My Skill Creation System

Chapter 43 How Dare You Provoke Me

[Blue Bar (Mana): 90%]

[Green Bar (Energy): 80%]

[Yellow Bar (Will Power): 10%]

Nathan glanced at his status on his hunter device, which showed that he was in a fairly strange state. Only the yellow bar was flashing rapidly.

"Huh? Why is only Will Power drained?"

"Hunter devices don't show the user's status with precision, Master. It may be showing 10%, but in reality it could mean 1 to 10%. If you're not careful, you could lose your consciousness and end up harming yourself. And as to why only Will Power was drained. That's because you used the Mana and Energy that was on the Golem, so those two remained relatively untouched." Luna explained.

Nathan nodded slowly in understanding. "Do you think that my willpower is still enough for me to go around for a while with Geen? I'm really curious what the situation is with Zander and Marco."

Nathan looked at Geen as he thought for a quick moment before making his decision. "I'll check it out for a moment. It won't take much time."

He touched the head of the spirit beast, "Okay Geen, help me monitor the situation of this dungeon, and also monitor where your old master is."

"Screee… Screee…"

Geen turned around and walked with its feet on a large tree branch. It then shot into the air through the leaves, creating a small sound in the middle of the quiet night.

Nathan repositioned himself in his place. He closed his eyes and muttered under his breath. "Visual Linking."

Nathan opened his eyes, and instantly he saw through Geen's eyes.

He reflexively closed his eyes again, shocked by the change he had received. "What the hell. I'm not used to seeing the world this way."

He could actually see in all directions with just his two eyes.

Nathan slowly opened his eyes again and tried to get used to Geen's point of view.

Geen's Enhanced Vision skill allowed him to see every movement on the ground. He gulped in awe as he realized how amazing the abilities of the spirit beasts were.

"With Geen's eyes like this, I can find my target much more easily."

Nathan noticed the digital map in the corner of his eye. The initially dark part of the map opened up as he passed the place.

"Only a small part of this digital map is still covered in darkness. This shows that Marco really has mapped out the entire territory of this dungeon."

Nathan looked at the high cliff in the center of the dungeon. It was the plateau he suspected that Zander and Marco were at.

"Geen, show me where Marco is."

"Scree…. Scree…."

Nathan had previously flown this high when Edna lifted his body and carried him to the volcano in the Crescent Moon Dimension. At first, he found it a little strange, but he could easily get used to it.

It was the middle of the night. The moon shone brightly. Nathan recognized the form of Zander sitting on the edge of the cliff.

"Where's Marco?"

Nathan just asked Geen to fly around near the place. At that moment, Geen's eyes focused on one point. At that moment, he could recognize Marco sitting behind a tree.

With Geen's keen eyes, Nathan could see Marco's face slightly illuminated by the moonlight passing through the gaps in the leaves.

"Is he angry? Is he tired?"

Nathan was curious about Marco. He thought about approaching the man. However, there were some things he was worried about, or rather, he was trying to be as vigilant as possible.

After paying closer attention, it was at this moment that Nathan realized Marco had lost his right leg.

"Shit! Really? Aren't they partners? Why did Marco lose his leg? Does he really need help?"

The hawk spirit beast Geen was still flying around the high cliff. Nathan was still curious about what really happened.

At that moment, Nathan saw Marco looking at him. Yes, Nathan could clearly see Marco's eyes. It was a look of hatred in his eyes that Nathan had never seen before. A look that differed completely from what Marco had shown before.

Nathan didn't really know Marco. He had only known Marco recently, and even then, Marco wasn't the type to talk much. However, everything that had happened to him recently had much to do with Marco.

Nathan didn't really know who Marco was or the young man's real motivation. However, there was one thing he needed to be sure of this time. Whether or not he needed help. And hopefully, they could at least work together to defeat Zander.

"I will try to defeat Zander, while remaining vigilant of Marco and his actions. Stay alert to everything. There's no harm, right?"

Nathan asked Geen to go on patrol and watch his sleeping body from a distance to make sure there was no threat to him while he was asleep.

