He dropped the container on the floor as usual before quickly making his way toward the door.
'I'm going to run an extra two kilometers today, Catherine, am I going to get extra rewards for it?'
<That's not up to me but there's a chance that you may get something>
"Okay." He muttered before taking off.
With his improved dexterity, the goalkeeper could now complete two kilometers without feeling as drained as he used to; that was the reason why he had decided to run four kilometers today.
'I just feel great today.' He said subconsciously as he ran down the road.
<I can tell>

The message appeared on his system screen as soon as he got to the park but he wasn't going to be stopping there today.
He continued running down the road and by the time he completed the four kilometers he had almost gotten to the Wondamino stadium.
The goalkeeper let out huffs and puffs as he looked ahead with both of his hands placed on his knees.
<Four kilometers, well done>
'Where are my rewards?'
<I told you that it's not up to me but you may get something>

He was still breathing heavily as he stared at the messages on his screen with a wide smile on his face.
'I am so glad I decided to do this.'
He got home and was glad to find the table already set with breakfast ready and waiting for him.
The two ate their breakfast and after that, Dave quickly went upstairs to get ready because they needed to be in Spree this morning for their match against Spree City which was kicking off by 2:00 PM.
It took him about twenty minutes to finish getting ready.
He made his way downstairs putting on a red shirt and black jacket with black jeans trousers and a pair of black sneakers with red designs.
"Hey," Emma said with a smile after spotting him from where she was sitting in the living room.
"Hey," Dave said, moving closer to him.
"You look....nice." She said after looking at him from head to toe.
"Thanks," Dave said before turning his gaze to the couch where his backpack was lying.
"Yeah." She said before turning to pick up the bag. "Your bag." She said, handing the bag to him.
"Yeah," Dave said, taking the backpack from her.
"I packed everything you'll need in there." She said,
"Thanks, babe." Dave said before leaning closer to kiss her. "I guess I'll be seeing you there in the afternoon."
"Yeah." She said with a nod.
"Alright then." He said moving to the door. "See you in a few hours."
_____ ____
The team bus had just arrived at the airport and the players were now making their way out of the bus and heading into the team's plane which was already waiting for them.
The players made their way to their desired seats and after making sure that they were all seated and had their seat belts on, the plane had taken off.
Mateo and Dave were sitting together as always and the two seemed to be talking quite a lot since the plane took off.
Their teammates were quite surprised by how much the two had been talking, especially Dave.
"Hey, what's up with you two?" Ferran raised his head from the seat behind to ask.
"What?" Mateo asked.
"You guys are talking too much and you Mateo, your voice is quite loud," Ferran said.
"Oh," Dave said before turning his gaze to Norman and Aima who were sitting opposite them and the two were looking at them with strange expressions on their faces.
The goalkeeper didn't even realize and now he was feeling quite embarrassed.
<I tried to tell you>
Dave felt embarrassed, Mateo wasn't bothered in any way instead he brought out his phone.
"Hey, Ferran, stay there." He said before setting his phone up for a selfie.
He took a selfie of the three of them before bringing down his phone to post it on his Instagram.
"Off to Spree with my buds." He said as he typed on his phone. "Hashtag victory." He added before clicking the post button.
"I hope so Mateo," Ferran said before sitting back in his seat.
The team arrived at Spree by exactly 11:30 AM and now they were making their way to Spree City's Telonia stadium which was just across the road.
There were lots of fans waiting for them by the side and as always they were shouting the names of their favorite players on the team.
Dave didn't even bother to check if he would hear anyone call his name but just as he was about to make his way into the building, he heard someone call his name from the side.
"Dave Richards." The boy called again.
Dave slowly turned to the side to see the young boy standing there with a pair of gloves in his hand.
"Can you sign my gloves please?" The young boy requested.
"Sure," Dave said with a warm smile as he bent down in front of him, took the pen from him, and signed both of his gloves.
"Thank you, Dave." The boy said with a smile.
"You're welcome," Dave said before making his way into the building with his teammates.
<Boost of confidence>
The players were shown to their dressing room by the hosts and after getting there, they dressed up in their black training kit before making their way to the pitch where their opponents were already training.
"This is going to be a tough match," Ferran said on spotting Spree City's center forward Felix Nunez.
Felix was a slim but muscular player, he had short black hair and a face that made it difficult to tell the expression on his face in any situation.
"Yeah," Dave muttered.
Felix quickly made his way to the area as soon as he spotted his favorite players on the team.
"Hey, Ferran." He said, shaking Ferran's hand. "Mateo." He said before shaking Mateo's hands.
"Felix," Mateo said.
"And there's my best man Dave." He said before going for a fist bump with Dave. "You guys are welcome."
"Thank you," Dave said before Mateo and Ferran said.
"You guys were on fire last week," Felix said.
"And so were you guys," Ferran said.
"Yeah, we dropped two points, you guys didn't drop any points," Mateo said.
"But still you guys are in good form and I hear it's because of Dave's current form," Felix said.
"Yeah, Dave's been awesome lately, those matches could have ended differently for us if it weren't for his heroics," Ferran stated.
"I see, Dave Richards is finally showing us what he's got," Felix said, turning his gaze to Dave. "But I hope you can allow me to get at least three past you, the others I can find a way to force in."
<I think he's mocking you>
'I am aware of that.'
"I need to return to training now, make yourselves at home." He said before running off back to his teammates.
"Alright I am going to say it, I don't like that guy," Mateo said.
"I don't think any of us does," Ferran said.
