Jiang Xin’s sudden action shocked Su Wan and Jiang Tian at the same time.
Jiang Xin noticed the strange look in her eyes and explained, “I have something to say to Miss Su.”
“Okay, Grandpa will wait for you here.” Jiang Tian smiled at Jiang Xin.
Su Wan didn’t say anything and only nodded at her.
Then, the two of them walked out of the cafe.
Jiang Xin was the first to speak. “Miss Su, I admit that I lost. I used to think that I was outstanding and that I should get everything. It was only when I saw Jing Chen’s feelings for you that I understood nothing forcibly done is going to be agreeable. My feelings for Jing Chen might really be an obsession that I can’t get.”
“I didn’t expect you to gain so much clarity after we parted for less than half a month.” Su Wan was surprised.
Perhaps Old Master Jiang’s illness had really hit her hard.
No wonder when they met today, her dark eyes were no longer as arrogant as before. Instead, she became more sensible.
“In the past, I stayed under Grandpa’s wings. Although I was carefree every day, I always felt that it was too easy. People have to grow up. Perhaps I’m no exception. That’s why the heavens arranged this for me.”
The two of them had already walked out of the cafe. Jiang Xin looked up at the sky and sounded choked up.
If one looked carefully, they would be able to see the tears in her eyes.
Su Wan looked at Jiang Xin and suddenly felt sorry for her.
At this moment, a man suddenly ran out in a hurry. Because he was too fast, he didn’t have time to stop and bumped into Su Wan.
Because of inertia, Su Wan fell forward. Her hands rubbed against the ground, leaving slight wounds.
But an even more intense pain came from her stomach. Su Wan was shocked and quickly covered her stomach. “My child!”
Blood slowly seeped out from under Su Wan’s body. Jing Chen, who had come to pick Su Wan up, happened to see this scene. He rushed over at lightning speed and hugged Su Wan. “Wan wan!”
“Jing Chen, the child…” Before Su Wan could finish speaking, her eyes started to lose focus and she lost consciousness.
Jing Chen looked at Su Wan and looked up at Jiang Xin. His eyes were filled with coldness and he shot them at Jiang Xin like a knife.
Jiang Xin was stunned.
“Wan wan!” Jing Chen shouted anxiously. He quickly picked Su Wan up and ran crazily into the car parked by the roadside, making Zhao Lin speed to the hospital.
Along the way, Su Wan’s lower body was still bleeding. Jing Chen held Su Wan’s hand tightly and urged Zhao Lin while anxiously paying attention to Su Wan’s condition.
Su Wan’s face turned pale. Looking at her stomach, Jing Chen panicked.
When they arrived at the hospital, Su Wan was quickly sent to the emergency room.
Jing Chen paced back and forth anxiously outside, his eyes looking at the lights in the emergency room from time to time.
Time passed minute by minute. The lights in the emergency room were still on. Nurses came and went. Jing Chen was extremely afraid when he saw the nervousness on their faces.
“Jing Chen, how is Miss Su? I rushed over after sending Grandpa back…” Jiang Xin was still panting as she stood behind Jing Chen.
When Jing Chen heard Jiang Xin’s voice, he lost his mind. He turned around and walked quickly to Jiang Xin. He grabbed her neck and his eyes were red. “Jiang Xin! What do you want? Wan wan has no grudge against you. Why did you hurt her like this?”
Jing Chen’s roar made Jiang Xin tremble. His eyes were filled with anger and hatred, and the force in his hand was increasing.
Jiang Xin’s face flushed red and she found it difficult to breathe. “Jing Chen, I… I can’t speak anymore.”
Seeing that his breathing was rapid, Jing Chen regained his rationality and let go of her.
Breathing in the fresh air, Jiang Xin coughed hard and looked at Jing Chen in disbelief. “Jing Chen, did you want to strangle me just now?”
Jing Chen looked at Jiang Xin coldly. “If anything happens to Wan wan and the child in her stomach, I want you to pay with your life!”
Jiang Xin looked at Jing Chen with a trembling voice. “Jing Chen, if I say that I didn’t do it, will you believe me?”
“Jiang Xin!” Jing Chen shouted her name angrily. “I saw it with my own eyes. How can it be fake?”
It was an expected reaction.
Jiang Xin closed her eyes in despair, tears streaming down her face.
