With Dave helping her to get things done, including breakfast, it didn't take long for them to finish up everything, he even helped her get ready for work, and now the two were having breakfast together downstairs.
The wall clock was showing the time to be 7:34 AM so she still had enough time left to have a little breakfast chat with him.
"So, Spree City beat Lesica United last night and you guys are level on points now but they are still topping the group with the higher goal difference." She said before taking a sip from her cup of coffee.
"Yeah, Dave said with a nod."
"You guys have to win against Frono tonight to overtake them but they'll still have the lead if they win against Razid FC unless you guys can find a way to close the seven goals gap in the match against Frono FC."
"We just have to try our best to get a win against Frono and then hope they lose or draw to Razid FC."
"It could go your way but football is full of surprises." She said before taking a sip from her cup of coffee.
"You will be in Frono tonight right?"
"Why not?" She said, "Matthew would want to take a break of his own since I decided to take a break last night."
"Okay," Dave said.
There was a little moment of silence between the two before Emma decided to say something.
"You know this moment is turning out to be a crazy one." She said,
"How?"
"Umm…" She trailed off to take a sip from her coffee before dropping it on the table. "I usually see my period between the twenty-fifth to twenty-sevenths of every month but today's the twenty-eight and I…haven't seen it."
The expression on Dave's face changed to that of a slightly confused person as soon as she said that.
"You're saying that you missed your period." The goalkeeper said.
"I don't know, maybe it's just a slight delay or I've missed it but I'll know at the end of the day." She said casually.
"And if you don't see it at the end of today?"
"That means I've missed it." She said,
"And missing it means…."
"That I'm pregnant."
<And pregnancy means babies> Catherine said. <Pregnancy alert>
Emma had a smile on her face as she raised her cup to take another sip from it but the same couldn't be said for Dave whose heart was racing now as he had mixed feelings of excitement and nervousness.

Dave arrived at the stadium at the same time as most of his teammates and right now, they were all in the locker room to listen to what Norman had planned for the upcoming match.
"Before I start, I believe all of you must have heard what happened to the president Mr. Tom Richards and for those who don't know yet, he was involved in a car accident last night and was immediately rushed to the Central Hospital, fortunately, it wasn't that serious and he only suffered a few injuries and a broken leg."
None of the players seemed surprised to hear that as all of them got the information last night.
"The president is recovering fine but I don't think he will be back for a few months so the vice president will be filling in his role in the meantime."
After giving them the information on what happened to the president and his current situation just like he was supposed to, he moved on to reveal the formation and tactics he had planned for the match.
He used the little blue discs on the board to form a four four two formation which was the formation he had planned for the match.
"Four four two," Mateo muttered. He didn't look impressed.
"I chose this formation because we are going to need an extra man in the midfield, Frono FC's strength comes mainly from their midfield so we're going to try and beat them at their own game, cut out all possible through balls and reverse them."
"Okay, but isn't there supposed to be an attacking midfielder?" Edward asked, looking at both of the discs in the middle representing two central midfielders.
"I know Ferran always takes the role of an attacking midfielder whenever we use this formation," Norman said, pulling one of the discs to drop it in front of the other one before returning it to the middle. "But we're going to use this formation to confuse and then in the second half when they least expect it, we'll switch to four three one-two, that's four four two B."
"Okay, starting eleven?" Adolf asked.
"Dave in between the sticks as always, Norman in right back, Aima and Adolf in the center back, and Roland in left back.
Jonas didn't have a pleasant look on his face after seeing Roland getting chosen ahead of him once again to start a match.
"In midfield, starting from the right we'll have Minino, Ferran, Edward and Harry then our two center forwards will be Fred and Fredinho," Norman said.
"It's the bench for me today," Mateo muttered.
After going through the other tactics of the match with the players, it was now time for them to head to the pitch and have a short training session before going home to get ready for their trip to Frono.
Dave was walking toward the goalpost with a clearly occupied mind, his mind was so occupied that he didn't hear Mateo calling his name from behind until the winger caught up to him.
"Hey, what's up? You've been acting like there's something bothering you since you got here, is it your dad?" Mateo asked after pulling up in front of him.
"No, it's not that," Dave replied.
"Then what is it?"
"I don't know if I should tell you this."
"Tell me what?"
"I think Emma's pregnant." He said.
"You think she's pregnant or she's pregnant?" Mateo asked.
"We don't know for sure but she was supposed to see her period on any day in the last three days but she hasn't seen it until today."
"Oh," Mateo said with an awkward expression on his face.
"She said that if she doesn't see it before the end of today then she would be seventy percent sure that she's pregnant."
"And you've been acting like this because you've been thinking about it all day," Mateo said.
"Why wouldn't I? I know it's something good but I don't think I'm prepared to have a child at least not yet."
"Nobody is ever fully prepared for anything no matter how much you prepare, if she turns out to be really pregnant, just do the little preparations you can do, and everything will be alright," Mateo said, placing his hand on his shoulder. "Besides there's a chance that it may just be a false alarm given the fact that she hasn't done the pregnancy test."
"Yeah," Dave muttered.
"So calm down, we have a match to win, we don't need you thinking about something like this in the middle of the match." He patted him on his shoulder before walking off toward Ferran.
"I'm about to become an Uncle." The winger muttered after walking a little distance away from him.
<He's right, occupying your mind with something like this during the match could be costly>
