angrily at him, "YOU STUPID DOMESTICATED FOX! I never surrendered myself to a kid. I am the one with a big brain here.."
Kurama rolled his eyes and clapped, "Sure, you made your Jinchuriki a crazed little kid. Way to go, you must be proud of bullying a little kid."
Shiroken quickly mediated before the situation turned worse. "Come on you two, I asked you to be here to help me deal with this construction. And Shukaku, do you not want something to do while you live here? Like how Seiken, Isobu and even Chomei have something."
Shukaku would be lying if he said he didn't want that. He wanted to feel valued, and for that, it was important to have something to do, to show the people that he was doing something for them. Though he hated the people.
"These designs are simplified for you. If Kurama can understand them, why can't you?" Shiroken asked.
"Um... all these calculations don't make sense to me. Why don't you just give me a good Nidama clan member so he can tell me everything? Wherever he tells me to build the wall, I will build." Shukaku suggested.
Shiroken thought about whom to send to him. "Hmm, then let's do this. This way, you can slowly learn everything. Just remember one thing, we need to make this whole palace have the entrance and the hall big enough to accommodate all the Bijju together and still leave more space for Kurosaki and his family."
Shukaku looked at the destroyed site, "Hmm... so you want it big. I can do that. OYE! Go away, fox. I've got work, unlike you."
Shiroken chuckled and left with Kurama to find a villager to send here. He sat on Kurama's back as he walked and talked.
"Kurama, now that you're back, what are you going to do?" He inquired since he didn't have any idea himself. There was no job fitting for Kurama.
"Hmm... I shall be the protector of Dama Country." Kurama proclaimed.
Like a light bulb lighting in his head, Shiroken had an idea, "OH! I know what you can do. We have a lot of civil servants across the whole country, and soon the whole world. I will need someone trustworthy to keep everyone in line. So, why don't you take that office? I think all the officials will do better if they fear you taking action against him."
"Oh... this kind of work? I would love it. It's like working while loving normally." Kurama was totally onboard.
"Nice, but before that. All of you need to get sealed with me. Only this way we can all be connected all the time and I can assure you are all safe. I don't want to lose you all again." Shiroken emotionally said and hugged Kurama's furry head.
Kurama nodded, "Me too, Shiro. But... I must say, things have become much better now. We have a whole country under us and one day we will have the whole world."
"And that day is not too far from now." Shiroken looked at the sky as he said that.
One could say he was looking at the sky in hope, but the truth was, he was looking up because he was wondering when his enemies would come down. He surely hoped it doesn't happen anytime soon.
...
Shiroken knew one thing, to make the world understand who was bringing the good days, they needed to be reminded about it again and again.
Hence, in every single product produced by or sold by Dama Country anywhere, there was a photo of Dama Country's logo.
It was important to make people aware. Since this was no normal fight, it was an ideological war. On one side, it was the old villages and clans, with their mindset that a Shinobi's job is to fight. Then there was Shiroken's side, which said that no matter who you are, unreasonable violence is a crime.
Of course, this ideology wasn't welcomed by most. Yet the commoners and non-shinobi loved it. Shiroken's focus on increasing trade helped the people.
Many villages in the countries now under Shrioken had the ability to produce something on a large scale. These villages used to suffer because there was no way to sell their goods.
Now, with the always passing by Trade Caravan of Dama Country, these villages could hire their services to take their goods to sell them elsewhere. Hence, the small villages saw an increase in their livelihood.
One of the people who saw this change happening was Kabuto Yakushi. A boy, who was a direct victim of the greedy Shinobi culture, as well as Danzo. A boy whose life was purposefully destroyed just so others could control him.
He was a loyal follower of Orochimaru because the man gave him a purpose and identity. Something that was taken from him at the root. However, he was not crazy enough to follow him to death.
After the events of Konoha, and how easily he was caught by Shiroken, he decided to distance himself as much as possible from Orochimaru's influence.
For this, he ran inside Wind Country. The large, desert country had enough dissolute villages for him to hide. And hide he did. He took residence in a small village at the edge of the demon desert.
However, he saw all the changes happening right in front of him. The village went from being one without any food to being a village that produced something and sold it.
The village was good at pottery so they started making it, and even painted it in many patterns. The money started to roll in, on top of that, the moving caravans sold many commodities. The lives of the people started to become much better.
But what made Kabuto most surprised was how the country treated its orphans. He had this idea, that to measure a country's honesty and wealth, just look at how it treats its most vulnerable people.
Here, he saw it all. The children were provided with a home, food and a teacher. All free of cost, so that when they grow up they can work somewhere and earn a living. For the older kids, who were jobless or homeless, they were being taught many vocational courses, that taught them something that can help them earn.
For Shiroken, money was the least of a problem. By controlling so many countries, he was earning much more than he needed to spend. The extra money was either going into more infrastructure or orphanages.
"Living here is just wasting my life. I should seek a higher path for myself. If the world has changed so much, many more avenues should have also opened." Kabuto though and decided to go back to the Sound Country again and take all the research of Orochimaru.
...
Kabuto was not the only person who saw all the changes happening to the world.
There was a man, old and dead. Yet, still living, in not the realm of the living, and neither the realm of the dead. He lived in what lay in between these two, as a chakra-projection.
Only after his death did he realise that death was not so simple for a Jinchuriki of ten tails. The immense Chakra left by Ten-Tails in his body allowed him to stay alive even right now. He had nobody, yet his will stood strong.
He had seen Shiroken from the day he arrived on the planet to right now. He never meddled because he didn't see him as a threat. Because he saw Shiroken being so close to the tailed beasts, the beings he considered his children. He was truly fascinated by Shiroken's biology, as it showed he was only similar in looks with an Otsutsuki, but biologically he was closer to the Ten-Tails and the God Tree.
He was right, in the end, Shiroken turned out to be much better than he had ever expected, and perhaps, even the cycle of Indra and Asura reincarnation was useless now, he thought.
But, his fears came, and Otsutsuki arrived. Still, surprising him, Shiroken won and survived. From there, he became immensely interested in him, because if a person without any serious training and not even in his peak power can kill an Otsutsuki who seemed stronger than Kaguya, then he can surely get stronger and defeat the other Otsutsuki as well.
The only thing he did regret was not telling the tailed beast the entire story of Kaguya and Ninshu. And now, since he saw everything, every single move made by the Black Zetsu, he knew it was time. His days of just being a watcher were over.
"If he does not find out the whole plan of Kaguya, it will be too late." He thought.
So, he decided it was time to have a talk with the boy. The one that he personally called... Child of Chakra.