Nathan broke free from Visual Linking and returned to his body.

Luna greeted him with a smile floating in front of him.

"Thanks Luna. At least I don't feel lonely in a situation like this."

Luna nodded quickly at Nathan's words. "Good night, Master Nathan."

***

Marco Frey.

It was in the morning. It was his third day in the cursed dungeon.

Marco was still in the same place, leaning against the trees. His soul had sunk so deep into a mindless fury that he couldn't think of anything else apart from his all-consuming anger.

'Fuck! Shit! I'm gonna kill you! I will make your life suffer. I will make your death even worse than being burned in hell!.'

Even though he appeared calm outside, his insides continued to rumble and curse from the depths of his dark soul.

There was a gurgling sound from his stomach. Ever since he entered this dungeon, he had eaten nothing at all. But he was too far gone to care about that anymore.

He was fed up with all the things he was dealing with. He had tried to do everything with care. He had made sure everything went his way. But he was still faced with something as bad as this.

"I will settle this matter immediately."

Marco glanced at Zander, who, at that moment, looked awake from his sleep.

Zander grabbed a piece of paper that had fallen onto his body, a white paper with some text.

Zander opened out the paper and read the message on it.

'You, stupid asshole! I will kill you. I'm more than you think. I will chop off your head.' That's what's written on it.

Zander smiled, reading the message. He then threw it on the ground.

He stood up and turned to Marco. He walked over to the young man and stood straight in front of him.

Zander looked down and grabbed the index finger of Marco's right hand. With a light movement, his finger shattered, blood splashing onto his face.

Marco closed his eyes, holding back the pain. His hands and body trembled. His teeth gritted.

"You have nine fingers left."

Zander got back up and walked away.

The day went on like the previous day. Only Nathan's golem was seen hunting from a distance.

Zander couldn't hold his patience. He wanted to destroy the golem. But that won't solve the problem. He had to catch the real body of that bastard youth.

Zander thought of killing all the monsters in this dungeon and waiting for that bastard boy at the dungeon exit. But there was one thing on his mind that prevented him from doing that. He wanted to have fun with the young man. He hoped that if the young man leveled up a few times, he could have much more fun destroying all the hopes he had built up.

Zander smiled, and the day slowly passed.

The next day, he received the same message when he woke up.

'Zander, someone at the hospital. Is she really your daughter? Why isn't she as ugly as you?' That's what's written on it.

Zander clenched his fists and slammed them into the ground. He threw the paper far away, stood up, and walked to the cliff's edge.

"You are a little bitch! I'm gonna find you! I'll kill you and drink your blood!"

Zander's scream echoed from all around.

The man turned and walked over to Marco. He bent down and grabbed the young man by the neck, lifting him up.

Zander gripped Marco's jaw so tightly he could see blood dripping from the boy's mouth.

"You have two days. If you fail to find him then I'll kill you."

Zander threw Marco's body on the ground and spat at him.

The fourth day in the dungeon ended, and Zander again received the same message the next morning.

"So it's true, she's your daughter? May I, uhmm… Taste her?"

Zander threw the paper away, immediately stood up, and walked over to Marco. "Follow me. Don't you even think of running away from me."

Marco stood up with the help of a stick and lowered his head, not responding at all to Zander's words.

Zander could see where Nathan's golem was. He was sure that the young man would try to kill the dungeon boss that day.

Zander couldn't hold back his anger anymore. He will destroy everything in front of him. He would find the young man and tear him apart until there was nothing left.

pαпdα Йᴏνê|,сòМ Zander ran fast, darting through the trees. All his senses remained alert while ensuring Marco ran after him.

Even though he didn't make a sound, Marco still followed what the man said. He ran and tried to follow where Zander was running to.

Not long after that, they arrived at an open plain where a three-meter-tall boar was running wildly after a golem that was trying to attack it.

"You dug your own grave by coming to kill this dungeon, boss, kid!"

Zander walked slowly toward the fight between the golem and the wild boar monster.

"Show yourself, how dare you provoke me with such horrible words about my daughter."
