'And to think that I dropped points into energy thinking that this was going to be a tough match.' The goalkeeper said subconsciously as he made his way down the tunnel.
<It's still good that you did, it will come in handy in touch matches>
'Yeah, I'm aware of that, it's just that I expected so much more from them in this match.'
<Hey, are you happy that you won or not?>
'I am, I never said I wasn't.' He replied. 'Darwin must be in rage wherever he is now.'
<Well, he used to give you guys that feeling, now he knows how that feels, football is such an interesting game on and off the pitch>
'I couldn't agree more.'
Dave got to the locker room to find out that there was no running around being done by Minino, but his voice was going up as he seemed to be talking about something with his teammates on the other side.
He didn't even bother to try and find out what that was all about as he made his way to his locker and sat down beside Mateo who was busy going through his phone.
"Hey, bro have you seen this?" The winger suddenly asked before turning his gaze to the goalkeeper.
"Seen what?"
"There's a rumor going around about you being in Frankfurt a couple of weeks ago because you're planning to move there next season." He explained before giving him his phone so that he could see it himself.
Dave carefully went through everything that was written there before giving it back to him.
It was a post from one of the big sports media from Bilbeth, and although that was misleading and completely false, he couldn't really be bothered.
"If that's what they found to drive engagement for them then so be it, this isn't the first time they're doing something like this after all." He expressed.
ραΠdαsΝοvεl.cοm "Yeah, you're right, I'm even surprised they didn't say anything about me being in Madrid." The winger said before dropping his phone on the bench. "Can I ask you something?"
"Yeah, sure."
"I heard Frankfurt are the ones that want you the most according to the offers they've already made, are you going to consider moving there if there's nothing better from the other sides at the end of the season?"
"Well, they are on my list of favorable clubs to join but it isn't just about the offer, there are a lot of things that I'm going to consider before joining any club and Clark is helping me with that at the moment, his findings at the end of the season will influence about sixty percent of my choice to join any club, the last percentage comes down to their offer and other personal stuff."
"Oh, I see."
"What about you? Do you have your mind set on joining any club next season?"
"Well, I didn't tell anyone about this, but part of the reason why I was at Madrid during the mid-season break was because of contract reasons."
He had to whisper that to him so that his other teammates wouldn't hear it.
"Oh, contract reasons, was it Real Madrid?"
"No, Real Madrid doesn't seem to be interested in me." He replied before shaking his head.
"Oh, so it was Atletico then."
"Yeah."
"They're making a good offer but they haven't contacted the club yet, that would be at the end of the season."
"So, you're going to join them then?"
"Yeah, outside the Bilbeth Premier League, La Liga is my favorite league and if can't join any of their top two clubs might as well join the third one."
"What about Aston Villa?"
"Umm….I don't want to go there anymore and other than that, Atletico has the better offer."
"Hmm, I see, it's cool that you have your mind set on somewhere." The goalkeeper said.
"Yeah, but that could change depending on how much things change at the end of the season but if nothing too much happens then I'll move there."
After saying that, the winger turned his gaze back to his phone as Dave got up to bring out his stuff from his locker.

'I knew it was going to be low.'
<Yeah, you didn't do much in this match>
'Because there wasn't much to do, I wished there was but there wasn't.'
It didn't take long before Norman walked into the locker room clapping as loud as he could, he was really happy with the way his team destroyed Frono FC as shown by the bright smile on his face.
He went on a rant for a while before finally saying something they could understand.
"You know what? We're all going out for dinner tomorrow after our training session, my treat."
"Yes! Let's go, coach!" Minino screamed at the top of his voice and before anyone knew it, the rest of his gang joined him in his madness.
What was happening inside the locker room now was pretty interesting.
After the players were done having their fun in the locker room, it was finally time for them to start heading home.
They met up outside where they parked their cars where they said goodbye to each other before they got in their car and began to make their way home.
It didn't take Dave long to get home, and after parking his car however he wanted outside, he made his way inside the house where he found Emma sitting on the couch with her gaze on the screen but she turned her gaze to him as soon as he closed the door.
"Oh, hey, welcome back."
"Hey." He muttered before he made his way to her and gave her a little peck on the cheek. "How are you doing?"
"I'm okay, and I see you're in a really good mood after trashing Frono FC."
"Why wouldn't I be in a good mood? Those dudes frustrated us last season, this is our payback season and we handed it to them in style."
"Well, you guys have been doing things in style since the start of this season, I just hope you guys win the league for us."
"Well, we're trying our best." He said before he turned and began to make his way upstairs. "But don't blame us if we don't."
He made his way straight to the room and was removing his shirt now when his phone which was lying on the bed now began to ring.
He leaned closer to check who it was, and as soon as he saw that it was Clark, he picked up the phone and pressed the answer button.
He didn't exactly know but he was expecting something surprising from him as he placed the phone against his ear.
"Hey, Clark."
"Hello, Dave."
He was expecting something surprising from his friend, but the more he spoke, the more he realized that there was nothing like that or maybe he was just expecting too much.
"Oh, so it's for another Footy Wear video."
